I would recommend the R3 kernel along with LMT launcher for navigation. Confirmed 4G and camera working.

If this is based on 4.1 and MIUI v5 is as well, what are the major differences in these builds?
Thanks.

Both have same base CM10 ROM, but I believe the reference roms are different. V5 doesn't have 4G working and V4 does. V5 has some cool new features but I would take function over feature.

V5 is still a WIP and not near 'final' where V4 is, so in a V5 build you have CM10 inherent issues as well as MIUI inherent ones, V4 has no functionality issues beside soft-keys atm.

When I flashed it (clean install) and was going through the setup, the keyboard was crashing so I couldn't log in to Google etc.
Can we use the kernel from v5?

Here is a flashable zip that will install an ICS launcher that I modified from Koush's CM9 Alpha 11.
It will enable Autorotation of the stock ICS launcher enabling you to use it in landscape mode.
THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON KOUSH'S CM9 ALPHA 11 BUILD!
I will take no responsibility if anything gets messed up but will try my best to help. Be smart, make a NANDROID backup.
Version 0.1 Fixes issue where launcher would still rotate even with auto rotation turned off in system settings.

reflash the BM zip. I'm gonna see if I can play around and create a zip to restore to whatever launcher it was before. I'm fairly new to this though so we'll see.
In anycase, BM's rom is based off CM9 A11 isn't it?

Yeah... every AOSP ROM that I've tried doesn't have autorotation enabled for the launcher... What ROM are you talking about Zigg?
sdk Ports had autorotation. This works great on Brainmasters v.6, 3g

Proud to announce it works perfectly on BMv6 3g, except it's always active and doesn't comply with autorotation setting.

Extended Note: I'm not sure what will work here and what won't, in theory everything should work fine but I'm not 100% sure, so feedback is necessary
Note that any errors or buffs CM has natively are retained in this, since it is built on CM10
Also note that the black bar under the font isn't a rom mod, It's just on the wallpaper I use out of personal preference, just change your WP to remove it if you hate it
OK up, any testing would be appreciated, hopefully everything will work correctly

Flash this exactly how you'd flash CM10
That means it is not Safestrab compatible?
I will give it a try. Downloading now.

I flashed using slot 1 in safestrap and when it booted up it said, system corrupted "reset phone". I couldn't get pass that screen.
Same here! For me it doesn't work with Safestrab, like epinters cm10.
Iam on german o2 XT925.
So next try with CWM.
Flashing with CWM works great.
ROM runs very fast.
What i have tested so far:
- Kamera works
- PlayStore works
- can not test LTE ,cause i dont have a LTE SIM
- Apps are starting fast, no FC so far
- WiFi works
- great Bootanimation
I like this ROM! Looks realy nice and works stable.
Very good work man!

This isn't MIUI, It is a port of RemICS v3 with the following MIUI components.
-File Manager
-Icons
-Music Player
-Camera (May be broken)
-Weather (needs a seperate install due to country specific APKs, check link in OP)
-Clock
-Icons
but I've also opted to straight up remove a lot of TW related things like Svoice and Smemo which I feel are inferior to MIUI notes and Google Now so a lot of my personal preference in regards to look style and feel do bleed through; needless to say whatever issues CM10 has and whatever CM10 does or does not come with applies also to this rom, when installing this rom consider it an 'alternate' CM10 and follow the steps you would take to install CM10.
All that being said this rom does share the same smooth vibe that folks who use MIUI love, I love MIUI myself and wanted to bridge the best qualities of MIUI with RemICS and also add my own personal flavoring like the slim 4.2 keyboard which I barely see used as well as audio mods, so feedback is really important so I can make this as stable as possible quickly if anything is even borked
Any chance this will ever work for the 26?

Dear OP,
Thanks for your efforts in cooking the ROM.
However, your thread is highly misleading when some serious efforts are being put to develop a kernel.
Thus, sincerely request you to post a detailed description of your ROM which should include below:

> Kernel version
> ROM Source
> Compiler
> Installation Instruction

Not so good as wrote...
I tried the 10 from this server.
Random reboots every 10-15 minutes, hot battery, etc...
Not useful for me.
Returned to epinter's CM 10.1.
Sorry.
Link download is slow.
Just decided to post this build I made because I am overeager. works perfectly fine so far with multirom! Completely untested and build with 4.3 vendor files, so I wouldn't recommend using it as a daily driver. enjoy!
Build: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByVfzzD831QieXA4UkV1bzBoa1U/edit?usp=sharing
Gapps: Semi-Working Gapps here (not my work just found it by googling)
FYI: I built this as a base for a new custom ROM I am working on, so good things well beyond stock are to come!
Enjoy!
Notes: According to users in this thread as well as the PA AOSP thread, Stock TWRP does NOT work for 4.4. CWM and the modified TWRP used for multirom DOES. This is a COMPLETELY separate build straight from AOSP 4.4 sources and is NOT just a copy of the PA AOSP zip. To install as a secondary ROM, install as normal but don't share kernel.

So, I compiled CM11 for our device.
You can download it here:
http://www.spice.net.au/razrm/CM11/
Seems video playback is broken. Other stuff seems to work OK.
You will need an appropriate gapps - this one seems to work OK
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23212708291678578
PLEASE NOTE:
The build.prop in this zip is hacked for the International version of the phone - If you are on Verizon you may need to change the settings back.
These are the changes I have made:
Verizon Setting / International GSM setting
telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=1 / telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=0
ro.telephony.default_network=10 / ro.telephony.default_network=3
ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc=1 / ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc=0
telephony.rilV7NeedCDMALTEPhone=true / telephony.rilV7NeedCDMALTEPhone=false
ro.cdma.subscribe_on_ruim_ready=true / ro.cdma.subscribe_on_ruim_ready=false
Enjoy!
UPDATE: New build available for download. This has also been modified for the International GSM model.
26/11 - LATEST UPDATE INCLUDES 192Mhz MIN CPU SPEED AND SOME UNDER-VOLTING.

It is completely stock.
Basically, I checked out the source tree from the CM git and then built it. No changes to the code at all.
Tried to flash it, but end up failed while flashing on TWRP. Going try redownload it again and see.

I added the md5sums of the zips to the first post.

I'm guessing the video issue is contained to CM releases? (GZR release of unofficial CM11 is also having video issues)
Seems Pure AOSP 4.4 has working video. (Though Camera is only working on 11/08 build of that. Later builds have broken camera)

Something to do with buffers.....
E/OMX-VDEC-1080P( 8647): Insufficient sized buffer given for playback, expected 565248, got 1
E/OMXNodeInstance( 8647): OMX_UseBuffer failed with error -2147479547 (0x80001005)
E/OMXCodec( 8647): [OMX.qcom.video.decoder.avc] registering GraphicBuffer with OMX IL component failed: -2147483648
I have not invested a great deal of time into it yet.
Cheers

Any chance this could be ported to the XT875 (Droid Bionic)? Hasn't it been done before?
Got it working and now running fine with Kit Kat. Is there any kernel will suit it well? I'm seeing a lagging. Wanted to make sure before I put in argggghhhh kernel in it. Haha.

apex or nova launcher doesn't seem to help, it's still laggy.

Has anyone tried Google Wallet Tap & Pay on Kit Kat yet? Theoretically it should work now, but I'm holding off trying it out for a more stable CM11

I have everything set up and ready to use, but couldn't find a store where I can tap on. NFC seem to work great.
