[Q] 'Light' rom - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, my wife has a UK Three S5830. It seems to be bloated with junk like games that can't be removed and after installing 2 or 3 apps the internal space is full! I was going to root with SuperOneClick but then can somebody recommend a clean, light rom? I have an S3 so I've no idea what available for these phones!

u can go for Stocklite rom or adrenaline rom(old version..since latest version is having boot problem)..both are light and fast..

You should ask about it in the correct Q&A Thread
You must read rules and all information about your device also, rom threads, we need to keep the order!! This is GENERAL THREAD, so next time you know what to do
Reported.
Thank you for understanding it

Try the Roms suggested by nix01.
Also you can simply Root your device and make this ROM lite as well by deleting unwanted apps...

Just root, unistall bloatware from stock rom and maybe flash a different/battery friendly kernel and you're done

Just update to the latest build through either recovery (Benz 4.1) or Odin (rooted 4.2).

lol thread has been moved it was in dev section first!
Depends if you want to go for CM or Stock.
If you want to go for stock, then flash the non bootloader ROM via Odin. Otherwise flash a custom recovery via Odin and install a CM7 based ROM.

Need a new ROM!

Just rooted my phone using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147852.
Need a custom ROM which would be the best for my phone GT-I8190!

2.Does rooting my phone effect knox or is it flashing that effects knox
3.disable knox and flash custom roms?
4.If i flash the new German rom kitkat XXUFNI3 will it make it easier in the future to root or harder, using towelroot etc
basically would it be better to root after going to kitkat or before?

Oh sorry, I was on my phone when I replied to that and I assumed you were the OP so my bad.
Because they are both an s3 but the i9305 has lte where the i9300 so they have been lumpt in the same section but then seperated with a i9300 q&a and a i9305 q&a threads. Most only see the i9300 as its second hence why we get alot of i9305 questions in the i9300.
I don't visit the i9305 q&a so I have no Idea if there is alot of i9300 people in there.
Report there posts and get them moved to the i9300 area if you like.
If someone could just post the link for the best way to install recovery on 4.3 would be nice... Because i always end up with stock recovery
Apologies again for posting in the wrong area,
but this thread seems to have gone completely off topic, I would have thought that with all the debating about placement of my thread that at least one of my questions might have been answered
JUST A THOUGHT
