I really need help unlocking my bootloader. I know I can unlock it since it says Yes in the service menu. I've been trying both fastboot and flashtool, but none of them seem to work. It keeps saying FAILED <remote: Command did not succeed>. It seems that the key Sony sent me is not correct...but I checked it many times and I also made them resend me the key, and it is the same! Really I don't know what to do now.
I think you need to remove the last digit.
Read the instructions carefully.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
GM007 the last digit you speak about is the IMEI last digit, not the KEY last digit...Read the instructions carefully please. Sony won't even accept as correct a full 15 letters IMEI, wants just 14.Hower the result doesn't change, I have already tried in many alternative ways...

That seems to suggest that your bootloader is not unlockable, although I could well be wrong.
Enter *#*#7378423#*#* in your dialler then look in Service Info -> Configuration. What does it say under 'Rooting status'?
