Hi - I have a rom for Tytn II installed which is
version: 1.81.415.4 WWE
Date: 29 Oct 2007
Radio ver: 1.27.15.32
Protocol: 22.51.88.13W
IMEI: 35575701181308201
I planned to update it and on the HTC e-club saw this rom with date as 21st Feb 2008 - which is later than this ROM I have right ? Well, the rom after downloading reflected the name of the same as:
RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.32R2_Ship.exe
If I read this it appears that the entire details appear to be older than what I have unless HTC is numbering the roms and newer versions with a decreasing theme.
Can someone tell me which one is new ? I wanted to update my ROM and now not sure where I can get it from ?
Do you have the link to double check?
Incorrect dating on the HTC Tytn II
http://www.htc.com/member/DownloadAddressforRuu.aspx?dl_id=390&type=Updates&lan=
This is as far as I can capture for the link - I have tried using the Europe, US and Asian FTP links, and they all take me to the same place. I am logging in from the Middle East site of Eclub though
you probably dont have access to the latest rom from your country's htc eclub (or something like that)
i would just download from mirrors posted in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=394369
or here:

Problem solved (at least partly)
Hi all - thanks for assisting me on this. I finally figured it out:
What I am using right now is actuall the arabic support rom, which i did not realize since the language by default chosen was english. This is version 1.81.415.4 WWE
The one that I kept downloading from the EMEA site was the english one only, which was number 1.56.405.5
So I guess that it was not incorrect versioning after all. However the only problem now for me is that after downloading the english rom, i landed up getting a message saying it cant install since it is not supported by my device !!! ??? I am enclosing the screenshot with this post in case someone can help me out
Hi All
During my business trip, I have bought the G1 in China (a real one) because my other phone broke down (it was a HTC 3600). Nothing exiting.....
Well, everything seems to be good except the language....I have initiated the G1 with english language but there are a lot of signs and icones remaining in chinese.....
Should I tell you that I am very BUT VERY interested having the French language incopored in the G1 (You understood that I am french...).
I have spend time on the HTC site, but Nothing is available
Any ideas of how I should do...to modify the G1
Thanks to all for your reply
Marc9595
No body has suggestion ?
Start over from RC29 or RC7 depending on the version of the phone.
Thanks h.nocturna for your reply.
However what do you mean by Start over from RC29 or RC7 depending on the version of the phone.
The version I have is
firmware 1.5
kernel version 2.6.237-00392-g8312baf
build version kila-user 1.5 crb21 147201 ota-rel-keys, release-keys
Should I say that I am lost with this phone if I compare with my old htc3600....
Thanks for your help
any help ?
Thanks
No one to help me ?
Hello,
Can someone please post the original Dutch rom for the Nexus One?
I've bought the Nexus one from google in the US, but last friday they released the Nexus One in the Netherlands.
I would love to have the original rom. Plz help!
Do you have a rooted Nexus? if so you can use cm it has dutch.
I use CM for a long time always in Dutch.
My Nexus one is rooted. I rather use the original rom.

Try to find out the build number of the dutch N-1s. I think it uses the European build, in which case you can flash the EPF21B firmware -- http://android.modaco.com/content/g...-online-kitchen-optional-root-insecure-himem/
You will need Amon's RA_Nexus recovery image. You can instead opt for the US firmware, which is latest @ ERE27. I don't think they must have a dutch-specific build - I am quite sure European build supports Dutch.
Mine says EPF30...if that's of any help? (And yes it is the version sold by Vodafone in the Netherlands).
So is that build the build to be expected?
Wow this is a new one.. Never heard of it before. I am guessing EPF30 is an update over EPF21B, so the might have the Dutch. Or if you can find the EPF30 update.zip somewhere, that'd be even better..
Oh and I just checked the 'locale' settings and it has the following languages:
Cestina
Dansk
Deutsch
English (Australia)(New Zealand)(South Africa)(UK)(US)
Espanol
Francais
Italiano
Nederlands
Polski
Portugues
Svenska
and Russian
(that to me, as a novice I must add, implies a European rom???)
Oh and to be complete (and some of you must know what this all means):
Builld: EPF30
Baseband: 32.26.00.24U_4.04.00.03_2
Kernel: 2.6.29-01117-g4bc62c
(tis is abracadabra to me...but happy to learn what it means!)

Here is the EPF30 ROM, jeurizz -- http://www.mediafire.com/?q4jrntqdywu (found from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681885 )
You can use it by following the instructions here -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=614850
Just use this zip in place of that download, and the rest of the steps should be same.
Thanks! Always nice to have to original rom as a backup on my pc
Now just eagerly awaiting 2.2 (like everyone else I guess ;-))
Just a small note - this is not in the update.zip format, and hence won't be flashable from the recovery image. You will have to manually flash each .img using fastboot.
EDIT: Seems I was wrong - you can rename it to PASSIMG.zip , put it on the root of sdcard, and flash it from your stock recovery. Equivalent to the above steps, though.
Thanks! Im very happy to install the europian rom.
HTC Touch Pro2 (T7373): Does anybody have a valid Singapore serial number for this model that they could share with me? I live in Taiwan and bought this phone here last year. As only Traditional Chinese (CHT) language version is available in this market, the HTC retailer here installed the Worldwide English (WWE) language version of WM6.1 which I believe came from Singapore.
Now I am trying to upgrade to the latest WM6.5 (ROM version: 2.07.707.1), but still again, only the CHT version is available to download from the HTC Taiwan website. Therefore, I need a valid Singapore serial number for this phone model in order to download the WWE version from the HTC Singapore website.
Have already tried the serial number HT961L100031 that was previously posted on this site (06OCT09 – Active Stock HTC ROM serials) but it doesn’t work. Any help will be most appreciated!

RE: HTC Touch Pro2 (T7373) - WM6.5 (WWE - ROM version: 2.07.707.1)
Doo Doo: Many thanks for the link. I've now safely downloaded the file and will confirm back to you as soon as I get it successfully installed on my Touch Pro2. Again, many thanks for all your help.
Not sure you'll be able to load it without HardSPL.

Hi. I bought a similar phone in Shenzhen in Dec last year. I flashed a stock ROM from SEA. This will give the advantage of Chinese input on an English language ROM. I've just tried the serial I used to download from HTC, but it no longer works ;-(
Will try a google ....
SPL not needed for stock ROM
RE: HTC Touch Pro2 (T7373) - Singapore WM6.5 (WWE - ROM version: 2.07.707.1)
Hi dodo2244 (and Ut0p1a): I have now safely downloaded the most recent SEA stock ROM of the Singapore WM6.5 (WWE - ROM version 2.07.707.1) and will be installing it into my Taiwan purchased Touch Pro2 tomorrow. Hopefully all will be successful and I will keep you posted. Therefore, no need to trouble you with a painful Google search. But thank you anyways for your kind offer of assistance. It's comforting to know that people like you guys on this xdadevelopers site are able and willing to help. Thanks again and kind regards.
Nice. Actually if you check the HTC site, Singapore IS covered by SEA (South East Asia), so are Indonesia, Vietnam & Malaysia. This is the exact ROM am using now, with a few tweaks of course ;-). Look here for a few pointers to multi lingual input, pinyin et al http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633339&highlight=chinese
Good Luck!
Dear Doo Doo (and dodo 2244 / Ut0p1a / steviewevie): Just a brief note to sincerely say many thanks to all of you guys for taking the time to share your help and advice. I have now successfully installed the latest WM6.5 (WWE - ROM version 2.07.707.1) on my HTC Touch Pro2 and it works perfectly! Also, a very special thank you to Doo Doo for the original Singapore ROM. You guys are stars and I really truly appreciate it. Very best regards, Patrick

Hi
Go here first

the ROM you need is the one on line 8
Good Luck!
I just found this Wildfire being sold in Egypt fully supporting Arabic in an official rom, I was wondering if anyone could share this rom for developers to check it out and make a stable correctly-working Arabic-enabled rom.
I've attached a photo of the phone on the software info screen maybe that helps, it state the following (if you're unable to understand the arabic characters or photo is unclear):
Android Version
2.1-update1
Baseband version
12.51.55.24H_3.35.19.01
Kernel version
2.6.29-6fb59e13
[email protected] #1
Wed Aug 11 23:13:17 CST 2010
Build number
1.33.415.3 CL244394 release-keys
Software number
1.33.415.3
unfortunately I had just updated to OTA 2.2 and my phone was not rooted, my Wildfire has the vodafone (dutch/german) branded phone and I need Arabic support, so guess I'll have to wait till rooting is enabled for 2.2.
