Okay here, I've modded the lockscreen lock, so it just looks better
I've created zips for ZipThemer, which edit kg_security_lock_normal.png and kg_security_lock_pressed.png in /system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi/
For now this only works on Xhdpi devices (nexus 4, galaxy nexus, galaxy s III...) and ONLY WITH SECURITY LOCK on Android 4.2+!
All Dpi supported!
Requirements:
Android 4.2 or higher
ZipThemer
use ZipThemer if you want to have a flashable backup, metamorph didn't work for me
Download:
http://goo.gl/oLGSo
images/screenshots:
http://goo.gl/3VkYj
Current colors are:
Google Play music Orange
]50% Holo White
Tell me what colors/shapes you'd like and I'll make them!
as always, I take no responsibility to bricked|burning|killing devices (but I will try to help as much as I can)
Happy flashing :good:
Changelog:
Code:
[B]Version 1.0:[/B]
compatible with ZipThemer!, everything should be finally fixed!
file size reduced massively (1.8 MB compared to 0.01MB!!)
[B]Version 0.3:[/B]
(hopefully) fixed a bug when lock didn't change on some devices!
Please tell me if it worked as I didn't have any problems!
And also tell me which lock you like the most, so I can work on that and add different colors!
Added EXPERIMENTAL Zips which use different image sizes from the stock ones. Download from EXPERIMENTAL folder
[B]Version 0.2: [/B]
Added support for all device resolutions!
(ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi)
Added Android Logo icon!
Note: percentages in the name tell you the transparency of the icons! More percentages show a gradient in transparency (from bottom to top)
Colors are in the file name, if there is none, then it's white.
for now there's only white and orange. Tell me what colors you'd like!
Current custom icons are:
android_lock_50% - an android logo lock
android_lock_orange_50% an orange android logo lock
fb-menu-style_50% -a facebook menu style lock
fb-menu-style_orange_50% - orange version
fb-menu-style_25%-50%-75% - a facebook menu style lock with a gradient in transparency
fb-menu-style_75%-50%-25% - same as above but with inverted gradient
fb-menu-style_orange_75%-50%-25% - orange version
fb-menu-style_orange_25%-50%-75% - orange version
lock_arrow_50% - a white up-arrow
lock_arrrow_orange_50% - orange version
lock_circle_50% - a white lock circle
lock_circle_orange_50% - orange version
lock_dots_75-50-25 - cool dots
lock_dots_orange_75-50-25 - orange version
lock_halo-style_50% - Paranoid Android Halo style lock
lock_halo-style_orange_50% - orange version
lock_plus-sign_50% - a plus sign lock
lock_plus-sign_orange_50% orange version

Are you on a custom Rom without Touchwiz?
I will add xxhdpi support soon (in 0.3 update), but not touchwiz because it uses 20 image files for the unlock!

I hope not cause I like the idea!
Tried it on my GT-I9300 (int. S3) and it didn't work. Running Sentinel CM10.1 (4.2.2).
Would like it to see this mod working on my phone!
Thank you.
I'm sorry, I am on vacation right now. It's strange because I've tried it on my nexus 4 with xenon HD rom and on my i9000 with slim bean 4.2.2 and it worked. I will work on it when I'm back home and hope to be able to fix it

Sorry, maybe i didn't write it clearly. It's a ZipThemer Zip now! You have to install ZipThemer from the Play Store and create the flashable Zip with it. This gives more compatibility and less errors. Hope it helped

Note: I would be honored if you include these boots in your themes/ROM's, but PLEASE give me credit and a link to here or my site
Edit 02/10/12: Upon request from mrrick, and with the inspiration of R3D X - the creator of the Lunar UI theme - here is an eleventh boot animation style.

(Looks better on device - gif previews are limited to 256 colors)
Here are ten colors of a boot animation I made for MIUI. Now all are available with and without the MIUI tag on Andy the Android - so every version is available for MIUI regardless of screen size. All ten are available as flashable zips for other ROMs as well, made to 480x800 or 320x480 - shouldn't matter for MIUI themes, but make sure to use the right screen size for flashing method. A couple have been done for 720x1280 by request and are sprinkled through the thread and available at the download page. If you want a flashable zip for another device size, do let me know.
I will upload better previews later - larger versions are at the link below for downloads.
Sorta Matrix-like, I suppose, with the scrolling binary code. These are made from 18 static images with varying layer and opacity styles in Photoshop - I think they'd look really cool with a fly in intro series, but I'm done with animation for the moment. They're packaged for MIUI in theme format - simply upload to the MIUI themes folder and choose the bootanimation from the theme chooser menu. Let me know if you'd like a different color. All three are tested and in working order 1.11.25 MIUI.
All are also available as flashable zip's for a ROM other than MIUI, all are made to 480x800 or 320x480. : I used despotovski01's Boot Animator Creator, which makes the process incredibly simple. That said, I HAVE NOT tested the flashable zips for use on other ROMS, as I am on MIUI. FLASH AT YOUR OWN PERIL. I also cannot guide you through the process, but XDA is a font of info on the subject. As usual, I HIGHLY suggest you Nandroid your shiza before flashing stuff. I left the downloads for non-MIUI versions named individually so you can verify which version you've downloaded - you should rename the file "bootanimation.zip" or whatever is appropriate to your ROM before flashing or pushing. Check your phone's thread for details.
If you like what I have done and would like to show your gratitude, Leo is pretty hungry...
Download the Lunar UI inspired bootanimation from the blog
Download all other versions of the bootanimations from the blog

Edit - ah ha! I see you are maybe on the Optimus V from your sig. That is a different screen size!!! I will edit them for that screen size and post back with updates. As I read on the page linked in the first post, resizing an MTZ for MIUI is fine, but for flashable zips it will not work.
All versions for alt ROMs edited for 320x480 screen size in addition to 480x800

well, guys...we FINALLY finished the multi window mod for P6800 owners (no P6210 for the moment). Below i will provide the link to the rom that u will need to use as well as a link to my original thread with more detailed instructions. I advise that u please at least read the UPDATE V5 section of my thread over in the Tab Plus forums...although the entire first post should be useful. Let me also add that yes...this mod may remove other mods/tweaks that u have installed or that come preloaded with your rom. Over time we will manage to get the best setup for everyone...for now i would advise using the stock rom.
UPDATE V2: This new version doesnt offer any new functions unfortunately...i just threw together another zip which includes all of the apps that need to be replaced so any new flashers wouldn't have the same issues & questions
UPDATE V5: I finally got around to uploading the new version of the mod for your device...please read the V5 section of my orginal thread in the Tab Plus forums. I have linked to a zip which includes apps that will need to be replaced due to force close (almost all stock samsung apps)...also be aware that i MAY need to create a separate version for the P6210 so please test and report). For those of u using the "sky high" rom by @UpInTheAir then u already have the latest version included so no need to flash this....and to everyone else who has not flashed it yet what are u waiting on go try it out!
Install Instructions
1. Install rom using CWM or TWRP (recommended)
2. Edit your build prop by adding the line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 at the very bottom (may also need to change dpi)
3. Flash the V5 file below followed by the forcecloseapps.zip (please note...these files MAY need to be installed manually using TWRP or AROMA)
4. Delete flashbarservice.apk located in system/app (only necessary if coming from V2)

The mod seems to be working in erobot v1 albeit not as well as the phablet version by the looks of it.
The windows can be resized, even though the grey bar isnt there and there doesnt seem to be the ability to have them side by side as they appear to just be floating windows but it works!!
edit: changed the DPI to 213 and it works as it should now but i have no menu buttons, will try some other DPI's

Thank you for all your hard work! You're one of the few I've seem developing for the i9505g.
UPDATE: Its almost midnight here in Hawaii but I wanted to let everyone know I added an extended power menu, removed more junk, deodexed the ROM and centered the clock on the notification bar.
I have a few more edits and then I will upload the file tomorrow night. I may have one more basic update and then I am going to focus on my two other projects for this phone which is a from Source ROM and the TW port to give us some variety.

Thanks for your work on this phone MJHawaii! I am a little disappointed the development for the Google S4 is so little but thanks for supporting it.

I can try fotakill and see if it works or look for another way to disable it
Fotakill does not work / Update
Trying AutoRun Manager see if that works
If your on MH1 baseband is it still pushing the OTA? Mine seems fine

Yes, I am on the MH1 baseband and it showed the update on first boot. I may just restore 4.3 anyway until one of your other ROMs come out. 4.3 runs great for me. Are your in the work ROMs 4.2.2 or 4.3?

I am not getting the update I'm on 4.3 BB. I'm gonna keep trying to push it though not sure why I am not getting it. Can anyone else confirm?
Yes right now I'm working on 2 ROMs one is a TW port and the other is ASOP from source. They are coming along slowly but I can't give any ETA's though but they will come.

Keep up the good work. I don't see anyone else active on the ROM's yet. I was hoping that several people would be active by now on ROM's and kernals too.

That one should work on the GE phones.
For everyone else as to why there is so little ROM dev for the GE S4 it is because you should be able to use any ROM made for the international S4. At least any AOSP/CM based mod.
Google just release android 4.4 , but unfortunately my device ( One X ) not get any custom kitkat build ( still stuck in 4.3 with wifi problems xD ) so i decide to make some "kitkat" look on my 4.2.2 rom .
This is first build, with slightly modification from stock jb ui for some kitkat !
Sorry for my bad english

do this theme support XXHDPI?
This is quite a good theme though the tiles needs to be flattened out. They were like floating 3D Buttons, it should be more simplistic looking.

DESCRIPTION:
With KitKat update, most of the UI changed to white and grey. But still a few parts were left untouched and were still blue. So for those want to have a complete white UI, here I present you a theme, which will kitkatify your device.
Disclaimer: This theme won't make your device look like iOS (who wants that?) but will enhance its beauty by theming the holo blue to white.
REQUIREMENTS:
You need a rom with Theme Chooser Engine for which you must be rooted.
INSTALLATION:
Download the app and install it.
Go to Settings > Themes, select KitKatify.
Hit apply even if it shows any theme error.
Reboot.

CREDITS:
@enricocid - for his tutorial.
@kroz - for his work.
@Gingerbread1611 - for providing mod when I couldn't.
@Diaz1999 - for his trick to change notification background.
FLASHABLE MODS:
I've created this mod for CM M4 build, OmniMetal 0222 build and Vanir too!
NOTE: For Vanir, I've used 0323 nightly build. I'm not sure if it will work on future builds or not, so make sure you've a nandroid backup with yourself.
INSTALLATION:
I've provided two flashable zips - one for those using AOSP apps, and the other one for those using Google Apps. Just flash the one according to the Gapps package you've installed on your rom. There won't be any problem if you flash wrong zip, you'll just have two Camera and Gallery app.
UNINSTALLATION:
Just flash the original rom zip and everything will be reverted back.
DOWNLOADS:
You can find all the flashable zips here: http://goo.gl/TwsdC8

Thanks! And yeah, I'm thinking of creating it as a theme for T-Mobile Theme Chooser. Though I'm not sure about it. Till the time you can use this mod if you're using CM Snapshot build.

I'll have to start from scratch as Omni's resources are quite different from CM. Give me some time, and I'll do it for you.

Also, updated OP with new link and description for OmniMetal.

I would like to create this mod for Vanir too. But as they have only nightly builds, each time you update the rom, this mod will be reverted. And if they change anything (framework, SystemUI) in new update, the mod might not work on the new update.
Still if you want, I'll create the mod for latest nightly. And then you'll have to see if it works or not on new builds.

Are you talking about implementing this mod in the official nightly? If yes, I think it's possible. But I don't know whom I should talk with. Also later they might do it on their own, just like SlimKat and Carbon did.
So let's wait. Till the time you can use my mod.

Yes that's what I meant. I'm just pretty certain their priorities is elsewhere than design. Is it okay if I reference this thread to them?
