Ask Whatsapp developer. We cannot know what is creating that .nomedia file. Maybe it is part of new Whatsapp.

Try to rename the folder and remove the dot.
".nomedia" -> "nomedia".
The dot before folder's name do the folder be hidden.
On one of the last updates I also had a weird bug - couldn't see group users even though I was admin.
Not connected to your problem, but found the uninstalling and re-installing whatsapp fixed it - might also help you.

Why you want to delete?
It does not free up internal storage, only free rom storage.
You need to make sure before you delete camera that you another camera apk is set to default, if its not your camera wont start...and browser you can delete since there is no harm to your phone if you delete it.
P.S. Try and see you can always copy them back from another rom...

yes u can delete browser.apk, not sure abt camera, cos i never tried myself
I doubt about camera, because some apps uses default camera app to take photos (e.g. WhatsApp)
Is it true if I delete these files, it will not increase internal memory?

Yap, it's true.
The files you want to delete live inside of /system/app, so it's the /system partition.
The things that eat up the internal storage space are the user apps installed in the /data partition (EDIT: and the application data the apps store in /data/data).
If you want to reclaim internal storage you better move apps to the SD ... though keep in mind that they won't automatically come back in case of a Full-Wipe (though you will still find parts of them sitting around on your SD).
Thanks very much for everyone's help! If I have any more questions,I think I will just ask here...

Camera>Settings>Storage. When you open camera you will see how many photos it can take. If it shows "0" then you are using the virtual/small partition. If it shows hundreds or thousands (i.e. 14700) then you are using the SD Card.
Clear?

Again I don't have space. The counter says I can take 0 pictures. But, when I enter settings, the "storage" option is idle. I can't enter.
Any suggestion? Should I flash any fix?

Hi Guys,
I face some problem with my Galaxy mini GT-S5570.
My ROM is Jelly Bean (CyanogenMod 10).
My 1st parition of SDCARd file system is FAT32 (amount 6GB)
With this ROM, my Music Player could not find any music files.. I have put all the music files on /SDCARD/Music folder. But, the music player could not find any of them. I also have tried to place all music files on /SDCARD. But, music player still could not find any music. So on when tried use Winamp for android.
My picture viewer also could not show all of my old picture (taken by ROM Gingerbread) although I have place it on the same folder (/SDCARD/DCIM/Camera). The pictures are shown only the new picture that was taken by camera with Cyanogenmod 10.
Please help, how to fix it?
Give me some suggestion.

OK, I've found it. It is "Media Provider" right? I have started "Scan SD card" as I attached the screenshoot.
Is there any sign that I finish scan successfully?

Using Root Explorer or any file manager with root access, go to the root of your SDCard, find a folder named ".nomedia" without quote, then delete that folder, run the can again.
hope this helpful...

I have tried using Winamp for Andriod. But no lucky.
I suppose this case has been closed. I have made down grade the ROM to ICS (CyanogenMod 9). All function work, but Camera recorder.

The most important is: I had successfully restore CM10 (ROM upraded from CM9 to CM10). And... all function are works!!
I installed JB + LightJB 1.2 + CoCore 5.0 and faced only one problem:
COntacts, DIaler and SMS are too laggy.
I compared them to GB ones, and GB has no lags. All is working on the fly. JB stock dialer is tooooo slow taking 5=10 seconds to start.
Can you suggest some solutions (change core, firmwares, etc...)

Contacts and dialer are laggy on any stock based JB ROM. I use CM10 mms.apk for sms for a while, can't remember if it laged.
You can use exDialer app from the market.

I can't remember where I got mms.apk from, some thread that is not in our sections.
I attached you mms.apk, just put it in system/app with some root explorer. And remove secmms.apk and secmms.odex. Ofcourse you need root. And do nandroid backup from CWM or TWRP recovery before doing this. Because there is some possibility to sms app not show. Reboot after transfering mms.apk.
Search CM10 mms.apk. I prefer dark one. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2095243
Maybe, you have apps for dialer and contacts also???

It's because they're not cached after startup. So, the apps will take a while to load the images. That is for dialer and contacts. I need the mms.apk because in pure vanilla sending mms caused the message app to fc. I was trying to find a replacement.

Thanks. I've tried it with pure vanilla but still failed in sending mms. So, I think it's the rom's fault, not the messaging app.
Thank you, guys!!!
Is that possible to replace call dialog with another one?

No, I don't think so cause the size is different. And it doesn't convert sms-mms for long messages.
Can we try contacts and mms apk from other samsung firmwares (like gor Galaxy S Duos which have fast contacts and dialer)

Almost all, except not so usable system. But in general, pleasure from not laggy system beats JB anger )))
I'm already on GB.
Use Dailer Ex as dailer and contacts. And you can use textra sms app. Its new and very fast.
And wouldn it be possible to inject GB dialer/sms apk?
No.

These are probably Telegram image files, I mostly see them when I tap on images on Telegram, but not sure.
I m also getting these files in the downloads folder since the MIUI 11 update....its very annoying! Anyone have any idea how to stop this..?
I've only started to see these after the MIUI 11 update on the mi 9t pro. Also looking for what's creating them
Go to Chrome, then downloads, then press the gear icon and then turn off both options. Its the offline pages that are getting stored in Downloads directory.
