I build this AOKP JB 4.2.2 for our beloved Galaxy Grand I9082
this should work on I9082L too.
Now all basic things works as phone...so status changed to beta
I just started building it from source. I am very much new to aokp building.
So please be patient.
I am working on bugs but i can't guarantee them to be solved.
please report bugs in detailed manner means what action caused the bug??is it reproducible?? and include full logcat in your posts.

It becoz ...it just won't boot...may be due to modem and boot loader incompatibility

So isn't their any choice rather than to reflash the entire 4.1.2 ROM through Odin ?

i will see if i can fix the outgoing calls !!
and also the gaming is very smooth

@k2wl and @chotu222 Cant we take a look at some of the roms made for micromax cavas hd? They have both sims working on a custom rom based on CM source. Maybe ya'll could figure out a workaround from it.

New milestone released for AOKP. after a very long time AOKP has updated to a major milestone. Try building this ROM again from the updated sources. Who knows, the bugs might reduce.

Clean Installation

3. Back up any and all important data.
5. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE/DATA/FACTORY RESET.
6. WIPE SYSTEM.
7. Flash the ROM in recovery.
7.1. DO NOT FIX PERMISSIONS AFTER FLASHING, doing so will cause a bootloop.
8. Flash the GApps.
9. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
10. Reboot Device.
Dirty Flash/Update
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. WIPE CACHE/DALVIK.
3. Install the update zip from recovery.

Selunix is permissive already so i didn't face any network drop bug and sim switching working fine dont know abt 3G switching

yep that bug is on enforcing selinux network drop after call and custom color option for quick settings is not stable too it automatically changes into pure black after reboot doesn't matter what u choose

A very good rom. Try to keep up to date .
We need more updates!

Nice ROM with number of customizations it would have been better if they could have all extra customizations in one separate tab in settings.

OK was using your latest build. Everything works ril works flawlessly. Only two prominent bugs battery stats is broken and GPS doesn't work. Fp will take time to work I think. Anyways probably the most stable build of mm yet.

No,That is a temp fix for the charging bug. Don't make them private please the builds are awesome and I have a permanent fix for the charging bug.

That should be 4000 or 4050. That's what caused the bug. Otherwise everything else works GPS was fixed after a cage wipe. Xposed works as well.

I’m currently trying out Brawn_Sg’s ROM and I’m having problems with GPS. I tried wiping cache from TWRP after installing some applications and it didn’t work. How did you fix it?

I am not sure about rr but tamsaek's cm 13 fixed it for me.

Touchscreen is not working correctly. I could choose my language but when I click Next nothing happens but it looks like the notification bar is opening. Also 50% battery bug is present.

Can you tell me where you got that list and remove it from your post?

did you install banks gapps? For me it did this on initial installation so couldn't get past language selection.
Wanted to try again with banks gapps but if the problem still exists there I will wait until it is sorted.

Yeah.
I ababdoned OctOS building because users was not active in OctOS thread so i consider that my work is not needed.
Also it looks like my AOSCP builds is needed for very small number of people too.
And all this is very sad.

Because there is another thread with same rom.
Probably you can develop more rom. Like Pure AOSP for example.
FYI, i'm one of big fans of AOSP rom. No additional features, no root, no bul****. Just AOSP. Pure rom from google.

Great input...would be lovely if we have pure aosp rom for this device without any add on...just stable rom with every hardware work

I made few fixes for Wi-Fi and GPS.
Also i merged commits by TheStrix with changes for sepolicy, overlay and etc.
Also i synces CypherOS sources.
But i need someone who will test new build with this changes.

Why you not test it first?

maybe you can build Unofficial Dirty Unicorns. man, that rom is very amazing...based on aosp but have many features like cm ????
