You can still save offline maps by typing in Ok Maps on your search bar, but it doesn't tell you where the maps are saved on your phone. Does anyone have a clue?

Ok so, Google Calender Supports Location (in the Where Field) which in the web interface shows up as a map.
But on the G1 it just displays the location as text, not a link to the maps app.
Is there a known way or work around without copying the data from editing the event and then pasting into the maps search (not the best solution)?
Thanks in advance
It seems everytime I open Google maps, the phone automatically connects to the net. How can I avoid this? Any settings?
Google Maps requires a data connection..so when you open it..you are going to be connected to the net...
Anyone having problem with Google Maps showing wrong location? After CM7 last update Google Maps and Foursquare stopped working.
I tried to reinstall GMaps and disable GMaps Hack, but it doesn't help.
Hello all,
The recent update for Google Maps to 7.0.2 is really nice and has some nice features. But I'm wondering if anyone has noticed the impacts to their contacts/address book? I have my contacts addresses stored and when I select it, before the Google map update, it loaded in Google maps. After the update it loads only in my other GPS program, Co-pilot. I've gone to my apps and cleared the defaults for co-pilot and that doesn't make a difference. I've found a work around so far which is to search your contact in Google maps, but being able to load the address then navigate from the contacts/address book was a nice feature.

Hi guys,
is there any possible way to let me Login into my Google Maps account? That´s like the only thing I miss on my else google free phone.
Not unless someone finds a way to Install GMS on it.
The one thing you could try is to use GMaps via the Browser then you should be able to log in
I use 10.49.3 version, to have guidance (it's the latest version where I could find that guidance).
Can't login ...
Install Gspace by searching via Huawei App Gallery and you will be able to install Google Map with your account
The only problem I'm facing is that after reaching my location by navigation I can't press done to stop the navigation.
I have Maps 10.67.2 on Gspace 1.0.6.
If I open the app and set my home as destination (being home already), it's saying "welcome home" and I can press "done" (it works).
