Launcher

hey all, I'm using the official but rooted 2.1 Eclair ROM, and i was previously using the latest 4.x Froyd Froyo rom, now i loved the launcher pro style launcher on there it was pretty awesome. Now my question is, can i replace the launcher on 2.1 but keep Sense UI? as in something like launcherpro but keeping sense
I've asked the question before on theming the launcher/ navbar but never got a response, as a themed navbar would better suit my needs! thanks in advance

I'll try and explain in a little more detail. I LOVE how the launcher pro, ADW launcher etc, changes the look of the stock HTC Sense UI navbar, but i want to keep sense, whereas launcher pro etc removes it completely.
So im asking for a way to change the look of the sense launcher/ navbar, for example theming it, ive come across a transparent navbar, but thats not exactly what i was looking for

Well if you look under the theming section there are a lot of themes for FroydVillain. I know Ganii has ported a hell of a lot of themes and among those there's one called "BlackMod" which looks a lot like Sense The only downside is that you will lose your Sense widgets but there are seriously to many upsides of FroYo to think about that

So today i decided to go over and look at the evo and shift forums. I saw there there were ROMs with launcherpro or any launcher, with a themed notification bar, with SENSE apps and widgets. Now me being a longtime cdma hero user, I don't recall us having that ability. So i guess I'm wondering if it is just that our phones don't have that capability? Or am I stupid and we do have a ROM like that?
BTW, i feel like im asking a real stupid question please don't flame.

They are not sense, they just LOOK like the sense widgets. There are many replacements for the sense widgets, like those with launcher pro plus and beautiful widgets. I used to be a fan of sense, but being on gingerbread now, I have found replacements (BW, ADW EX and Pure grid calendar widget) and now I don't miss sense at all!

oh ok cause i even saw a widget that said "friendstream" exactly so i guess i get it now thanks man

Have you Found anything that's Similar to the Sense Music, and Bookmark Widgets?? Oh Yeah Sorry I Almost Forgot the Lockscreen... Anything Comparable??

No, not possible. Use a custom launcher if you want that - GoLauncher EX allows that. My experience shows that it doesn't run smoothly when loaded with such an amount of screens.

[Q] Sense Rom with Landscape Homescreen?

Hey I'm new here (and to custom roms in general) so please forgive me if I don't know what I'm talking about.
I've had my incredible S for about 4 months now and have pretty much customised it as much as I can without loading up custom roms and stuff like that, and basically I was wondering if anyone knows of any rom that has the Sense UI but rotates to landscape view on the home and lock screens? I've been using third party launchers to get this feature but I just love the look of the sense widgets and effects.
Would love it if anyone could give me some advice (apart from using a third party launcher!), thanks!

Thanks but that's a third party launcher. I am aware many other launchers support landscape on the homescreen but i really want to keep my SenseUI look and widgets and was hoping a custom Rom might be the go. I know SenseUI must have the ability somehow because the desire z can do it.

You what now? Have you tried installing a different launcher.. nova apex Google Yahoo.. there are many many. I mean if it's just sense you don't like.
