Can't enter Recovery mode

Hey guys I have an Indian Galaxy pop aka galaxy mini running 2.2.1 .
I wanted to flash CM7 on it so I first flashed the CWM recovery from tj_styles thread via odin .. it flashed successfully and the phone booted but now I can't get into recovery mode ...
Tried home + power, terminal emulator, qtadb .. it just gives a black screen or gets stuck on the Samsung screen...
Anyone knows what the problem is? Any help would be appreciated

Upgrade to GB first then flash cwm.

CWM only work in gingerbread..

I had android 2.2.2 on galaxy pop cdma.but i installed ROM manager.infact i also installed cwm.but when i clicked backup current ROM.Phone got blacked out..and doesnt start..Now the problem is how to i enter recovery mode..i tried all possible combinations ..dosent wrk ...plz help

Rom manager is not compatible with our device and you have hard bricked (broken bootloader) and now you must give to samsung service for repair.

thats sad...but as a developer cant we fix it ourselves..i mean generally what is generally done in these situations.reflashing bootloader with some tools ?

Actually, ROM Manager is capable of bricking the Motherboard, and this situation is termed as "Hard Brick" ie, the phone is completely dead. You can't enter recovery/download mode or boot up.
So, only the Samsung Service guys can replace the motherboard in order for the phone to function properly.
On the other hand, if the bootloader is bricked, it is also a case of Hard brick, but some devices can recover from this stage, but no idea about Galaxy Mini. I guess only locked bootloader is dangerous more than unlocked bootloader, and Galaxy Mini's is unlocked. Normally every Samsung's bootloader is unlocked I guess.

Phone doesn't need motherboard replacement. It could be fixed with JTAG like RiffBox in any better service. I have RiffBox and several GT-S5570 phones were fixed with JTAG method.
It isn't simple but is possible. Phone should be disassembled, eight wires soldered to the motherboard and through JTAG access rewrite boot loader to the OneNAND memory. After resurrection finished, it's possible to switch phone to the download mode and continue flashing with Odin.

try install your stock rom via odin, and later install cmw, later of this you can flash what you wants, i recomend cmw touch updated

Boot loop, recovery don't work..

I enabled init.d support by "activate" button(Pimp my rom), restart phone and i'm stuck on "Galaxy Ace" screen.. i can't get into recovery, my phone reboot.
I'm using this rom - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1978570
How to make it work again? Help please :crying:

Can you get to download mode? What Galaxy Ace do you have? (S5830, S5830i, S5830m...)

You are absolutely sure it's S5830?? Check this thread:

Do steps A to C, this will restore your mobile, meaning that that it will erase ALL your data, not SD card though.. Although it's difficult for you to make a backup now, so... This will probably fix your phone.

put phone in download mode! flash a stock rom! and then flash a custom rom that has a kernel with init.d support!

This has been said over a hundred times in forums. The SGA and the SGAi dont have much things in common (except for the name ). They have different builds, bla bla...
So flashing ur phone with Ace ROMS might brick you Acei. So flash your mobile with Acei ROMs. I think this shall solve ur problem.
Edit: Well the thing in question was CWM, not ROMs. But still, the answer is same.

In the APP there was a tab "ClockWorkMod" and i pressed on that tab.
The tab openned window with 2 options 1.REBOOT 2.CANCLE.
I pressed on REBOOT and my phone stopped to act.
Since the phone stopped to work and the recabery.
WHAT i`m need to do?
Someone told my to put a new ROM but I don`t know how do that.
You can give my ROM (version 2.3.6, GT-S5860) and ODIN guide?

1º Flash a fresh stock rom via Odin:

2º Getting root, flash this file via stock recovery (shutdown your phone and push HOME+POWER button until you can access to stock recovery mode)>>> select "apply update from SD card" and flash this file ROOT
Boot intro android and then shutdown again and go to stock recovery again (HOME+POWER button to access)
3º CWM recovery >>> select "apply update from SD card" flash this file CWM 5.0.2.6. FIX
Physical buttons
VOLUME+/- to move through recovery mode
HOME to acept install the select file
POWER to go back
DONE!

Help with roms

Can anyone tell me which custom rom for Samsung galaxy mini s 5570 i can install via ODIN, because I can`t install roms with cwm. Can you give me links for downloading roms. TNX

Now, for the answer. You can't flash ROMs via Odin, you must flash it via CWM since Odin are for flashing official ROMs not unofficial.

TNX a lot, i just try to download heimdall, and I saw your post. I have a lot of problems with my galaxy mini i can`t flash roms with cwm, and with stock rom my phone reboot itself when i try to enter galery, go to internet or start some aplication. Can you help me to fix that problem. I have try 2.3.5 rom, 2.3.6 and with cwm telephone stuck after samsung logo. Please help me.

Hmmh... try reflashing a new stock ROM, then install CWM via ZIP / Stock Recovery not via Odin. About the reboot problem, that's the power button. I'm sure something's wrong with power button.

It reboots just when i enter some aplication, screan is dark for few seconds and than reboot. I think it`s not power button. After trying everything :crying: i must go to service and give money, it must bee hardver problem. I `m afraid it`s ram memory or processor. tnx a lot for respond

Nope RAM or Processor won't have anything to do with this. It's the power button, it's pressed from inside or there's a battery leakage ?

[Q] enable to root O2 s3 mini

i tried to root my s3 mini i8190 just setup cwm with odin
and i got root_zip and copy to phone internal storge
but after install cwm
my phone won't reboot into recovery by pressing vol up + home + power !!
any idea or anyone help for this ?
or
can anyone tell me how to root directly with odin ??

Yes, you can. It doesn't matter which rom you r using just flash it like any other mod any way I'm a newbie I have lots of things to learn.
I told u because i just tried it and it wont wipe away when u install other roms. So seems like it doesn't touch the rom inside . i dont know what to say but its like modifying bios in pc
