I use Nova Prime and in Modaco Toolbox settings there is an option to have basically an icon in app drawer that takes you to BlinkFeed if you choose..

If you're stock, you can't remove it, you need to make another screen the home screen.

Blinkfeed is embedded in the Sense launcher. AFAIK, you can't have one without the other.

really?
hmm: you guys can try this:
smali\com\htc\launcher\util\protection.smali
.method public static isFeedEnabled()Z
.locals 1
.prologue
.line 6
const/4 v0, 0x1
return v0
.end method
##################################
so 0x1 is with blinkingfeed, 0x0 will not let you have it.
good luck
Ive searched that in "prism.apk" but dont found that text in the "protection.smali"

Interesting. That is the first I've heard of a blinkfeed killer. If it anyone gets it to work, please confirm. I like Blinkfeed, but it would be good to know.
What would happen if i were to uninstall blinkfeed apk and all other assoiciated with it using titanium backup?

Blinkfeed in embedded into Prism.apk which is the sense launcher (used to be called rosie) and the problem here is how to remove blinkfeed from the sense launcher, means how to keep using Prism but without blinkfeed.
PS: I searched for the text posted by OPB in Protection.smali and didn't found it (checked in 4.1.2 Prism and 4.2.2 as well)

That's the right guys, but again - it seems dead. The last posts in that forum are dated for the end of May, before the thread on this site was declared abandoned. Many of us have been watching this for a long time, and it really doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

What about the launcher? It's just a launcher right? Like any launcher should just work. I can understand the rest of the parts being a problem but a launcher is just a launcher right? If not than maybe someone can clarify why

If I recall correctly, the launcher is baked into Sense, and Sense 4 uses a different framework than previous versions of Sense (You need the proper framework to have it work).
IMO, Sense 3.6 is ok. Only some "little" things diferent between 3.6 and 4.0 Like
-Transparent Notification Bar.
-Background color in Settings.
-Flip-style "windows feel" task manager
In this box, we easily find the transparent mod, and flip-style task manager.

Thanks for clarifying that. My flyer is similar with its sense 1.1 for tablets. Several people been trying to sense strip it but some things can't be changed such as the lock screen and menu colors due to framework differences

Rooting wouldn't cause blinkfeed to disappear, are you using a different launcher such as Apex,Nova,ADW?

Am I missing something here or does the 4.2.2 really not have widgets on the lockscreen?

Sent from my HTC_PN071 using Tapatalk 2
Thanks to HTC, no. We have to wait for someone to make it so we can flash the stock 4.2.2 lockscreen. People in the ARHD thread got it to work by renaming or removing the HTC lockscreen apk but supposedly some could add widgets and some couldn't. That thread moves way to fast so I can't find any of the info for that now so have no idea how to get it to work or if it really does work.

I have renamed the lockscreen and now I have stock. But I can't add widgets to it. I saw some people on the arhd thread who can ....
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
It's ridiculous that HTC didn't add this option.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
for some reason if you dirty flash from a 4.1.2 ROM to a 4.2.2 one you get the ability to add lockscreen widgets to the stock lock screen (which you get by deleting HtcLockscreen.apk)
I suspect HTC removed whatever bits of system ui from 4.2.2 that supported them, and dirty flashing is the only way (so far) to get those bits.
Do they work on stock lockscreen?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
And I thought Samsung's implementation of Lockscreen widgets was dumb... at least they can do it. Bad HTC, that's a very bad HTC. I'm gonna get a rolled up newspaper.

Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
Mine works. I just flashed the 4.2.2 rom TWICE, then deleted HTCLockscreen.apk (or add a .bak to the end of it) and it worked. I went back to 4.1 right not so I don't have a screenshot, but it did work for me.
HTCs lockscreen system is bad enough already. You can't even have a different wallpaper than your home screen unless you are willing to lose out on the function of the other lockscreens. God forbid us being able to have a different wallpaper AND having notifications on our lockscreen. I really hope someone works on this. Because from what I can tell torxx and mike couldn't really care less widgets on the lockscreen. Torxx just told me to use something like widgetlocker but that thing causes lag sometimes and mike says he hates lockscreen widgets period.

Hello everyone, there is a way, or a mod that can add more than 5 panels on the homescreen on ARHD 20.1 with jb 4.3 and sense? I know that with a mod on 4.2 was possible, but for the new android release i found nothing.

yes, there is. have downloaded it, works perfect
It has been launched in the ARHD-Thread about three days ago. Try searching there. Will have a look myself. Problem is, the thread is growing with incredible speed ...
edit: Probably understood something wrong. What are you searching exactly? More than 5 icons on the dock of your homescreen? Or more than 5 pages?
