Hm. just as I thought. Send my your systemui and framework-res I'll merge the layouts for S-Advance and restrict S Advance from using Ace II's layouts. Try deleting all layout folders inside the apk using 7zip/winRAR.. try to see if the theme will still apply.
The lockscreen really acts that way since it was only images of the lock icons that were changed. Try doing the same without the mod and you'll see. The lockscreen images were not really made to have more frames (thus, the "lag") but "adding frames" makes the animation/effect significantly shorter.

When I soft rebooted my phone after installing applying the s4 theme i get bootloop. Is there another alternative rather than erasing the layout folder? Because I really want to have the theme in 100%.

How to install:
-You Need unlocked bootloader and CMW or variant on your device.
-first install a V20x KDZ variant.
-install SuperUser and CMW using a AIO tool
-reboot to recovery
-Factory reset
-wipe /data /cache and dalvik cache
-go to your SD card, find the .ZIP of the ROM, and flash it!...
-After that fix permissions...
-Let te ROM sit for 10 mins, put your Google acount in, reboot, after reboot start intalling al your apps, when you done reboot and fix permissions... and you're ready to go..
PD: most of this methods are not needed at all, you can flash this rom with your normal method, this is only the method that i use normally to flash any rom!

PD: I deleteded Google music and DSP Manager, even with the stock Music APP the sound is a lot more louder and richer than the stock based rom, i must say it sound almost like my 5th gen ipod classic without external DAC....
Also, it doesn't have Google now, just delete the stock Google search app, and download Google search from play...
this rom is based on V20C with stock kernel, also custom stock based kernels will work, i have tested, PH85, Iodaks and EternityProject and all work great so far...
I will try to upload the ROM with some changes this week... Without the Chinese apps, and some other funcionalities...
If you have battery drain and don't use Gtalk, donwload "DisableService" and stop it from the app, also there is some other service that you can use, also use "greenify" and "Root Uninstaller" to uninstall some system Apps, and re-install them like User Apps to make "greenify" work on that apps...

Glad that you made this thread, it's a great rom, have been using it for a week now.
Was myself planning to make this thread but you beat me to it.
Apart from all the features mentioned in the OP there are other features too such as using the volume keys to wake the device, I have stopped using my power key to lock the device since I installed this Rom.
The original thread also has mods for improved gaming and transparent status bar but I was not able to download them even after registering on their website. Maybe some one from here can try it.
All in all a great rom and perfectly stable. I am keeping an eye on the original thread for the upcoming updates to this already awesome rom.

battery in this rom is almost the same as stock on my device, 14 hours total with 3 hours of screen... Maybe it can reach 4 and a half hours of constant use, i'm using Iodaks kernel on it...

There's a problem with contacts not showing in messaging and call logs, just the phone number. Had this issue before and thought a data wipe would fix. On this ROM sadly not I can "add" the existing number via the log/message and it will show, anyone got a more permanent solution?

Successfully flashed this rom....I dont know why its not as fast as stock...Maybe because it still got the bloatwares...

Ok great... fro gapps i thinks the most important it's the "Play store"..... it's ported 4 month ago and i thinks there exist some method for updated the gapps like launch the old apps or using the play store... it's right ?

Or you can flash the last Gapps for GB or look for the last Play Store in Internet and replace it

Installation Procedure
Make sure you are either on any KitKat ROM (CM11, etc) or on 4.2.2 TW based ROM and NOT on 4.1.2 TW based ROM
Download the latest build
Download Gapps
Take a nandroid backup
Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
Flash ROM using latest ClockworkMod recovery
Flash Gapps
Reboot.

Thanks again, looks cool so far, 1 minor issue it uses slim camera which won't allow you to select auto focus.

This Rom: wow, wow, wow, WOW!
Carbon meets Pac-rom and I guess what we get is C-Rom! This rom is amazing, packed with features. It even contains both the Carbon performance app as well as Kernel tweaker, which could be a bit dangerous but it's nice to see so many options and features! Did I already say wow?
For anyone who is a fan of Carbon Rom, I would HIGHLY recommend you check this out. Just gave it a quick peek, everything seems to be fine. Going to install it with Gapps and f4ktion kernel now and give it a proper test drive.
Just one question, what is that message icon thing at the top of the notification panel? It doesn't seem to do anything..

@Silesh.Nair: Thank you for all the hard work you put in our device. I currently use RR but i;m always glad to see new ports for our Samsung.

Totally awesome rom, has got everything I need in a rom I used to be a big fan of pac rom but this blows it away.

I'm very happy with this rom, runs very smoothly, it has a great performace and a lot of features, now I'm serching new themes for the newest feature (new engine CM theme manager) in the market but only found simple themes....

Hi again! Testing the rom I found two small failure; there isn't init.d folder in system-etc, kernel tweaker app don't works correctly when you apply his tweaks. I use universal init.d app and works good now.
And lock screen wallpapers in themes dont work for me too.

Confirmed. I will fix it in the next build. In the meantime, you can just create the init.d folder under /system/etc folder.
I also read a post on their Google plus page saying not to use kernel tweaker in v6.4.
