Hi,
I recently bought the HTC One from AT&T. Yesterday, I unlocked the bootloader and rooted my phone to install ARHD, and haven't run into any problems on the device. However, the device no longer shows up on the Google Play website under "My Devices" even though I can connect to Google play on my phone and download my previously purchased apps. Some of the other threads suggested installing another app on the phone to help it pick up the device, but that hasn't worked for me either.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my phone to appear on Google Play My Devices?
Thanks

[Q] Dev edition - Play store error "your device isn't compatible with this version"
Hey Everyone,
I have the dev version of the device, on at&t, and when I try to download "Rayman Jungle Run" I get an error that "your device isn't compatible with this version." Same issue for google wallet. Is anyone else having this issue? Particularly with the game, which if i must say, is incredibly addictive.
Edit:
I realized that the game may not be compatible because it may not support Snapdragon 600 at this point. And the wallet is probably an at&t thing since my device probably identifies as at&t
I wonder if anyone can help me. A friend has a HTC One M7 phone that he used to be able to use an app called Auto Answer, it automatically answers a call with his Bluetooth headset. For some reason the auto answer app has now stopped working, it doesn’t auto answer at all (just keeps ringing). I’m not sure if this is due to a firmware/software update or something else. He is on Vodafone (UK – its locked to it too I think) and it has Vodafone branded firmware, I’m not sure what version he is on I would imagine 4.4.2 or 4.4.4, it was up to date with the latest firmware when I last used it, fairly sure it wasn't 5.0 though (pretty sure his phone is a single sim version, I heard it was only available for dual sim versions?).
I have tried various apps to auto answer but they either don’t work or actually crash when they are supposed to answer. I only see him once a week and he hasn’t brought his phone with him this week so can’t give much detail at the moment. He uses auto answer because he can’t move his arms to answer his phone, so it gives him a small piece of independence to be able to answer the phone.
I tried doing a factory reset and it didn’t fix the problem. I didn't want to mess around with it trying it install roms incase I mess something up, I've not used a HTC phone before but have installed a few roms on Samsung phones.
Just wondering if anyone has heard of this problem before, did they lock something in Kitkat that makes it so you can't auto answer (phone isn't rooted just stock) it wouldn't matter what rom he had on there only that the bluetooth auto answer thing works.
The app he had on his phone that worked a few months ago looked like an older version (infact I don't know where it came from since it didn't seem to be in his google play apps list) of this one : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mathalogic.autoanswer&hl=en I uninstalled that and installed this updated one, but no luck.
We have a family plan with T-mobile, and three of the four phones are the HTC One m-9. Mine is a Galaxy note 5.
My son's HTC phone received the latest OTA update three days ago. The one dated 9/27/16 with version number 3.39.531.21. It is available here: http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m9-t-mobile/news/
I have never rooted it, it being my son's phone, but I've rooted my own phones in the past.
We plugged it in and started the update and went to bed.
In the morning on the way to school, my son showed me the initial encryption screen. It would not take his password. He and I tried several times. He has allways had the same password and has never changed it - he is required to not change it without telling us or he knows he will lose his phone.
At a loss, I booted into the stock recovery and wiped the cache, and then did a system reset.
Now the Google "Verify your account" screen is impassable. It does not remember the Google account that we have always used with this phone, and so now there is no way to actually use the phone.
I also tried reinstalling the 3.39.531.21 update using the link above. The rom updated seemingly perfectly, but I still have the same security block.
I will be calling T-mobile to see if i get anywhere, but I also thought I would ask here since I doubt they will have much to offer me. This is not a stolen or transferred phone - we bought it direct from the T Mobile website brand new and the receipt for this phone is still in my email. My son's google account is the only account that has ever been on it. Is there any way to get around the google theft verification?
I have bought a Nokia 7+ (TA-1062) china varient with global rom installed. My problem is that in the play store my device shows as uncertified. I already contacted the Nokia support and also the play store support and unfortunately they don't seem to have any proper answer to my problem. The Nokia support suggested me that as I am using the china varient with global rom, it is showing as uncertified.
But the interesting fact is that few days ago I installed android P beta in my phone and because of some bugs I rolled back to the oreo rom and at that time my device showed as certified in the play store and then June update came..Installed it and again the same issue.
For the uncertified issue I am not facing any problem downloading apps from playstore. But in the nokia forum in the Nokia 6 section I found a post indicating that if a device is uncertifed it won't recieve any future updates. So, if that is the case then the whole point of buying a Nokia becomes redundant.
So, please guys help me. What should I do?
P.S: I have already registered my phone in the google.com/register using the GSF ID.
same situation here... cant use google pay because of this uncertified issue. I'm hoping next OTA update can fix this problem. So annoying
It's because your phone's SKUID is 600CN, not 600WW.
You can change it by this-----> https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-7-plus/how-to/guide-how-to-change-skuid-to-worldwide-t3808520
After changing it, you need relock your phone (critical and oem), Now google play should be certified.
BTW: unlock bootloader is required. You can ask hikari_calyx for help.
Hi everyone, I need some help on my new Note 8. I asked a friend to buy this phone in Dubai because it is cheaper there. And once I got it, I tried to update the software of the phone and I got a message saying "Your current software version is not supported".
Plus when I went to the Play Store to download Netflix, I can't find it. I went to the settings and found that in the Play Protect Certification my Device is not supported.
I need your help guys. I'm new in making a thread here and this is my first post. Thank You.
