Hello, I need some expert help. I bought a bluetooth headset but Galaxy S needs an app to send the audio to the headset. And the only apps I found in Play market seem to do the job in MONO, and I really like it to be STEREO.
Any solutions? Thx!

For Audio over BT most devices use A2DP.
Maybe your headset doesnt support it.
Google: A2DP i9000
Is your headset only for calling? Then maybe it doesnt support stereo at all or the bluetooth call audio protocol ( or what it is named) generally doesnt support hogh quality audio or stereo.

Which ROM are you using? Some of them have the capability, some don't... some can have it added, and some can't...
If you provide a little more info then someone will be able to help
Not possible, as far as I know.
The BA can handle it, your headset can't. You can install the A2DP bluetooth profile (needed to stream music via Bluetooth) on your device, but you would still need a (stereo) headset that supports A2DP.
Other than that, I doubt you'd get much pleasure listening to mono music through one ear on a little speaker that's built for cell phone conversations...
If you'd like to listen to music wirelessly, there's a number of bluetooth headsets that support A2DP, all of them stereo and not too expensive.
Help! When i activate BT audio 1.0 it come on as BT mono not BT stereo. Is there any way to have BT Audio avtivate stereo instead of mono.

You need a BT receiver that is capable to receive a2dp. So if you have a carkit with a2dp, start you're musicplayer and play a song, start a2dp on you're carkit and you hear the sound in stereo over you're speakers.
One, actually, gets joint stereo by default, even through A2DP. To get full stereo, search for UseJointStereo in the registry and set it to 0.
Hi All,
I got a bluetooth speaker today for phone calls. I got http://www.amazon.com/LG-HBM-800-Bl...arging/dp/B0024FA6QW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top. One of the reviews says he can get the audio from the gps navigation on his phone to be played via the bluetooth speaker.
Is this possible on android? I have the speaker synced just fine for calls. Of course it would be very helpful if the GPS worked on these captivates! Hah!

BT devices support different profiles (functions) - some only work with phone functions, others support music and other audio functions. Car bluetooth usually supports both (handsfree profile, and A2DP - streaming audio). Your speaker probably only supports handsfree, so it won't play music or GPS.
Check the speaker specs for what BT profiles it supports.
Try this.

This headset does route navigation and other audio to the headset. It was going for $30 - $20MIR until the end of last month. See if it comes up again.

Hi guys,
I've just bought a new common Jabra blutooth and it works well on call, but I really want to know if there is a way to play music via my blutooth. I found that iPhone is able to play music via blutooth by jailbreaking, but I just can't get any helps from google and etc...
If somebody here knows the way, please tell me. Thanks a lot.
which model of Jabra did you buy?
only the Stereo version of Jabra will support A2DP and AVRP from Bluetooth to play audio, and remote control
working perfectly fine with my Jabra BT8010 and car stereo CZ509

It's BT125 sth...not sure, but it's cheap though. Anyway, I believe it can be used to play music
ya that headset doesn't support a2dp so i don't think its going to work.
I've got the Jabra BT620s - had them for a few years now, works great on the SGS, it supports A2DP & AVRP, when a call come in the phone pauses the music and the headphones switch to headset mode (ie phone mode).
Now the HTC had issues, some ROM worked Stereo, some worked headset, but I never had one which did both

Hi people,
Does anyone know if there is an app/hack I can use so that when I pair up my Jabra BT3030 Dog tag unit to my i9000, audio is still sent through the 3.5mm stereo jack instead of via Bluetooth audio?
The reason being is that the audio quality loss does my head in when I'm playing music off my phone via bluetooth in my car. I would prefer to control the tracks with AVRCP on remote while audio is still outputted through 3.5mm.
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
Hey, I spent a while to get this to work on my I9000 but then I found it works by default like this on the Galaxy SIII so that may give you something to investigate.
I had the idea to Disable the Sink service in the audio.conf file but as it works for me now I haven't investigated it.
