I have little problem with Phonebook app , because if I imort contacts list , I haven't contacts list in phonebook , still is option import contacts , in billings are contacts.
Any Fix for this? This is in Xperiment 3.0 but in Jelly Bean 142 is too.

where are your contacts stored?
On google, sdcard or sim card?
I experience the same problem with the xperiment 2.9 rom. But i change to stock deodexed and the problem desapears.
I try to import from SIM and from a copy on the SD, and same result. It's a possible bug from the dark dialer??
All the process ok, all done right, but don't have the contacts on the phone...
Try backing them up and syncing with Google account

Hello people, I use the CM7.2 v11 (Xperia x8) and would like to know is there any mod that adds the option to send a message to all contacts at once, and also how to delete all contacts at once, because these options do not exist in CM 7.2 v11 and almost no custom rom, I hope you understand me, sorry for bad english
I too want it.. The Joy OS has it then why not cyanogen mod...?? none of the CM ROMs have a convenient messaging app and I have to download Go SMS Pro..!!! Thats too annoying...
The most simple way to delete all contacts:
Settings/apps/manage apps/all/contacts/clear data
& also there are some apps in store to do this
Is it important how did i send this?
There is the possibility to extract the application message (Joy OS) and use the CM 7?

Hello guys,
1. When I set phone to silent mode and vibrating (on notifications, example incoming text message), it doesn't vibrate. Can anyone confirm?
2. Any way to install Samsung original Mms.apk? Sometimes I need to send text messages to multiple persons. CM version of Mms.apk doesn't have that option, I think. Can anyone confirm?
3. When I was in stock ROM, cell numbers were saved as 09568483828 or +479349342671. I used Super Backup to back up all my contacts. The extension was .vcf (Samsung's is .spb I think). After installing CyanogenMod, I restored the contacts using the .vcf file. All good. But the numbers have been automatically formated as 095-684-83828 (WITH DASHES). Any way to return it to its original appearance? (no dashes)
4. I'm now using Samsung keypad. I can't find the option to go back to using Android keyboard (keypad). "Settings -> Language & keyboard"
only shows the "Keyboard settings". There's no way to switch between Samsung keypad and Android keypad. Can anyone confirm?
5. Anyway to install Google Play?
6. When I was in stock ROM, "adb devices" typed in command prompt worked (device was found). Not so with CyanogenMod. Can anyone confirm?
7. In Contacts (CM version), how can I delete all contacts at once?
I'm not complaining, I absolutely love CM. These are minor problems that I can live with. I just need to confirm it with you guys to see if I'm missing anything.

I don't know how you can install original Mms.apk, but you can download a third party app from play. And vibrate works fine for me but I had to go into thee settings of the app and turn on vibrate.

Press and hold any text field, you should be able to change input method.

You will need to provide more info on what build etc. you are running.

To delete all contacts go to CM Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Contacts storage clear data

is der a problem with SE phones??? my mate has a live with walkman n it happen he couldnt add new contacts or import contacts all it givs force close if u add new contacts.. his on stock orignal rom... an same day my frnd with xperia mini pro had same problem ... an now im haven the same problem cant add... cleard data an still it doesnt work cnt import or restore backup
it maybe the ROM problem or, try considering using apps from google play that lets you save your contacts to your external storage
managed to solve the prob.. the new version whatsapp was causeng the problem... instald older ver an prob fixed

Can't you access gmail contacts? They are usually automatically backed up.

I delete the default contacts app. And installer others apps for contacts and no run. Help to me install contacts default or other app for contacts what run.
