How to keep navigation bar buttons and change theme - Nook HD, HD+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just recently got a cm 10 touchwiz theme and I didn't really like the theme but I loved the wa
y my navigation bar looked. I was wondering if I could change the theme but keep the look of the navigation bar, if you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a picture.

I'd like that too. I'm on Darky's and the bar is all black, flat, makes the screen look smaller. I'd love to see a hint of the wallpaper through that...

Transparent Notification Bar?

Has anyone figured out how to make the top notification bar transparent? Like Windows 7 Aero for example.
Thanks

Thanks.
I went on the site and enabled transparency and read this:
"if your ROM does not supports transparency -you will not get transparent background."
Does Mosaic III Diet support it?!
You're running Mosaic II which is JVH right? It's SystemUI.apk/res/drawable-hdpi/statusbar_background.9.png
It doesn't really do much just having it transparent like you'd think because the screen area that's used is all below that. Unless something else is modified, wallpaper is cut off right there. You can see the notification tray slide under it and animation effects under it though. That bad thing is the date and notifications use the same image so when they pop up, they're transparent as well and are supposed to cover up the icons on the left, so it slides up this half wide bar that show the icons behind it and that part is 2x as opaque (2 transparencies overlayed) so you can where it cuts off.
Samsung Roms don't support it for the reasons stated above. I have only seen this be able to be don't in HTC based Roms as they support it

Changing status bar color

Hi guys,
I am using motorola milestone with official 2.2.1. I want to change my status bar colour to black. Please anybody tell me the procedure or point me to the right thread.
Thanks

Maybe a theme for adw launcher could make the status bar. I'm guessing you want to get the gingerbread effect on froyo.

Oled issue

My note is a year and half old. I was testing my oled and discovered that the status bar area is bleached out. Now its not very prominent but is there a way i can hide my status bar??? So that i may not have a persistant and permanent status bar band.
This bleaching is prominent when i am in Landscape mode. Its on the left, still not prominent enough to bother me. But i need advice...

I use a adw launcher to hide my status bar for the very same reason.

I actually found a mod for the black status bar for official jb and it worked really well. Since then my status bar is just all jet black. Right now I am using cm10 because my phone got real slow on the official ROM. So here there is no such status bar problem.

[Theme CM10]Froyo

I have been using this froyo theme for awhile on both cm10.1 and 10.2 and i love it.
you will want to install projectretro_v1.3.apk and projectretro_percentage.apk.
If you are running cm10 I'd assume you know how to change themes and change the battery icon in the status bar, but if not here is what you need to do.
go to
system settings>themes .. apply the theme
then
system settings>system>status bar>battery status style ........change the battery style icon to "Icon"
Love the theme. I never had a chnce to see froyo bcoz its already in gingerbread when i start using android phone. Nice theme, thanks for sharing.
