I can't get phone audio through my Bluetooth. Phone calls are dead silent, no sound, no mic. Headset will say the phone number calling, and then silence. However, I can stream audio to it just fine using Spotify.
Details - 11.0 ARHD, 2.17 firmware and radio, T-Mobile US install in Aroma. S-Off, SuperCID, Completely clean install.
Does anyone else have this issue? Is it a 4.2.2 issue?
I have a warranty exchange phone that is completely stock, and it works fine. But I'm worried about rooting again if this breaks my Bluetooth.

I am curious if anyone knows how to properly route the audio from the speakerphone on the rear of the phone to the earbud on the front of the phone? Skype audio calls play on the back of the phone. I also bought a Bluetooth headset to solve this; however, only standard call audio is routed to the headset.
I tried using Skype Receiver Switch and the sound still didn't route to the front of the phone.
I also attempted to use Bluetooth Audio. That program routed the sound to the bluetooth headset, but the microphone on the Bluetooth headset wasn't sending audio back to the device.
The only reason I bought this TILT was for the Skype purpose and that seems to be an impossible situation!
if you bought the tilt solely for voip, then you bought the wrong phone. AT&T doesn't support voip on their wireless network yet so that's why all the voip and video phone stuff was disabled out-of-the-box.
Now as for Skype, that should work fine and should push the audio thru the correct speakers. Did you try installing skype right after a hard reset? Maybe there's something else installed that's interfering with it.
How would I do a hard reset? I don't know of anything on the phone that would interfere with it? And, before doing a hard reset, is there a way to backup all of the contacts and events, and even possibly the data, that I have on the phone? I just need to get Skype working as I'm facing a deployment soon and this will be my primary means of calling back home... Thanks for your advice.
On my 2014 Kia Optima the phone & media audio connects just fine. While streaming music, if i take a call, audio streaming doesn't work anymore afterwards. The car stereo still shows the songs as if they were playing, but no audio is being streamed. I can keep on taking calls and they work just fine through bluetooth, but music audio never returns.
I can fix this by turning off/on bluetooth, or placing a call on speakerphone before it ends. The problem always returns after the next call: no music.
Seems to be a problem of the A2DP protocol not being able to reconnect; Which I think some other people have had.
This is only happening on all Moto Xs with 4.4. Tested with HTC one 4.4.2, and Moto X 4.2.2 and no problems. Might either be a 4.4. or Moto X 4.4 problem.
Anyone with same problem, or any ideas/suggestions?
My 2013 acts the same way kk. Thinking about going back to 4.2.2

I converted my HTC One to GPe 4.4.2 stock ROM and flashed the Bulletproof Kernel. I am now having Bluetooth audio issues.
I have a QED uPlay which is connected to my home HiFi setup. I use this to play music from my HTC One, Nexus 7 and Laptop.
I use Spotify, iPlayer Radio/ Capital Radio app etc and have various problems.
Spotify Only:
When I use the EQ settings within Spotify I get a kind of vibrating sound though the speakers when I open up menus. If I turn EQ off, this goes away. I am generally content to turn the EQ off when it is connected to my HiFi, but when I have my earphones in I like to tune the earphones. This means having to go into setting to turn this on and off depending on what method I am using to listen to music.
iPlayer Radio & Capital Radio App
I sometimes get the same noise as above. There is however no EQ settings within these apps, and it seems completely random.
All Music Sources
When I hold the device in my hand, or physically stand between the phone and QED uPlay, I get broken sound as if I am a distance away when in fact I am only a meter or so away.
I have tested all with my stock Nexus 7 running Kit Kat, and I don't have the issue with holding the device and or standing in front of it causing it to breakup but I do get the vibrating sound every time on iPlayer Radio. I had none of these issues before the GPe conversion or the Kit Kat update to Nexus 7. I also have a cheap bluetooth speaker that shows the same issues.
So...
It seems the vibrating sound is a Kit Kat bug
but what about the poor signal strength of the HTC One by just holding it etc? Anyone got any ideas on this?
Hi all,
I was wondering if somebody could help me with my 3T.
I've noticed that when I use my bluetooth headset or when connected to the car, no sound is there when trying to make calls or receive calls. The call appears but when i answer no sound.
However, media audio works perfectly fine. Phone audio and media audio are both selected in the paired bluetooth settings.
I thought there must be something wrong with the rom I was using which was omni. I have reflashed OOS 5.0.1 but I have the same problem.
I started using Android auto in the car hoping call sound would come through as it is connected by usb. The same issue occurs. Media audio is fine. No call sound.
I have tried unpairing and pairing bluetooth devices to see if this works. Also uninstalled android auto and reinstalled.
I have tried a Galaxy S9 with android auto and the Bluetooth devices to see if the problem occurred on the S9 but everything worked perfectly.
Anyone come across this before?
Solution?

have you solved your problem? you have found a solution
Having the Same problem with my one since 5.0.8 try everything i.e changing rom going back to stock even older version of android but no luck.
I had no mic during the call with wireless bullets. I think it was solved it by changing bluetooth settings in degveloper options.
bluetooth audio mode to mono, codec - SBC and other bitrates and enabled absolute volume .
Or you just have low volume in the call, which can be increased only during the call
My AA enabled head unit and Galaxy A52 have been working fine together but recently the audio from phone calls has starting coming from the phone speaker whereas before it came from the car speakers. Other audio, ie music, navigation directions etc all continue to come from the car speakers as before, its just phone calls that has changed.
There has not been a change to the hardware so I assume this has been caused by a software change somewhere, has anyone else experienced this and/or know of a solution?
Thanks.
