Hi,
after flashing the CWM Recovery System (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012738) to a ROOTED, but bootloader-LOCKED Xperia T everything worked, but:
- WiFi ist broken. It does connect to my LAN, the Phone shows up in the network if I do a scan, it respondes to ping, but I dont get any internet connection?!?
- From time to time I get some unstable responses from the UI (taskbar).
It's the NEW phone of my wife, I need to fix the WiFi...
PS:
Tried also this package:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2007741
And I tried the CWM removing tool:

Nothing helped

I'm not able to post in the xda xperia T forum.
After flashing the CWM OTA update isn't possible anymore.
Would be nice to find a solution WITHOUT loosing all my stuff/new install after flashing a new firmware.
fixed it via update via pc with sony update service to GB and re-root with bin4ry.

Hi,
I am not able to update my XZ to the latest .244 firmware. Here are some info of my Phone.
1) locked bootloader (it is unlockable)
2) current on .423 firmware.
3) rooted
4) install superSU (with survival mode on)
5) install OTA rootkeeper.
I saw some post stating that they are able to keep root after OTA, so i am hoping to keep my root too after OTA.
please advise.
I have exactly the same problem. Cant do OTA and im states scared to update through PC companion since my friend bricked up the phone.

Are you running stock .423 odexed? I had this issue when I flashed a deodexed ROM then tried OTA update

Hi,
It is not possible to do a OTA Update after deleting one or more system apps (even stuff like partnerbookmarks).
There are, however, 2 ways to get the Update.
1.) Follow some of the instructions here like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287149
There are some other ways posted here at xda. They use the flashtool to flash current firmware.
2.) Use Sony PC Companion, this will work ALWAYS,but: Root will be gone. U can use Doomlords rooting method to get Root again:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405
Good luck

PC Update will never fail, the only thing is that you lose root access, which can be easily recovered though.

Hi mate, dont panic. Just follow the instructions on how to flash a stock firmware with flashtool. This is already described here at xda, try searching for it. It will repair your phone but data may be lost.

bro i dont know for sure . but while powering the phone on keep pressing vol up botton or down button. thats the way we enter cwm recovery.
hope this works for stock recovery also. but i dont think there is recovery mode without installing cmw or twrp.
Xperia doesn't have stock recovery like Samsung phone
The best way to wipe everything is using Sony Update Center
Choose software repair and reset everything

Well, if you come from Samsung phone, you probably asking a same thing
=)
This is not about rooting or not, but give a answer for best solution
=)
Of course, if your device rooted, it's simple as having a recovery
=)

Yes, you can
But you will wipe all data in your phone, except for sd card
Yes, Samsung Kies is same with Sony PC Companion, Sony Update Center for software upgrade or software repair
You can check this

I need serious help here guys. I have now updated my phone twice to the new Jelly Bean 4.3 ending in 136... every time I used PC companion and every time everything seemingly went well.
Every time it did a long boot and every time it said it was successful, but it still has the version ending on 290 when I go into my settings.
Ive reset and tried switching it off for a while it just won't change.
What is going wrong? Thank you!

Hi there... right so I have first tried to repair my phone, but still the new update just will not load.
I am now going to try your advice, but I have never flashed a phone in my life. I am reading how to do it now. I have downloaded the Emma flashtool, but now have to unlock my bootloader - I have heard previously that this breaks the camera... will my camera break when I do this?
Thank you.

You have to use Flashtool v9.14, not Emma, and flash the latest .136 FTF from Here for your Model only, you don't have to Unlock Bootloader, you phone will be just fine and your Warranty will not be voided.
Turn Off your phone, keep pushing volume down and connect via usb the phone to PC, keep holding volume down all the time, let windows install drivers for flashmode, open Flashtool, before that put the FTF .136 in flashtool folder, now click Flash on flashtool and select the right FTF, uncheck everything except Wipe Data, Appslog, Cache, now click Flash, Hold volume down until the green bar of the process will start at the bottom, now you can leave your phone alone. Done.
i dont know why my xperia t continuosly reboots itself....i tried to flash stock 4.3 firmware but still reboots.. i wanted to try to repair it with sony pc companion 2.1 but unfortunately it doesnt recognize my phone (i really dont know why) . i have windows 8.1 pro...

Hmm coincidence it is that I have the same name.
Back ot:
Try removing 1 or both and see if the reboots are still happening. I had the same issue with mine and it is a factory stock phone. No provider brand and non rooted.
And magically after the 4.3 update it began with sudden reboots(with the message sim/USIM removed). Within a matter of days 2 or 3 they became that frequent that I removed my sim and that's also when the reboots stopped.
Called the provider and told them my sim caused the phone to reboot somehow after it got updated. They sent me a new one @ no costs.
Put the new one in and till today no reboots. Think that is about 1 or 2 weeks ago.

Just tried with only sim, then only sdcard, and without both of them. Still reboots. I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DOOOO!!
Have you treid diffrent FTF files? 4.1.2 (.145) for example? Or 4.3 (.199 or .205).

I tried all 4.3 firmware versions, still reboots itself... 4.1.2 not yet will try tomorrow..
If you've tried different firmwares, and android versions. With/without sim/SDcards. You may have some faulty hardware.
Is your bootloader unlocked, have you tried any AOSP derived ROMs?

Try a 4.1.2 firmware for a few days, if the problems persist then it must be hardware related so you'd need to send it for repair.
remove sim and then have a try.I just had the same problem three weeks ago.

Yea. Always been locked bootloader. Tried this with testing this without root (i think), because this rebootings happened when i had root, then i flash 4.3 stock thinking that flashing another fw will delete root also, am i right? Before this rebooting problems i had tried some xposed modes and made some soft reboots, dont know if it is that the problem.
If you read my previous post, i didnt know what he meant with that app?
