When I call into the conference call, I am required to dial 4 digits and then the # key. I hear the tones, but apparently they are not being heard through the phone, because I keep getting that the keyed in numbers are wrong.
PS- I called in from a land line and the numbers were correct.
Any insights?

Hence the meaning of a call log...it tells you exactly who you called and when. I don't think there is a fix for this but you can always change the options in the menu to show you what you want....for example. Missed Calls, Outgoing Calls, ect....
I was quite annoyed with this in the beginning. On the original ATT dialer, if you press the d-pad down instead of going to call logs it will show you the last several calls before going to your contacts list. This is what I usually used when I was using this dialer. This in turn is compacting your call log to the calls the you dialed or just received.
Hope this helps
I have a little problem. Diamond don't notify when an incoming call has been diverted from another phone number.
So I can't know if the incoming call is for my cell number or for the number that has been diverted to my phone.
I often divert the office phone to my private cell phone and it would be nice to know if the incoming call is private or business...
Normal phones like nokia and sony ericsson have this function...usually they show a little arrow near the phone number of the incoming call.
Does the Diamond finally have it too???
Thank you for the answer....
unfortunately, all Windows Mobile phones can not do this, it also wont alert you when you call someone and you are on call waiting.
if this is in wrong place mods please remove

CallFirwall is free but not perfect as you will hear the first ring "unless u edit the ringtone" also you still see the missed call.
Magicall is a pay for software but has alot of options and also works invisibly so you don't see the missed call etc.
Clarification needed...
i'm curious about the whole call barring topic in a technical sense...(why you would want to bar a caller is a social issue )
first i will describe what i know...followed by my question...
my network returns the following announcements for outgoing calls:
1. base case...the call succeeds and i will hear a ringing tone
2. number dialed is busy..."the number you have dialed is busy at the moment, please try later". i hear this immediately if the dialed number doesn't support call waiting.
3. number dialed has declined the call...i will hear a ringing tone until declined...once declined, the announcement is the same as 2 above.
4. being placed on the dialed number's call waiting queue..."the number you have dialed is on another line, please hold"
5. number dialed is powered off (gracefully i assume)..."the number you have dialed is powered off, please try later"...see also 6 below
6. number dialed is unreachable (due to ungraceful shutdown or cell tower down or the dialed number has reception issues)..."the number you have dialed is not responding at the moment, please try later"
when i go in Settings->Personal->Phone and on the "Services" tab, i retrieve settings for the listed "Call Barring" service, i get options to bar (at the network level i presume) incoming and outgoing calls (unconditionally, doesn't matter who is calling or who is being called, respectively) and the only conditions i can set for the "Block incoming calls" category are "Off", "All calls", & "When roaming". Similarly, the conditions for the "Block outgoing calls" category are "Off", "All calls", "International", and "International except to home country".
my question is: what kind of message will a caller get (who i have barred) if i have barred him/her as a result of:
1. unconditional barring of incoming calls set at the network level via Settings->Personal->Phone?
2. barred via software (as suggested in this thread) installed on my phone?
would it be message 2? or 3? or 5 or 6 even?
i'd appreciate any useful clarifications just out of curiosity
Picture this:
Your sitting at work and someone is calling you.
Your work will fire you if you talk on your cell phone.
However, your work doesn't care if you talk on their corporate phones.
Cell Phone have a built in call forwarding feature.
What I would like to see is a an application that will run when there is an incoming call. I want it to pop up and give me the option to forward the call to my work phone number.
It would be nice to configure it to have multiple forwarding options.
For example:
If your sitting at home and you have poor reception, you want to take the call but you don't want to deal with the poor call quality, so you forward it to your home landline telephone..
If someone has seen and application like this:
Or feels like developing an application, it would be much appreciated.
Another option would be cool if worked with S2U2.
Thanks.
This would be awesome, is it doable? Since call forwarding is a net based service it probably don't work to use the net service. But if you make the app to handle it as a phone conference where you call up a third party, that should be possible?! DEVELOPERS, GET ON IT!
Can't you just input your work phone number as a call forwarding number in settings to call after not picking up after 4 or 5 rings. then when you get a call you get the option to ignore the call and then it will be forwarded to your work number automatically.
Or do only operators in the netherlands give you this option??
You can't forward call when there is an incoming call in progres, that can do only operator.
There is network service and network must have this information, so only u can use build in feature to forward, and as robstgter said u can use that after a specific time the call will be forwarded.

There is what you call, Forward on Busy, so when you hangup it just forward it to your number.
Are there any developers interested in working on this application/Function?

Well the problem is sometimes I would like to just ignore the call and send to voice mail.
Other times I would want to take the call, but I just want to hit foward to my work or home phone.
So I can talk on that line rather than my cell phone.
I wouldn't want it to always forward because I'm not always at work to answer the phone.
However, maybe there could be a easy way of completing this task by making an easy way to turn call forwarding off and on. The next thing to consider is the SMS (is it affected in a call forwarding environment or no?)

Yes and no.
I believe it takes just a second or 2 to update the call forwarding on your cell phone, through the settings, at least it use to be this way
SO: If the application ran, (pressing a button to forward) would just change the forward settings for you than after the 5 rings is up it forwards to the number desired.
I'm almost positive that the forwarding can happen after it rings because of this scenario:
You call someone, it rings 5-9 times then goes to voice mail. Well that voice mail is actually connected through a different phone number. Just like when you access your voicemail (for Californians) it dials a (909) 213-xxx number.. (which is nothing close to your cell phone number)

Yes, I agree the term is more of: Forward on Busy.
Does anyone else have a large delay when trying to dial numbers while on a call? For example, when inputting a conference call number I have to wait 2-3 seconds between numbers otherwise I get an error.
I am using an unlocked N6 on Verizon running LMY47Z for reference.
Thanks in advance.
