Speaker Crackle on Non-Sense Rom - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Hey all,
When Im using any non-sense rom (AOSP/AOKP) I hear a slight crackle in the speakers.
I heard that you can use an EQ to help prevent this...
Anyone who know the right settings, can you share screenshots of your EQ settings?
Thanks

HTC AUDIO BOOSTER found - Can someone make it work?

Well, we found Audio Booster, which is a system-wide equalizer. (See thread below, with link)
But we can't get it to work.
Can someone play with this and figure out what registry (?) settings to change to get it to "stick"? would be much appreciated!

This was the original post:
While we love this beast, it still has a pretty tinny sound from its speakers. Coming from a Samsung i730 with stereo speakers and SRS sound-enchancement, the Kaiser is kind of lame.
Anyone have ideas about system-wide equalizer or how to get a SRS-like software that can boost the sound quality?
bump? I saw the HTC Equalizer, but that is only if you have headphones plugged in. Any system wide equalizer to make the sound richer?
Yeah, I've been searching for something like that too. Kaiser's speaker have too much treble. There are some mp3, which are live or acoustic, that have some background noise, but nothing too perceptible.. I tried playing them, and Kaiser actually boosted the noise.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344533 post 1---- also if you go to google and type in xda-developers.com audio booster it was the 5th site
I installed this HTC Audio Booster but it doesn't seem to be working. Settings just won't stick, as you say. Also, Audio Manager gets really ugly ..
Same here, settings in Audio Booster dont seem to change anything (on Tilt)...is there a fix for this?
If the problem is related to ringtones, I just found a pretty easy way :
Opened the ringtone in a decent audio editor, and maximize volume level.
Now, it's hearable even from its pouch
Like everyone else, Audio Booster SEEMS to be the ticket, but can't turn in on (can't check "Equalizer")
Anyone know who on the forum could take a look at this and see if there is an easy tweak to make it work?

The problem is not the volume.. it's the equalization of the sound.. Kaiser's speaker have too much treble, it distorces the sound. At least when I try to hear a song, there's so much treble that it makes a choppy ugly noise. It's bass needs a boost.. or at least lower the treble so we can have it equalized. It's also a pain when you're talking to someone with a thin voice like my girlfriend.
I changed the title of this thread with the hopes that someone can figure this out. I am kind of surprised that so few are frustrated with the sound of the speakers.
I am interested too for making HTC Audio Booster and equalizer working!!!!
I have read somewhere that there is a missing dll file, but noone seems to know which one. Hopefully this helps in figuring this out! Thanks. Waiting patiently!
thank you

thank you finally some people agree!!!!!!!!!!! Im coming from a wizard and am dissappointed. I've posted the skin solution in another thread now we just need THE solution. I've been in and out the registry and the problem very well might be a .dll has anyone pm JUVS or Patr!k????
I too would be glad if somebody knew a solution.
I have a trinity and the sound is not bad, but when I connect it to my car stereo through my cradle, the sound has no bass at all. Will try the equalizer, don't know if that would even work. Need a solution!!
I guess I just need more power from the headphone jack...don't know...
I have been messing with my trinity and TLPMP is the best solution so far, by setting the equalizer to increase bass. It is not perfect but at least I can play music without my hears hurting.

In-Call volume very low

Hey everyone,
I have the problem that the call-volume is very low. I've already tried different settings, but there is not really any help.
Does anyone have the same issues? When I'm in a silent ambient, it is okay, but e.g. in the train it is really hard for me to understand the other person.
And no - my ears are not THAT bad
Haven't really noticed an issue with mine, although not usually calling from anywhere that is too noisy.
yes i have that prob.setting the qualiser to bright and disabling speaker voice enhancement improves it a little. but still the call volume is low.
Yes i also feel its bit low... but not very low!
For me it's good enough!
When I have a call in quiet place or a noisy place like in the city or a cafe or something, I understand everything good
i have that problem tooooo.in fact i fight with my gf every time cuz i cant hear what she say ,any advice to fix this problem?can i change some setting and fix this?
It's not that bad! Try using the earphones
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
:silly: using an earphone is not a solution.. can someone tell if this issue can be resolved using some mod/software?

Did this solution work for anyone? I am not seeing much difference, please help me if there is any third party application which can be used to boost the volume.
I've wanted to find out if there's a way for some time!
I connect to my car via aux cable for hands free.
But when I get a call I have to increase volume 7 or 8 steps for me to hear.
And then when the call finishes, I get deafened from when the radio kicks back in!

[Q] Ringtone through earphones ? (solved)

Hi
I've searched a bit but nobody seems to have found a solution to this very simple problem.
When I listen to music on my HTC ONE through earphones, and I get an incoming call, I'd like to hear the ringtone through earphones.
I can't find a setting to adjust this behavior. I mean, what's the point in making the phone ring in my deepest pocket when I wear earphones ??
Is there any app or setting you know of that might help me ?
Thanks !
I'd like to know this as well. It's kind of stupid really... :/

[Q]Help with using v4A on CM11

I'm playing around with settings and I'm getting great sound, but it isn't loud enough. My speakers aren't as loud as they were on stock sense rom.
Any suggestions on getting really good, loud sound?
I don't know how many settings i can go max on because im scared to blow out my speakers, but the thing I want most is loud alarm volumes.

Same for me, i tried equalizer in OFF, same distortion .. any solution ?
I have this distortion as well, with our without equalizer and for music, ringtones and speakerphone calls.
