Hi everyone please help me,i have already install rom 4.2.2 (ex: aosp,pa,cm) but if i want to install any apps from playstore is get error message, and download is abort.
is the error code 927? just wait for some time after you get the message, the look of playstore is changed and it takes time to load things. and it will be smooth
exact error message will be helpful.
Try wipe cache/dalvik, fix permissions and reflash of gapps if on custom rom

I have wipe cache/dalvik and still can't dowload, can you help me with other method (ex fix permission) ?
What is the error code displayed in the brackets? Try installing an updated or different version of gapps, this doesn't seem to be a ROM problem.
in recovery navigate to advanced and select fix permissions option. Confirm and reboot.
Also if on custom rom redownload gapps and reflash that. That may also do the trick.
at own risk.

Try erasing data for gmail in task manager. It worked for me.
Inviato dal mio GT-I9000
unfortunately it did not help
Try to delete it from a root explorer in system/app/gmail.apk
And extract it from your ICSSGS RC4.2's .zip. And then copy it in system/app/
With these permissions : RW - R - R

Don't really know about it. But did you try re-flashing the ROM ? It will probably solve your problem. (wipe all)

No I did not. I'm going to re-flash tonight (when I come back home and after my 5-years old son will sleep - no possible to do anything before that )
Should I make all wipes? Factory, cache and DALVIK? I'm aksing becouse one time when flash ICS (that was CNA) I did all wipes (with DALVIK) and I had bootloops and big problem to do anything, even Odin did not help. luckily after few trials (switch off/on, remove battery, remove ext SD, remove SIM etc) Odin recognized my Phone and I flashed stock GB.
I think DALVIK was a reson, but maybe I'm wrong

Wipe Dalvick cache
Format system/
You souldn't have bootloop

To reflash, go to this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1793511) and download the newest release 10/09/12 from the second post by TheWhisp. Then, boot into CWM (home+power buttons when you boot). Clear Data and Cache from the main menu. (OPTIONAL: Clear Dalvik Cache and Battery STATS from Advanced menu.) then select install zip from sd card>choose zip from sd card>(choose the zip). Following that, wait for the update to finish installing, then install GAPPS if you want to. If you don't want to, just reboot from the main menu by choosing the first option. Wait for the boot to finish and that's all.

Can you tell me a way to go into CWM Recovery? I am unable to go in. If I press the power button, it just reboots. Doesnot give me any instruction.
I can go into download mode though. I do have odin V1.85 and Abys kernel. But I forgot how to flash it and go to recovery mode for that kernel.
UPDATE: found a way to go into recovery Mode.. installing the ROM again. Fingers crossed.
Its back now... restoring my google back up
I went into recovery, updated the ROM and flash gapps-jb-20121212-signed.. these where in the [ROM][CM10.1][4.2.1] Cyanogenmod 10.1 Unofficial Nightlies portal by chasmodo.
No idea if updating with new gapps did the trick or what. Any guesses.

or boot into recovery and go to mounts &storage and choose Mount USB storage. Connect to PC and see if it shows up. then proceed

Many of us are facing this problem where after flashing a 10.2 ROM and rebooting, the device is stuck at boot screen- the Samsung N7000 screen!
This is a strange problem which seems to be affecting only some n7000 handsets as others can keep flashing the ROMs without any issues...wiping, reflashing ROM, etc doesn't work!
I myself faced this problem on almost all custom CM 10.2 Roms and am sharing the solution which worked for me. At the onset, this solution was suggested to me by another member @Super Prince in one of my posts and it worked!!
1. Reboot into recovery
2. Flash the correct gapps once again
3. Reboot
The problem should be gone now and no more stuck-iness for you...

Which CM version are you on? This method has worked for me every time on CM 10.2 roms and official CM 10.2 gapps (the one dated 13/08/2013)
I used to get stuck on the GT N7000 screen after every reboot and resorted to all sort of stuff like reflashing, formatting and stuff but to no avail.
The only solution that worked for me was re-flashing the gapps!
Maybe you should try once again with the official gapps..and post your results.

I'm on Carbon, but I tried another CM based ROM as well and it did not work.
I will try it with the official Gapps and Slim Gapps then report back.
EDIT 1: Well. I tried the lastest Carbon nightly 10/17, with both Slim Gapps and normal regular Gapps and the same result, stuck on boot logo.
Both times I flashed a clean install. I'm out of options now.
EDIT 2: When I'm using a kernel from 4.3 and I'm on CWM trying to format Preload, I always get this message:
E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p12
Error formatting /preload
Could that be a possible reason?, does anyone else have that same message?
No suggestions?
Am I'm stuck on 4.2?

It's the same for all on the new Cwm. Preload cannot be formatted in Cwm 10.2.

I tried that last night actually, clean flash and no Gapps and the same result, stuck on boot screen.
What I've tried so far:
- Flashing different 4.3 ROMs with three different Gapps combinations.
- Flashing Carbon with no Gapps.
Thank you in advance for any ideas you can provide.
I have never encountered such an issue after a clean flash ever. So not sure what's going on there.
When a clean install, do you format system, data and cache and then install the new rom?

Yeah, what I do is to do a factory reset twice, then clear cache, then preload twice, data once, system twice and dalvik twice, and only then I flash the ROM and then Gapps.
I let it settle for one hour and then I start the configuration.
It is weird, because if I leave it to boot up normally for the first time, without opening any apps or configurations, it reboots normally. And only when I open Settings or an app, and then I reboot the phone, it gets stuck on the boot logo.
I've even tried to format the SD Card and no difference.

@SirRhor Please try anothjer work-around before you do anything else:
1. Do all the wipes from a safe kernel
2. Flash Rom (only rom and no gapps)
3. Reboot the system without gapps
4. Now, reboot into recovery (I prefer to leave the system for 10-15 minutes to settle down before rebooting)
5. Flash the correct gapps
6. Reboot and set up ur google account etc.Restore apps or whatever u need from the play store. Dabble with rom settings
7. Reboot!

maybe your bootloader corrupted already. Reflash the bootloader only or whole stock rom using ODIN may help ..
I'm glad to inform you that I was able to solve my problem following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2427569
But instead of flashing the Stock Rooted ROM using Odin, I just flashed it within Philz Recovery.
Right now I'm changing settings and restarting on Carbon 4.3, and so far I have not had any problems.
To anyone experiencing this, just read this thread so you will not waste your time trying ALL the bullcrap I did and instead just try the guide above.
Thank you for everyone who helped me out.
EDIT: Maybe the OP can change the title of this thread to "FIXED" or "SOLVED".

Actually, I found a better more permanent solution.
Follow this guide to check for errors on the different partitions:

Let me know if it helps.
And to answer your question, I flashed a stock ROM from Hungary I think, no problems.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, instead of using the switches described on that guide, I used -f and -y at same time.

Hey there, I registered because i recently bought a used galaxy i9000.
It came with the 2.3.6, so I wanted to upgraded it, so I had to use this custom rom's, which I've never heard about before.
After some research i decided to use the Mackay_ROM_4.1.7 to upgrade my phone, but after i did it, some problems appeared:
-The Play Store disapeared; (Meanwhile I was able to fix this error)
-It's always appearing this message on the screen "Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped."
Is there a way to change to another ROM?
If yes, is there any way to fix these problems without need to change the ROM?
I would appreciate your help and opinion.
Thanks!
And sorry for my bad english and all my questions, I am kind of a noob in these things
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile I was able to fix both errors.
1- I fixed the google play store problem by trying with another "gapps" file, the first one maybe was corrupt.
2- The other error I fixed it by doing a factory reset

Clear data of Camera and Gallery (they're seperate on Kitkat), or push another apk from another rom to see kf there is any difference. Also try apps from the market like Focal

Hi to all
I'm using this rom but unfortunatelly when i try to pair the phone in BT with the "car" (spleakers, rubrica...) i get an error, a force close (on the mobile) and often an "unable to update the data" ....
Someone can help me?
Thank you in advance
