Wanted to try Shumash's SCHIZOID 2.10 , so flashed it, but now keyboard does not work.
So back to everlov.
Any idea how to make the keyboard work?

If you are referring to a Bluetooth keyboard, it will not work with CM10 or 10.1. You would need to downgrade back to a CM9.
If it is the Input device not working, try going into settings, location & input. Make sure a default Keyboard has been selected?

Meaby we not have drivers for that, compiled in kernel. You must ask arco, CastagnalIT or ivendor

sadly i cannot hep you, but in order to someone more experienced then me to help you, post all the specs of the keyboard, such as manufacturer model ecc.

ok, have you tried to check keyboard settings? you have probably to choose it as default system. i had some problem to get swypeBeta working at it was that. i know it sounds stupid but you have to check it there in order to get it work.
if you can try to test it with a not stock ics rom of another phone, just to be sure is not custom rom related

That would be in settings, language and text input and selecting the default, as in gingerbread gets connected but not written, tested on ICS Arco.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.Hello all thank you for you time. I'm running cm10.1 unofficial nightly build 05.22.13 on my touchpad with the latest adobe flash apk and Firefox app from Googleplay.
The issue that I'm having is my display would go to sleep as configure per my display setting while I'm streaming flash content at full screen. Not sure why this is happening and not sure if this is just my device. I didn't have this issue with cm9. Only notice this with cm10 and now 10.1. Theodd thing is that this issue is also happening with my nook color and nexus 7 with cm10.1
My current work around is setting display to time out 30 mins and touch the display every now and then.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Flash is being phased out and anything past 4.1 either doesnt work or partially works.

Flash is phased out but that doesn't mean you can't get it to work well. Its working great for me on my phone and tablet. Both running 4.2.2

I,ve been flasing custom roms since the touchpad and nook color was out so i'm curious to know what I did wrong with these installs. I've had this issue happened to me with multiple devices. Nexus 7 nook color and my touchpad . All install were done with complete wipe of device.

Flash has never worked well on 4.1+ ROMs on the Touchpad in my experience. Flash isn't supported on 4.1+ but on other devices its still smooth so its a Touchpad Android issue not a Flash issue.
If you want Flash stay with CM9. I went back to CM9 after being on CM10 a while because I wanted stable Flash and couldn't really think of any new CM10 features that I needed.

First and foremost thank you for your input. It is true that flash is no longer supported on 4.1 + but it can and should be stable once installed. One example I can provide is with my nexus seven. With stock rom and latest flash APk installed it runs Smoth no problem but when it is rooted and custom rom installed display issue occurs. Flash runs smooth on my Droid3 with CM10.1 even though the rom is far from stable. Also runs well on the Razr with stock 4.1.2 update. Its just on the Touchpad that 4.1+ have issues with flash in my experience.

I'm currently on jcsullin's CM10 rom. Mic works on skype however there seems to be an issue where mic wont work on any CM10 rom with Google hangout.
So can someone please check and let me know if SCHIZOID CM10.1 based rom has this issue resolved? If yes, I'm going to go ahead and upgrade even without the bluetooth.

This is taken from cars1198 cm10.1 rom. ALL CREDITS TO HIM all i did was extract it out for others to use on other 4.2.2 based roms.
CLARIFICATION UPDATE:
PMEM BASED ROMS wifi and camcoder breaks. Everything else should work including newer maps and better 3d performance.
ONLY ROMS THAT ARE ION BASED ARE IN MASS CM BY CARS1198
AND JFBS CM11

Very nice! I'm not sure what I did, but the camcorder apparently now works on my CM 10.1 install. The first recording played back garbled, but now it records perfectly. Maps should now work great on 4.2 roms.

it does i just test it. ill see if camcorder works in aoip. did noticed that wifi is broke in aoip but i dirty flashed. will test clean install later tonite. working on cm11 fix now.

Wifi worked on CM 10.1, so a clean flash may solve your problem. Good luck on the fix

I am psyched to try it with Slimbean. To flash a new kernel, do I need to wipe anything first, or is a dirty flash sufficient? I will make a nandroid first, just to make sure everything is copacetic. Exactly what does ION/PMEM give us that we did not have? Besides finally being able to upgrade to the latest build of Maps?

some 3d games i got to try work better. dirty flash should be fine. report any errors you find with slimbeam so i can add it to notes

Well, I just installed it and it seems fine. The phone is definitely faster. I will try to upgrade maps. Skype I'm leaving with the old version for other reasons.
It's like a new phone.... So smooth and fast. Wow! Still restarts if I try to start USB download mode, but I suspect I would have to reload the rom to fix that and it's not a big enough problem. It's too bad I lost my little startup screen android, but such is life.
Oops. Wi-Fi is no good. I will see if I hit the 4g ceiling. I suspect I will. Last time I went without Wi-Fi I hit the ceiling in a week. I don't want to wipe anything before I install, as this is my work phone.

Annoying I can't get wifi to work. I guess Slimroms took out a key component when they made the rom "slimmer."

Maybe slims kernel has issues or maybe a bad flash. Try reflashing or another gapps. People are having problems with kernels/gapps on the jfbs rom.

its old you are much better off getting the cm10.1 rom from cars1198 cm mass op. all 3 versions are on there 10.1, 10.2 and 11

I don't remember having any gps problems with that version. Have you installed the correct gapps ? The correct one being:gapps 4.2.2
If it doesn't work even after installing gapps and enabling all location settings , try installing another cm10.1 version , I recommend the cm-10.1-20131227-UNOFFICIAL-jenad.zip

if that doesnt work, try getting cm 11.
