[Q] Red light then my phone hangs

Hey, i encountered some problem, why my phone hangs and then red led light flashing Then i hv to put out my phone's battery to put my phone back on
That really scares me..
Any comments will be appreciated

I had this same problem using nAa Kernel 8 and MiniCM7-2.1.6.
I don´t know why this is happing, so i changed kernel and rom (alf`s and GingerDX).
Sory for my bad english!

Maybe our X8 cant stand with high cpu frequency ...
Mine stable on 72x MHz ...
What about yours ?

I did not made overclock, my x8 was hanging in boot, using some aplication, even in stanby. I tried flash the Kernel and ROM again, but unfortunely it happed again. Then i decided to change everything. I thought i was the only one with this problem because i searched for an thread didn´t find any.
Sory for my bad english!

Yes I overclocked, but the red light is a kernel /rom bug

Does it affects ??

DOES regular flashing of custom roms / kernel and full wipes affects an android ??
or we can keep changing rom / kernels..
does the droid hardware remains unaffected ?
tht is a big dilematic question

yup try all and see for the best and btw to answer your question, these are software changes...they wont affect your hardware
(yes some stuffs do have max read and writes but not for us)

You need another kernel, to be able to activate it.

Not for cm10. In Zeus ROM you can use it. Noone did it for cm10 until now, but why would you want it anyway? It'sjsut slow

Nope doesnt have swap neither... isnt 100 mb free enough? Is your phone too slow? You can also oc in zeus and the kernel you mentioned.

New firmware XXLQ4

I woke up 5 min ago and i checked my twitter but i saw a new firmware for i9070 in SamMobile's Twitter. Could that be the last firmware? Have someone flashed it yet? Any changes? .-. I'd thanks a lot if someone could tell me the changes of XXLQ4 and to flash it.

the problem is: there's no version mentioned

I think they didn't mention it because it's maybe the same version that the past firmware.

hey guys sorry for bad news. still in 4.1.2 2 play apks new and a litle more smooth rom and when i clean the RAM i get 350 ram used.

man if you are scare to flash this dont worry dont lose anithing in your phone less the kernel and the root but the root you instal again with the .zip and you dont miss the kernel because this is completly good.

Yes. It's CM based. So you can port it

I can't confirm this. Alarm clock gives only vibration, no sound.

okay,, i feel this problem from the cm7 rom,, i flashed reincardio engine in stock 5830i,, and work perfect,, but now cm7 rc2 released with audio fix.. i hope you can test it, and then flsshed my engine. and report me..
