Hello, I need help, I have change the superstamina.apk to the modded one which can show the led. That was for Rom .434 and this don't Run in 4.2.2. Can someone solve this problem and can say what is wrong, need I a other apk from 4.2.2? Or was the installation wrong? I have made it with the tutorial from here.
Thanks.

Stamina mode now on 4.2.2 shows the notification led all by itself no need to mod. If you screwed the rom, just reflash.
But, why isn't work lightflow?

I'm not quite sure how lightflow works or what it does. You can add that app to the list of exceptions, maybe?
Is it compatible with 4.2.2? If so, does it work with stamina disabled?
Stamina is the problem, without it, the app works, someone says it's an fault of Sony..
Can i reflash without losing my data? I have lost my old apk..

Are you using Flashtool? If so, when you pick the firmware you want to flash, just uncheck DATA option under the Wipe window.

Probably, as /system will be overwritten when flashing. Just root it again. It takes like 30 seconds.

When you use a app like lightflow then the led notifications from lightflow doesn't work. Without stamina it works fine.

Hi, i am using Xperia Z C6603. I'm currently on 10.1.1.A.1.253 rooted BL
I accidentally upgrade to the official 10.1.1.A.1.253 yesterday. So after reading around, i have manged to downgrade back to 434 using the flash tool beta 6.
Using NUT's method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2282415, i managed to upgrade back to the latest 253 rooted.
I have also installed Docomo status bar http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2202383for the extra power widgets.
However, a problem arise. my NFC logo is missing when i tired to turn it on. Surprizing, i am still able to use my NFC (able to turn on and off and beam files). But i am hoping for some assistance on how i can get back the NFC logo as per in the stock.
Any kind souls. pls advise?

i think some roms don't have the nfc icon on it. the official uk rom has it..... but this worked for 10.1A.1.434 Icon is set to false in build.prop , but you need to root your phone to set it to true... dunno if it'll work but u can try
Downlaod "build prop editor" from play store.
Start it and search for "ro.nfc.icon.enable=false", change this to "ro.nfc.icon.enable=true" and save it -> grant it root access and it will reboot your phone.
Regards,
iCEQB
after updating to .253 firmware I have the NFC logo visible all the time but I want it to be gone just like it was on .434 firmware (NFC was working but the logo not visible, thus I saved space).
The problem is, I've read about what to change in build.prop but the line where I'm supposed to change something is entirely missing on my phone!
I'm really not sure if I should just add it into the file and then change it as I like? I'm afraid it might break NFC or result in a bootloop if I do so, since that line wasn't present before.
Copy "build.prop" from /system onto your computer and search for the #NFC part.
On stock it looks like this:
Code:
# NFC
ro.nfc.on.default=false
ro.nfc.se.sim.enable=true
ro.nfc.se.smx.enable=true
[B][COLOR="Red"]ro.nfc.icon.enable=false[/COLOR][/B]
ro.nfc.vendor.name=nxp
ro.nfc.limitation.camera=true
In case you realy don't have that line in there, you can of course add it.
Change it and copy it back into /system and overwrite the old one -> reboot your phone and you should be set
Regards,
iCEQB
I'm just wondering what the reason could be why that line is missing in the first place. See, I've read on another forum, where people had that line already on their phone, and they changed it and it resulted in a bootloop.
On the other hand, I doubt that it would have serious results because it's only a small icon. But I'm not sure.
NFC logo missing at status bar is due to DoCoMo v7 status bar, not stock.
Changing at build.prop no longer working now if you had install DoCoMo v7 status bar.

I have done as per your instructions. Mine is already at enable=true.
However i still proceed to save it allowing root access and reboot.
No Luck...... NFC icon still missing
Appreciate your help though:good:
Maybe the DoCoMo status bar has a bug?

Think so. Mine was fine, then installed v7 and it went. Build.prop is fine.

I followed Nuts guide in completeness and the NFC icon show perfectly for me. Did the NFC icon work for you on the .434 release you downgraded to? If you are running root now on you phone, delete the folder that has been discussed in various threads here.

When you flashed the new ROM did you get a message at the end that NFC firmware was being updated, if not that is most likely why.

I am now starting to believe the issue is more likely coming from DoCoMo status bar. I have also renamed the ufc folder to ufc1. Renaming it to ufc does not help either. In fact after I rename it back to ufc and reboot, I cannot even switch it off or on.
Renaming it back to ufc1, allows the nfc to work again.
Yup, I'm being prompt of the nfc upgrading message at the end of the process.

Ok, i'm sorry. Noob question:
Why is so important to have the NFC logo on the status bar, if NFC is normally working?

Hey
I have C6903 with boot-loader unlock enabled (didn't touch it).
Currently I am running unrooted stock rom.
I want to root my device but I don't want (and don't have the time) to flash an updated rom each time android gets updated
long story short..
I want to get automatic system updates on rooted device without rerooting or reflushing my device.
In addition I would like to keep using some of sony's features (like stamina mode) but erase the rest.
thanks for the help!

You send me your phone in the post so I can do it for you.
I mean, in all honesty, how busy do you have to be so that flashing a rom is too much trouble for you.
You could have it rooted and flashed in the time between your two posts in this thread

In my Opinion when you will get a 4.3 or 4.4 Rooted and Deodexed Android and it satisfide your needs, then any Update is unecessary.
Stock is good.
Updates make huge changes and sometime they are not the right choice.
Like a new phone come on the market then is the same with Android.
You don't have to buy it.
Am I right?

On my N6 I've LED control, but with a Lite rom of Danvdh and the cataclysm mod. Works good, but .......root and TWRP.
This is a port of the stock Marshmallow T805 rom for the SM-T800.
Install with TWRP. Make sure you have the latest bootloader installed.

Use the IMAGE install button in TWRP.

Installed the ROM this afternoon and so far it's working fine. I just have a question and an observation.
The question is how can I root the ROM so I can use Xposed. The observation is that besides the network sign and other things that got removed because they don't make sense on the WiFi rom, there's still a "Download booster" option in Settings (which requires LTE) and the Messages app, which also doesn't work on SM-T800 - I think it's also tied with the Contacts app so it's not as simple as just removing it.
Besides that, thank you so much for this port! Even if there are no big changes and new features, it still feels good to have stock Marshmallow, after waiting so much time for it. But tbh I'm just waiting for an AOSP Nougat ROM so I can enjoy decent Android with split screen.

Just flash supersu with twrp.
Regarding the other stuff you mentioned.
It would be a waste of my time to do a full port of the rom by removing everything T805 related when the official rom will be out soon enough.

Just installed ROM and it took over 10 mins to boot up first time.
I'm a new to this but i got it to twrp and selected install and selected the ROM and flashed it. The Tab S wont do anything, it been stuck in the black screen mode. Its been like 20 mins. I tried to repeat the same steps and I'm stuck here again. Help please?

Did you actually reboot?
You may need to wipe dalvik cache. If that doesn't work the DATA partition itself.
