Uh honestly I'm not a noob and I'm not new to android and rooting. Kernels and all that. But this nexus one I can't find anything to root it on 2.3.3. I tried adb. I tried unlocking my boot loader to load cwm on it. Nothing. Any help?

If you got a command error, then there's something wrong with the command you entered, not with the phone. Most likely a typo, or file location problem...
Try again, and post the error...

you should know your CID, to find your RUU
also if you didnt find it, S-Off your HTC One and you can flash any RUU you want
When i first rooted and unlocked my phone it said "Tampered" and "Unlocked" w/ S-off. Now it still says T & U but it now says S-On. I dont understand how this happened? Can someone please assist me with this...thank you in advance.
Either you ran "fastboot oem writesecureflag -3"
Or you flashed something you shouldn't have.

Okay so do this then, make sure you use a sense based rom -just in case-, and then push the revone binary to whatever the folder was in the guide, and chmod it to 755, thats crucial. Then use the prepare command from the binary, reboot, and then try to s-off with the binary.
Just to make sure, do you know how to use ADB and ADB push?
Yes I do I get error -2 all the time

Try this link below. I tried getting s off on my pc with revone but kept getting an error. Used terminal emulator and it worked easily.
