Hi please someone help upload nv_data.bin or /efs backup.
/efs partition was corrupt can not recover without this file
Unfortunately, doing such things are illegal, because technically you would using another person's IMEI.

Hi.
I've made a terrible mistake on the /efs partition. I have nandroid backups, but none of them contains the /efs partition I think(if it contains, that would be the best way to fix it, pls tell me).
So, I'd like to mount my /efs to PC, and try to recover the manuelly deleted nv_data.jpc file, which could be my saviour.
Is it possible? If it is, please help me out telling me how.
Solved, but not by mounting it. I managed to recver the nv_data.bin from the corrupted .bak of it.
Dear Fellows,
After a bad upgrade in a SGS I9000b, my phone does not recognize your own imei (bad efs).
I had made a backup of my EFS using only RootExplorer, and now I can´t change files permissions.
My system uses /dev/block/stl3 to mount /efs
I cannot change /efs (not have permissions to change when its mounted and if I umount folder, changes aren´t saved).
I need a solution to make a new stl3 using my efs backup to be used on ODIN.
It is possible to build a new efs using my data (imei number, bluetooth mac, etc, etc) of Samsung Galaxy I9000b?
Thanks for any help.
i want an efs backup in img format without nv-data.bin i have my imei so no problem is in giving it as it does not leak your personal information like imei

I used also TWRP for backup my efs and it show 0MB too but it did backup the efs. My backup took ~150KB.
By the way, the IMEI is NOT saved in efs partition. That what you think is IMEI, is really only a security key code for access IMEI (in /efs > imei). The real IMEI is saved in an another partition but i don't know where.
I think the security key code in your /efs > imei folder is wrong.

Hi
After doing a nandroid backup with TWRP 3.0.0.0 for all partitions including EFS when trying to restore after booting up my device it I get an "invalid IMEI" error.
Looking inside the EFS folder I can see that most files are missing and only a default nv_data.bin has been created.
Is there another method to mount the efs.mtd.win file and copy his contents?
Or perhaps another method to restore it or at least understand why it's not restoring properly?
Thanks for any hint.
