exfat/ext file system - Motorola Atrix HD

I was wondering if exfat/ext file system support is implemented on any custom ROM for Atrix HD?
I've formatted my Sandisk UHS1 32gb to exfat, ext2,3,4, ntfs, (would like to store files more than 4gb) but I was unable to mount it. Keeps saying "sdcard is blank or unsupported file system"
Just wondering if there is a work around it.
EDIT: tried the unofficial RAZRQCOM-KANG AOKP and Skilrax CM10.1

Is it possible to format external SD card other than FAT32?

Hi,
I've stock ICS (rooted, with Kowalski kernel M1) on my P990. I've a 32GB SD card, and I wonder if I can mount it automatically with ext4, NTFS of exFAT file system. Currently it only accepts FAT32, anything else will be unmounted automatically.

I know for sure that NTFS does not work.
eXFATshould work... You should check if there are patches for this.
Is your current card with Fat 32 working with Windows PC, this will check if your card is not out of order.

[Q] NTFS file system support

Hello
I'm trying to enable NTFS support on my rooted Xperia V running stock 4.3 android, but none of the play store apps (paragon, stick mount, ntfs mounter etc.) worked.
How can i solve it?
NTFS?
So let me get this straight..
You would like to run a windows file system on your phone?
Or you just want to access your windows computers file system over the network?
If it's the latter then ES file explorer has a more than capable network share connector.
If the former then you will need to look here for the answer.

And Here

Funny what searching the forum shows up.
Thanks.
I just bought a 64 GB SD card and I would like to beat the FAT32's 4 GB file size restriction, but the phone doesn't support ExFAT or NTFS.
When I tried to mount it with paragon, my phone rebooted, than I saw only the sony logo agian and again, the Ntfs mounter force closed, the NtfsSd said, the resource is busy.
(the paragon worked with a pendrive and an OTG cabel, but nothing with the SD card)
I will try the second post, you suggested, thanks once again.

Link2SD Error: cannot mount SD card partition: with Night Owl CM12.1 on GT N-7000

I am using Night Owl([ROM][CM12.1][Lollipop][Android 5.1.1] NightOwl 20151003) on samsung galaxy Note GT N-7000.
I have partitioned my external SD card (16GB Class10) with AParted (11GB Fat32, 4GB ext2, 512MB Swap).
I was able to use this partition as my internal memory to install apps.
but after flashing this rom I am not able to mount the sencond partition.
Link2SD shows SD card 2nd part not found in the storage info.
When I try to recreate the mount script I get an error
Mount script error
Mount script can not be created
Mount: Invalid argument
Please suggest a way forward.

Not a Note, but had this issue with CM12.1 on a Moto E. Try selecting Ext4 when Link2SD asks what format it is.

Thanks, Jacob but I already tried that and it didn't help
The main prob is about 2nd partition not being detected.
Try uninstalling (make sure everything reverts) and use this link to repartition instead. Link2SD isn't as reliable because of conflicts with the rom.
I've just bought a 64GB Class 10 SD card for my N7000, running the lastest Bauner Nightowl. This is to store mainly mp3 audio files.
Can anyone please tell me how it is best to format it? FAT32, VFAT, something else? Also although I'm happy to keep all the files in one partition, am I better off with additional partitions?

Lineageos 18.1 and exFAT , NTFS, ext4 with external SD

Hi,
I know that for a USB-OTG stick can use Paragon to make exFAT and NTFS work.
How about microSD and exFAT for LOS 18.1 (/e/OS) on S10?
It doesn't work for me and If that doesn't work in general, then I would mind using NTFS or ext4 format.
I've also tried both and it doesn't work when I format it with Linux.
When I format it with Android built in formating option, then it does it with FAT32. I've tried to copy a 8GB File onto the SD and it give's me the impression that it was successful (no error message) when it actually wasn't. This is just a fun fact
My linux refused to copy a 8GB File to SD via MTP. This is how it should be with FAT32.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

Amazon fire Hd tablet 2.15TB sd card. Formating did not erase files.

This is how i was able to set up a 2.15GB SD card in a hd fire 8 plus gen 10.
Bonus: It kept all my files after formatting. Nothing was removed.
First off from what i understand the amazon 8 plus tablets do not support 2TB micro sd cards
Second formatting the SD card should have erased all my data and nothing was.
This has potential to work with other android devices.

I was making virtual machines and other os on my linux pc when i found a junk fire tablet and wanted to mess with it.
I plugged in a random SD card that had been used for one thing or another.
I selected use as external storage and it formated but all my files were untouched.
This sd card had been flashed with Android x86 32bit
I tried to format it with normal fat 32 and it failed multiple times trying to use it with the tablet.
So i flashed it again using linux
dd if= "android x86 32 bit iso" of=/dev....conv=fsync bs=4M
Once again it mounted as external instantly
Next i will test it on my phone
I'm using
SD Memory Card Formatter for Windows/Mac | SD Association
www.sdcard.org
I am about to put an alternate os on one of the cards and swap mounts with my system, vendor, user, boot..everything over and if i cant force mount then i will -loop mount.
Wish me luck
