After a lot of work i bring to you my version of battery status theme
featuring:
home screen
contacts (xml customizable)

I used a lot of contributions from xda to make this theme, so credit goes to the the original developers also.
Hope you will enjoy.
Feedback is appreciated.

[QVGA] HS++ Yellow Theme "WORKMAN" by Tito 12
The idea for this skin came from the fact we are allways playing with our devices but we pretend to be working,so I went one step further and created a working environment!
This is he first skin I post and I am standing on giants' shoulders. Big thanks to Chpoubs from " http://www.mobilecustom.fr/forum/ and his "Multicolore theme" on which "WorkMan" is based, plus bits from his "tf2d theme" and prscott1's "xda-Hybrid theme". Part of the images called "Yellow Hazard" came from the web (I'll be more than happy to give credits to the author) and others I created.
Screenshots:
Requirements:
1- a hardhat and bulldozer (optional)
2- HS++ installed
3- Mortscript installed
4- Dcinobar (some need Nuenobar) to remove the softkeys bar
and... this is it!
Installation:
Move the unzipped WM7 folder and WorkMan.xml to Program files\Homescreen PlusPlus, then in advanced options select WorkMan. Move the 2 "comic" files from zip folder into the "Windows\Fonts" directory
Tips:
SCREWS- All the (X) screws are functionning as switch buttons (beside holding the signs in place hehe..), and change color when pressed, toggle bt turns Blue , wifi yellow , on the Home screen the 2 lower ones phone to red (tap and hold to prevent accidental switch offs) and shades of grey for mute and vibrate. Some screws are (+) and (-), they function as labelled.
APPS, MUSIC, CONNECT and PICS pages- you can change any app with a long press on the icon, choose a new shortcut and reload theme.
WEATHER- you have 3 cities that you can change (city and code) by editing the "BSWeather.xml" in "WM7\BSWeather" folder.
Temps are in Centigrades but I left an option to have Fahrenheit by moving the appropriate brackets in the WorkMan.xml.
Toggle city by tapping on the center icon, update by pressing the (+) screw on the top left corner
FAVORITES- you can load a contact by pressing on the big (+) screws and follow the prompts (takes some time). If you want to change an existing one you should first remove it by pressing the (-) (del) top right corner, top left (+) (All) will open contacts.
AGENDA- tap screw (+) top left to update, (-) top right to open tasks.
MESSAGES and EMAILS- you have MMS,SMS and 2 email adresses, go to "Program Files\HomeScreen PlusPlus\WM7\Script" open "Email1.mscr" replace Email1 with your account name, save file. Repeat this with "Email2.mscr" replace Gmail."New" refers to the active title. Tap the names to update, tap and hold opens the folders. Tap the frame to open the message.
I think I covered everything or almost, you are welcome to ask.
Enjoy your Work, Man
Very nice, thank you.

Hi all,
I was going to post this in Development, but I don't think I have enough posts. I was building my theme when I noticed an xml I hadn't seen: the stat_sys_gps_acquiring_anim.xml
Looking in here, I found where I could change my animation timing and images, but I was just a bit curious as to whether I can include more than two animation images by simply adding another
line with another image from the drawable area?
Would this work?
Cheers,
Alistair.

What device do you have? This is a N6 forum but of course N6 will have L status bar icons...
Looking at the Developer Preview, I'm not sure Lollipop actually has icons on the statusbar..
At least, not like the icons that came before. Normally the signal icons use a collection of PNG image files and you can use those image files in a different rom. As far as I can tell, Google have done what they did with the battery icon and the signal and wifi icons are now generated by code.
However, my theming tool has signal and wifi icons that look just like the Lollipop ones, so I've attached two zip's for you. They're not flashable zips, just ordinary archives.
Signal and wifi icons on TMA are great, but what about data icons ?
so, has anyone figured out how to theme the signal and/or LTE "icon" in lollipop?
as @Ticklefish pointed out, the signal/data icons apprear to be generated via XML code now. specifically, the data icon (LTE in my case) appears to be defined in SystemUI/res/drawable/stat_sys_data_fully_connected_lte.xml:
Code:

<vector android:height="17.0dip" android:width="9.207977dip" android:viewportWidth="13.0" android:viewportHeight="24.0"
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">

i dunno how to edit this though, i'm used to simply replacing PNGs. anybody know how to work with this? all i want to dois change the "LTE" symbol to something of my choosing.

Those are changes made by decompiling SystemUI.apk if you're looking to replace PNG then open it up using a archive and replace the image.

yeah, I pulled that XML file out of SystemUI. handling of stausbar icons has been completely reworked in Lollipop and there are no PNGs for the LTE data indicator (as best as I can tell). think the three data strings define the symbol but I don't know how to manipulate the values. after looking around some more, it appears to be some sort of vector drawing and requires additional software to generate.
when im feeling adventurous, I'm going to try replacing the code with references to a PNG file and see what happens.

it is beacuse you use "Theme.Material.Light.DarkActionBar" you must use default code and then edit another thinks or just add color to styles, i did it before and i can send you apk of theme (vibe ui) where it works.
anyway your settings seems to be nice, i was lazy to add it into mine

Okay, I will check it.
BTW, if it seems nice, is the settings title black now?
Another thing, in Android O, in a Pixel, the switch after the icons is in blue. I thought it wouldn't look nice so I coloured them grey like the icons. Should I color them blue?
And what about the status bar?
UPDATE: What if I use Theme.Material.Light.DarkActionBar and add color to them?
It looks like this
Code:

I think it should work as I have used #ff000000 for android:textColorPrimary .

Anyway it works only on 1st gen. Zenfones ( 5/6 ) you can also change dimens or you can add shortcuts (in settings.apk ) in other app. The problem is, when you edit dimiens in systemui, theme engine will load default systemui and then theme systemui. so it will crash after every restart, then it works perfectly. if you dont have any experience with it, dont try modify it, it can FC everytime and you will need reset your phone
Using this you can get this, yes, it is stock rom and this is theme.
