[Q] 1 digit PIN Lock - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have searched all over the forum for my bad ass question with no success.
Does anyone have an idea how can I pull down the limit on lockscreen pin? It asks for 4 digits and I want just one. I want a symbolic password. It doesn't have to be to hard or take to much time to type.
Everyone now is fixed with a 4 digit or more password, so who the hell will think about typing just one digit? My password is there just so I have a password and not anyone can touch my phone. All my friends already know my password and there is nothing there that important to me. I just feel safer that my dad can't read my sexy messages.
I was thinking there is a file or something in the system. It can't be that hard, but this is a question for those who know their way around system files.

Why would you want to do it like that? Use a gesture instead or facial recognition

Security App

What I need is setup my android phone (x8) and lock the setting part with a password, is that possible? with or without an app.
Thanks for helping me out.
Why not lock the whole phone via a pattern or a password?

Any lock or password can be cracked pretty easily, unless, it's just some little kid you're trying to protect yourself from

I'll try it later, now I'm far from the computer. Just lets hope it's not like the official flash tool that needs password to run...

Yeah, and right there is a link to download the programm.
http://csmginstall.lgmobile.com:9002/
But it's "useless" without LOGIN and PASSWORD.
You can buy an account for 100$.
It would have been better if we had made a fundraising for that.

yep, but maybe thats exaclty what the cracked program makes. (ignore user and password)
It looks like its a site for developers. But someone should contact LG to confirm if its a legit site before buying an account

I contacted the guy responsible for the B2B LGMobile Support Tool on the J.A.U. website. Lets see what he aswers...
bruteforce wont help, it will take years...tried bruteforcing with a 4 characters password, no sucess, so the password must be longer than 4 characters, and that makes bruteforcing almost impossible.

but how? i know that crack can bypass it for sure..
I think you have to pay him 100$ to get the password of the rar-file.
He won't do it for free.
@adverserath:
Do you know how?
I see this morning the archive has disappeared from repository...
I;ve found B2BAppSetup.exe elsewhere, and when Im trying to run it, it tells me something like - "Please run according to instructions - START/Program files/LGMobile Support Tool/B2B LGMobile update"...
Despite this message the program has been installed.
On my PC it can be found here:
C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
If you run "B2BLGMLauncher.exe" you have to enter an ID and password.

Any other executables? I know... that on some programs ive tried, there is the option to bypass certain things by using the program parts executable(.exe) directly

I had my computer since yesterday in brute force, all possible combinations.
Generating +/- 550passwords/second, I give up... The process, after more than 24hours, was around 2%...
I have no pacience for that, sorry...
And if in the end we found the same program that needs the loggin ID and password???
Its very strange that we don't found any other on the web. I don't believe that being truth, no one share the file in other sites (forums/blogs).

Because to have the access to jau we need paid account, that's why.
Well, i'll bruteforce it on my old Core2Duo in the background when my computer is on maybe one day i'll get the password, LOL
I bypassed the password in the flash tool as it is badly made. it reports the password confirmation back in xml, I just edited the response using fiddler. wonder if the rar password is in Korean.

I dont think it will be helpfull. bruteforcing demands a lot of cpu & gpu power.
This b2bapp is available even on lg own site. But this one is cracked, with a cracked app inside the zip, so maybe it could bypass the login.
Im still waiting for an answer from the admin, but, it could never be anwered aswell.

Problem entering letters in zip code in contact app. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I live in Holland and our zip code contains 4 numbers and 2 letters. In the contact app I can enter the numbers, but it does not accept letters.
Contacts I already had, they have normal zip codes, 4 numbers and 2 letters.
Am I missing something obvious? Do I need to change country settings? Or is this a bug? Or something else?
I would like to hear about your experiences.

[Q] Language changed to Sanskrit, cannot enter password now, help?

Hey guys, I restarted my phone and when it booted the keyboard language was Sanskrit. As such I cannot enter my password to get into the phone. There seems to be no button on the keyboard itself to change the language, is there any way to fix this? Thanks
I think if you put the password incorrectly for times it will prompt you for your Google login. Once that keyboard pops up you might be able to change the language.
I'm amazed that Sanskrit, a 5000 (?) year old dead language, is even a choice...
