So a couple days ago i installed a rom. i cant remember the name of it, but i think it was a stock rom with some adjustments, and it was based on 4.2.2 jellybean. With the rom i also had a kernel and TWRP. it was also rooted and unlocked. the other day i find out that there is a new update to the HTC one, with all downsides about the rom that was before was now fixed, it was also based on android 4.2.2. so i desided that i wanted to get my phone back to stock, everything.
I startedt with a factory reset, then i went into TWRP and wiped the sdcard. (something that i shouldnt have done) this was where my problems started to show up. So at this point in time, i was factory reset, but i was still rooted, unlocked with a kernel. not exactly what i wanted at the first point. while i was trying out the phone, just installing some APK'S and other files i installed snapchat, i loggwed in , and tried to open a videosnap. i couldnt open it because i had no sdcard mounted. i was quite scared and started looking for answeres. NO place could i find an answer to this, and my phone was not working as it should. so i desided to "unbrick". At this point, i had relocked the bootloader. but now i couldnt find the ruu file (my software number is 1.29.401.16) and still cant find that RUU file.
So now i have a phone with the stock recovery, it is unlocked and its based on 4.1.2. i cant update it, i cant use my pohone properly (because of the sdcard not mounted) and i cant relock the bootloader (if i try i just reboot into the bootloader and i cant get out)
there are two pictures as an atttachments showing the phone connected to my PC (cant take screenshots of my phone, because i "dont have an sdcard" allso dont mind the norwegian language)
If there are anyone out there willing to help me i would be thankful, and also dont mind the bad Enlgish, i'm norwegian

Hey there,
I have a HTC One, T-Mob, 1.29.111.16 .
I unlocked, changed recovery and installed the Revolution HD ROM.
After some usage I tried some other ROMs.
Later I had to setup my work email, and asked me that I had to encrypt my phone in order to setup my e-mail.
I encrypted the phone (took about one hour) and asked me to restart. Everything was fine till I rebooted the phone.
After reboot, I started getting android errors ( some services stopped) . It was asking me to enter my encryption pass but the keyboard was dissappering when I try to enter it.
So basicly I wasnt able to use my phone properly no matter what.
As a solution I tried to hard reset the phone from recovery but my sd card became unmountable due to encryption I suppose.
Becase I cant mount my sd card, basicly I cant reset, or throw another ROM onto it.
I tried to find the original RUU (T-Mob 1.29.111.16) but it seems no one have it for download.
How may I solve this problem? ( I tried to change to CID to be able to use another RUU but I cant write a nes CID also, tells me that SD Error)
Cheers...
Hello Good People of XDA!
My friend ran into a problem, with a One M7 he had an International model, and the mainboard died, he figured, let's buy a broken one, and switch mainboards...
This kinda all went well, the thing is, he bought a Sprint one. Phone worked fine, but it had to be unlocked, to use the carriers in here, so he unlocked bootloader, then i installed a recovery for him, over teamviewer.
All was good, i was reading about the details, and next day, he told me, he accidentally deleted the os. tried to do a recovery, but he installed smtg, he thought is a previous recovery.
Phone then said no OS
After fiddling with drivers for a day, i managed to push a rom to the phone with adb, and install it, original Sprint 4.1.2 Seemed to work fine, We managed to sim unlock the phone, from there, it kinda all went downhill.
The OS started to crash, and freeze, so we wanted to reflash it. I told him, to do a factory reset, delete everything, format the phone, we can still push a rom. So that's what he did, factory reset, then deleted cache, dalvik, system, and storage. Pushed the rom, installed it, and it didn't even asked for anything on first start. second start, it fell into a bootloop, so delete everything again, push an Original Sprint 4.2.2 rom. But, the previous files, were still in the phone, regardless the format of the memory... So, my question is, how can i absolutely format everything from the phone, except bootloader?
We need a running rom, to S-Off the phone, so we can change CID and MID for our country. Also, installing with verification, always fails, we tried 6 different roms.
Now, either one is installed, the phone fells into a bootloop, or just hangs in first start.
Thank You guys for your time, and effort in advance!
Hello,
I think I did something really wrong with my Xperia Z. I rooted it a month ago, I have the latest stock rom. Yesterday, I downloaded an app called Flashify on the play store who claimed to be able to flash recoveries and zips directly from phone, as long as it was rooted. I tried to flash the purexaudio mod to my phone, and since then it has become unusable. It first started to be very hot, then laggy, which forced me to shut it down. Now everytime I turn it on, it is usable for barely two minutes, before it becomes really laggy and nothing works or it freezes. Some actions directly crash my phone, such as opening the developers settings. I looked at the RAM usage on the phone's settings and the RAM is filling up progressively until the total 1.8GB of RAM is used and my phone freezes. I really don't know what is causing this.
It gets even worse, as I've managed to factory reset my phone with the sony PC companion, but the problem is still there. I can't access reccovery but I can access fastboot mode. However, neither Flashtool or fastboot command shell will flash a recovery for me (I get an "access denied" error). I can't flash the stock kerne with Flashtooll, I have the message : "Processing of loader.sin finished with errors." (I had this problem when I rooted it but I really can't remember how I fixed it).
I'm really anxious about what I've done with my phone, I hope someone could help me recover my phone as I honestly don't know what to do at this point...
Thank you so much in advance.

Well, that's not weird at all that you're getting "access denied" via fastboot. You said you've rooted your device, but did you unlock your phone's bootloader?

No, I guess I didn't... My bootloader status in Flashtool is : ROOTABLE I'm going to try doing that first. Thank you so much for your fast answer
I have a big problem actually now, as repairing my firmware with the sony software removed the USB debugging option. And opening the "developers settigns" to turn it back on still makes the settings crash. So I have no way of unlocking the bootloader now have I?
EDIT : Okay, nevermind. I managed to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery (Cyanogen recovery). But now I'm on a boot loop (Sony message then Xperia then phone restarts)
What should I do now?
EDIT 2 : Solved the problem by simply wiping all caches/data from my recovery (ended up setting up the more traditional CW recovery) + sideloading a custom ROM (Ultimate PureZ). Now everything's working perfectly.
Thank you again for suggesting to unlock the bootloader, I couldn't have flashed the recovery otherwise. Have a nice day!

You're welcome, but in this case you've made a major mistake - you didn't take TA Partition backup in which all DRM keys are being kept. Now you've erased them permanently, this will cause some stock applications to won't work (camera stabilization and etc.,).
Have a nice day you too

Really? :/ What won't work exactly.?. I bootloaded my phone the official way though...
And BTW that's strange but when I put my SDCard back into my phone it crashed just like before? I guess I should format it?

Guess so. If even will update to earlier version (4.4.x) or later BE2 won't work, as well as camera stabilization (focus, well, it works, but photos are a bit like blured) and some other functions that I don't remember at the moment. It doesn't matter how did you unlock your bootloader, the fact that you've unlocked your bootloader is the most important. I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it (DRM keys recover) at the moment. Maybe in a future there will be found a solution for this, but then our phone, I suppose will be like a nokia 3310 in nowadays.
Btw, you can still get some functions working, just surf this forum for unlocked bootloader functions "Get back" or sth., don't remember thread name either.. :|
Hi Everyone,
First off I am a total novice and I put my hands up to say I should not have tried to root my phone. I merely wanted to root so that I could actually use the space on my SD card, which the HTC Desire doens't.
I did try to do this manually by reading a few guide and walkthroughs with no success. So then I used the sunshine app to unlock my bootloader and then WinDriod to load TWRP recovery and then hopefully root the phone. It does say ***unloacked*** on the fastboot menu. However, I sort of messed up my phone.
I cannot load into recovery mode - it goes to a HTC load screen then right back to fastboot usb menu.
I cannot factory restore the phone either.
Can anyone advise me how to return my phone to its normal state or advise on how to fix this problem?
Appreciate any help anyone can give me!

Hello,
Since you asked for help with returning the phone to it's normal state I have some questions. Does the phone work normally? Can you make calls, text, and do other things when you simply power your phone on or is the OS deleted? Are you just referring to obtaining stock recovery or do you still want to get TWRP? It sounds like some error happened when you tried to flash TWRP and now you have no recovery. Here is a great guide that shows you how to flash TWRP. You can use that same guide to flash the stock recovery. That channel also has videos with an alternate method to unlock your bootloader and how to root the phone.
My phone works fine, makes calls, texts etc, I just can't boot into recovery. I tried several methods, following online videos etc to no avail, but ill give this one a go this evening. I mentioned returning it to its original state so I could start over with the flashing process as nothing seems to allow me to load into twrp, so i wondered if there was a corrupt file or something preventing me from doing so. The phone's bootloader is unlocked I believe as it says so on the hboot screen.
Thanks for the suggestion, ill let you know how it goes.

The method in that video should work perfect. I doubt there was a corrupt file, but we'll find out soon enough. I have a love/dislike relationship with WinDroid. I love it, because of how easy it is to use and it requires little to no knowledge of what you are actually doing and it is just a beautiful looking program. I dislike the fact that you pretty much learn nothing when you use it, as it does all of the work. Also, if you use the adb drivers it provides and you already have adb drivers, you will receive an error that the adb server is out of date.
I bought an unlocked htc one m7 that workd with my carrier.
I then go home to find out the google play store wont open no matter the steps i tried to get it to work.
Clearing the cache, restarting ect. Accessing android file transfer. Nothing worked.
I called htc and they told me to call google. google told me to do a hard reset. When i did that. i went into twrp mode, which is when i realized the phone was rooted. I then did a complete whipe of absolutely everything. Wrong move on my part.
I should have done factory reset within the normal bootloader screen itself. However i did, and i deleted the OS accidentally and the phone doent say its rooted anymore. When i do a restart twrp asks me if i want to root my phone as it is not rooted and i think teh SuperSU has been removed as well. However, on the normal bootloader options screen from holding teh power button and the volume down button it still says unlocked and tampered on the top.
Anyways, my question is. I am trying to either flash a stock jelly bean rom (my preferred software) onto the phone, or just lock teh bootloader and flash the RUU.
My phone connects to my pc and says fastboot usb. My computer doesnt recognize it through htc sync manager ect. But it says that.
What do i need to use ADB sideload on my mac?
Do i have to install ADP and SDK tools on my mac? How do i use teh terminal commands, what is the process?
Should i just relock the bootloader adn install the RUU?
Can i instal a previous verson such as the 4.3 jellybean original software for the htc one m7 through a stock RUU?
Will installing the RUU give me the latest version of OS for the m7? Cause i want jellybean.
Please answer each of these questions with as much info as you are willing to give. That would be greatly appreciated.
Will post pictures if requested as i have another htc one m7 i can take pictures with, i am first time posting so not sure how.
