Here i share on "how to" without modding your systemui and android.policy.jar

* Requirements
1. Rooted Device
2. Brain & Brave
3. Xposed Installer - can get it HERE
4. Xposed Tweakbox - can get it HERE
Let's do it
Download and install Xposed Installer together with Xposed Tweakbox,
Open Xposed installer
Press on INSTALL UPDATE and allowed SUPERUSER/SUPERSU
Press on MODULES
Tick on box and press on Xposed Tweakbox then press on Statusbar
Also tick on box and press Background Color and the statusbar is (black) color - see arrow
Now set the transparency percent - see arrow / then press - Press on color to apply
Then it will look like this, and also can set the color for clock
DONE.
REBOOT YOUR DEVICE

Try to change your current launcher..see if that work..
Apex, Nova, Holo, ADW..
Those launcher support transparent statusbar.

@Dzol Cp Thanks for this but i have one query that Cm10 & Cm10.1 have theme system by default. so after install above things we can change status bar transparent(if we r on system default theme) but what if we apply themes of Cm10 or 10.1 coz every theme has its own status bar theme like HTC v5 & MIUI v5 Cm theme has its own Dark Grey status bar so if we apply Cm themes and then if we try to change statusbar transparency so could it change below im giving one example ss of HTC v5 Cm10.1 Theme & its Statusbar

Yes Sir, this is for System Default theme, and just a few CM10/10.1 Theme chooser support transparent statusbar,,
i know all themes apk got it's own custom statusbar background , this is also for Non CM Rom like Rooted Samsung stock and Rooted Sony stock Rom, working like a charm.. :victory: for transparent statusbar..

Edit- well it worked but I messes the ui too much the clock now has a big gap between the edge of the screen and it removes the screen animation when turning it off.

several launcher are not compatible with transparent status bar including default launcher on emanon. i have tested and transparency appears with zeam launcher, adw and go launcher, as such please check your launcher if there is dedicated setting option as i find in go launcher, there is high quality drawing that must be activated to enable the transparent status bar.

extract the framework-res.apk , and find the icon that u want to change, see the name of the icon that u want 2 change, rename the ribbon icon same as the default icon, overwrite then, rebuild your new frameworkres.apk.

Todays brings a new theme for Theme Chooser , I love the new sony honami style, I tried to change almost all the framework.
I managed to make animations in check / radio , not the same behavior of honami framework... but looks well.
i made for my personal use, tested only with Xperia Z PAC-Rom ( CM10.2) ( this is why i make the thread here ) .
really was not all my idea, I take some concepts from Rizals lovins Xperia Theme & Holo Glass theme & mixed with new honami things

Xperia Stock theme engine don't allow to do this.....
Maybe in stock with Xtheme engine for Xposed framework.... But need port and some specific device redirections.

I installed this and it works well on cm10 Asylum ROM. The only thing I can see it hasn't themed is my battery icon. It still shows the cm battery. Thanks

Being as I really like this theme I decided to adapt it for the Xposed Xtheme engine.
Works a treat on Pabx Aosp rom..
I've not changed anything, including the appname or details internally

thanks glad you like it ... yes this is the intended icons ( XXHdpi same stock Sony) but if I gets free time for this. I going to update with Xhdpi resources and maybe hdpi.... but I don´t know when...
how to reduce icons ? you can with photoshop or gimp ( or specific software for resize ) is really easy to changes images in APK´s without decompiling...

- You need a rooted phone to use this theme with Jelly Bean (that's a must)

I tried to find a way to do that, but it seems that the status bar circle battery color uses the default holo blue,
and I can't change it to white because it would break the title text colors on holo white windows

I can't flash a 4.2 ROM as it is incompatible with my phone. tried installing 1.28, reboot. Uninstall, reinstall, reboot but it's still the same. I'm gonna test your new release now. If it still doesn't work. Well I guess it's really rom compatibility issue.

Just got a bug in the emergency dialer.
The number 1 and 0 are bigger compared to the other and also have that __ line after them.
Its not a major issue but just wanted to report it so the theme can be perfect.
I guess its because these numbers don't have any alphabets following them so leave a void space for that underline.

But one sucks - there is no cyrillic symbols into dialer =( Can you realize this? You can do separate resoursce for cyrillic (russian, ukranian, and other) dialer, how it was done into Betterbean themes.

But your theme is suffering from the same problem all other themes have as well On Cyanogenmod there are H / H+ icons in the Quick Settings panels, but every theme I try does not show these.
It should look something like this:
But instead, it shows icons like this:
At this point it shows a H+ in the status bar, but the Quick Settings panel then shows a brown 3G icon.
Would you be able to take a look at this?

I think, this trouble of your ROM, your radio or your cellurar operator. For me (and others) all OK.
PS: You might want to change the first screenshot about the warning, because the error messages have changed: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/54714/

I am using CyanogenMod 10.2, when I use the System theme, I see H icons, but when I apply any KitKat theme, I see a 3G icon.
Icons are in the theme, not in the radio/cellular operator files. So I thought, it must be the theme.....
I am using a SGS2 which needs HDPI icons. I think that is the problem, because when I apply the theme, I get a warning about missing assets for my resolution.
I will wait to hear what the developer will say about this...

This is theme KITKAT, and it would be blue, not white. Use themes with white bars, not this.

This time as a theme!
A lot of SystemUI modifications like white battery icon, clear recents icon, KitKat FlipSettingsUI, no theme has done this before!
Not recommended for Xperia Z users as the flashable zip is better!

Xperia Air AOSP.apk (You might face some install loops when applying the theme, so just reboot and clear cache in recovery)

nope it doesn't i tried it just now on fw: 569 odexed.
i had no buttons and alljust the launcher nothing else

I did as instructed.. But couldn't get it to work.. No transparent status bar and nav bar as in the screenshots.. Everything else (theme, kitkat icons) works.. I'm on eXistenZ v6.. Am I missing anything ?

I am using it.. I tried using your kitkat theme only (not the mod).. Couldn't get it to work either.. Anything to do with gravity box ?

Can you change the colour in the action bar in apps like Root Explorer (as in the screenshot) from pink to blue (like in the settings).

I dont have a unlocked bootloader to flash CM 11. Im only temp rooted pie. Is there anything i can do to get this? I was able to install this but not open it. I have the wallpaper already from something else. Im on 4.4.2
Not showing under Themes. Galaxy Note 2 CM11 4.4.2. Anyone else having this problem?
