Quake 3 on HTC Diamond

Hello,
i've running Quake 3 on my HTC Diamond with bepe 0.53. Got only 1 FPS, but it runs. I think there is no HW-Driver for OpenGL.
Is our Diamond slow like my old XDA Orbit 2?

o wow, hmmm i'm sure there is a way to get the game running smoothly just that it needs to be able to utilise the on-board GPU... this is not my area of expertise but there is almost always a way ...

i dont think the quake 3 port is even gonna make 5 FPS in the far future.
Not for the diamond anyway

guys a tryed the game on my old touch dual im getting 3 FPS in a wide area and in a smole area getting 5 FPS
the game need hardware keys like
fire = green botton
start (menu) = camera button (you need this for exiting the game)
its not playable
but you can show it to your friands and they will say

What about running Doom?
My old Nokia 7710 could run doom it was pretty cool.

google will show the way
most of them only do software rendering as far as i know
so even a driver which did both opengl and dx would not help

heretic and hexen ports no longer exist, no avaible for download anywhere. Hexen I still have, but can only run in portrait, but i really want heretic.
trust me, ive done lots of googling, and yahooing! lol.

i've done small modifications to get this game running on my diamond. only 1 FPS is very strange, but there are no graphic-bugs or something. Its high quality and on this fantastic display it looks like a photoshop rendered image. sharp, sharper, diamond =)
i will shot some fotos and upload my hole package.

Can you give us your modified quake 3
I would like to test it.

oh ! excuse me, I didn't read your last sentence

his version is not modified, just the same old version, I think it works the same as with the o2 xda flame, just deletel the supplied libgles_cm, and the game need to make use of the one in the windows folder!
donwload the non accel one 1.1(b), the axim version will look for the libgles_CL.
btw on flame I get on average 15 fps with high quality settings

Haha, Q3.. would be fun to bring togeather a couple of friends with the diamond and play q3 multiplayer on the phones.. he he.
Btw, got Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island 1 /2 up and running using scummvm.
And some other oldschool games with the help of pocet version of dosbox.
Brings back some good old memories

Very easy to do and looks great.
I'm now playing Full Throttle with scummVM. Sam and Max hit the road are awesome too

Not as many as yourself mate but we have some of the same games, Modern Combat 2 -Black Pegasus rules but i cant get beyond the sniper on the roof level 3 i think it is.

Only game I play, and that's the one in screenshot, called 'X Construct. I can only get to the 7th bridge though...been stuck on it for WEEKS!!

San Andrea's was good...

Vice City was my favorite. Miami was just a great location to use. San Andreas wasted too much land but it was still a great game. I'm glad they're bringing back the ability to fly planes in the new one.

GTA V isn't even coming out this year so don't get to excited they don't even talk about it, when people ask about it in interviews they try to get to a different subject. All they care for is MP3 and most of us (DEGAS). We Want GTA V lol its been fuc*ing 4 years since anything pretty much EFLC is the same as GTA IV so i don't see that as a newer game than GTA IV.

My favorite is San Andreas, but i'm not playing any GTA game at the moment. I'm also waiting for GTA V.

I really hope they aren't waiting for the new generation of consoles...

That's what happened to my "Episodes from Liberty City" disc. Still have the box, but the disc is MIA.
Also waiting on GTAV

so go download an iso image of the dvd its legal seeing how you have bought the disk simply download it and use it as your backup or delete the iso after reinstalling and plus if you have GTA 4 installed just go to google and download the no cd version for the exe so it loads faster for one and for two you dont need cd

Good thinking, except I have the PS3 version.
No I meant feel.

I am playing gta 3 on My Galaxy Nexus With a PS3 controller.
I beat vice city and still play to kill all the people and what not LOL
As for san andreas I have the digital copy on my XBOX hard drive and GTA 4 on my xbox hard drive. Hadn't had time to devote a lot of time.
I also have Liberty City Stories
GTA 5 Better Be EPIC and not a GTA 4 mistake

WTF ?? i am cm7 and the play store said that this game is not compatible with any of my devise ,i am downloading it on a blog hope it work....

It is available for stock rom gingerbread it its a good game but it lags a bit on stock rom.

my handset has been overclocked to 787 MHz (with smartass v2 governor)and using Chainfire3D with Qualcomm plugin also reduce texture quality.
Smooth at first but suddenly lag again...

i'm also experiencing lags... so i'll stay with "gravity project; long loading times but no lags and fun to play (playstore link: here)

I think it is better than temple run.

Thanks, it worked well.
However, is this the best quality we can get ? Because seeing the "Visual quality" menu, I feel like there is a better option, like "Very High" that is still unavailable (see that empty space at the top of the choice box).

Okay ANDY..
For now I overclocked my GPU to 384 n use rr3 graphic apps. after the last rr3 ver.1.2.0 updated graphics more bright.

Not only turns on all the bling2 for the graphic, suddenly everything is alive!
Pedestrian and cars are all over the place! And there goes my battery..

If it's not working...
Here's how to make it work.
Just copy the profile.bin to the specified location. Then run the game. Don't change any graphic settings.
Once you change the graphic settings, you will have to copy the profile bin again to get it working.
Some high graphic mission such that drive through tunnel car micheal bay exploding may crash the phone.
Don't forget some ice to cool down your phone, or dump it in the snow , freezer...whatever.
