[Q] Flashed HTC One to Cricket...MMS not working. - Sprint HTC One (M7)

So everythings working fine but MMS on the stock messaging app.
Some of the other messaging apps in market seem to work fine but I want to use the stock one.
When I open the app and look at MMS settings theyre SPRINT...figure I need to change these but not sure what to switch them to.
Im running Viper Rom, not sure that matters...
Any help on what these settings need to be is awesome!

You have to edit then in data menu

Receiving MMS

Anyone shed some light on why mms comes through as a link to viewmymessage.com. They always seemed to download fine on my tilt.
I am running phoenix ultimate but this isn't due to the rom imo

I know this is a pointless reply but since I have had my captivate that had not happened to me a single time. Did you check your settings in your messaging app and make sure auto retrieve is checked. Thats the only thing I can think of.
Everything seems in order there. IDK... <sigh>

Yeah sounds like something is wrong in your settings. Check your messaging app settings, (what messaging app are you using) and your apn settings to make sure they are right.

[Q] Can't change default dialer

I'm using Gingervolt rom 1.3 on my phone and I can't change the default dialer. I download Go contacts ex, and exdialer But I can't launch by default.
I have gone in to app and clear the default for default dialer still no luck.
Anyone has any idea.
Many Thanks.
Go into stock contacts.apk and clear defaults

Did you ever get this fixed?
Nop still not resolved
I am having bad lag on the dialer. Would another dialer app correct this? I have shirtcuts to the people I call the most set up and sometimes it takes about 30 seconds for the dialer to kick in after touching the contact.

I use go dialer with go contacts on Zeam launcher. I have the action bindings set to open dialer on double tap of the home screen. I've only ever set defaults on first launch though so I can tell you it works just not how to get there from stock. So, not so helpful.. Lol

Instead of clearing defaults for Contacts.apk, try clearing defaults for Phone.apk. Not sure if that will help but you never know. Let me know if it works!
I have the same problem with htc one x, after choosing the default dialler I cannot change it - clear default is greyed out. In fact I removed all the defaults, still no luck.

Can't open links in sms application?

Got a bit of an odd one for you guys. My girlfriends phone has exactly the same set up as me (phone rom kernel) but I have no issues at all. No matter what I do I cant open links from within her messages app (phone numbers / web addresses ect ) If I use a third party app like handscent it works fine but tbh I would much prefer the stock app. I have tried fresh installs, updates clearing data ect but no luck. Just about to try a completely different rom with a modded messaging app to see if it works. Any ideas?
Ended up just using a 3rd party sms application as it seems I am the only one with this issue. No issues after go sms install

If you look like on the xda portal... You'll find the way to take out htclinkify...
I would assume it has to do with that...

CM mms.apk

I pushed the cm10.1 apk to system/app fixed permissions and everything works good. Except for sending pictures it just stays on sending and it never sends. I can receive just not send. Anyone know how could I fix it or there's no fix?

I'm guessing you're saying the CM10 MMS apk? If so, see if you can customize the MMS settings. The settings you want to look for should configure what server the messages go over. I'm not too sure if that setting is within the app itself.
I know I had to do this on an AT&T phone like some years ago. I'm not too sure where you would find these "settings". I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific. I think what you want to search is Tmo MMS Settings, or something of that sort.
But like I said, I think that's already handled outside the app, but you can still look.
Yeah its the cm10.1 mms apk I want to use and not the sense mms apk. I checked in the settings but can't seem to find anything. When I switch it to the sense mms the pictures work fine. But then I push the cm10.1 apk and pictures don't send

It's a framework issue. Since cm10.1 uses 4.2 it handles MMS differently since it supports group messages. You'll need to mess with the framework, or find somebody who can, to get it working.

Google launcher not working on HTC one

Can Antone out there help me get the Google launcher, gallery and camera working properly? I've tried a few fixes on this site and others for the launcher but none work for me although some HTC one owners are reporting no problems.
When I try open the launcher app it crashes right away. I've changed the defaults and put in a new sys/lib file also but still just crashes on start.
Camera works as well as video but crashes when I try use pano or photos here. The gallery app same. Crashes on start. Please help if u can. Thanks

What ROM/Kernel are you using? Are you rooted? That sounds like the kinda errors I get when I flash a new base without wiping.
I'm rooted but not on a custom ROM. And I didn't flash anything just installed the apk files. It works perfect on my galaxy S2 although the OK Google voice search only worked for a day. But won't work on my one. ?? I really want it on my one though
