Is this a good or horrible battery life? [Pics] - Motorola Atrix HD

Has been on airplane mode whole time since I am traveling in another country. Basically just listened to music for the whole time. Is this good enough battery life or does the battery just suck?

That's sick. It does look like 2.3 with all the green... I hope it is .
What's more impressive is the '2d 20h 26m 12s on battery' Does Gingerbread boost the battery life????
I think the 2 days is how long the phone has been up since last last boot. I don't think smartphone can be used for that long.

You can see the chart covers 3d 8h 48m, out of that whole time 2d 20h 26m have been on battery. Not all at once. You can see the battery charge go up a few times when it is charging.

Check out this Youtube at about 11minutes in. It is part of gingerbread and looks pretty polished. Great functionality IMHO.

yes it was lol. it was part of the press release. android will now kill apps more aggressively if they use a lot of cpu time

Will the Bionic extended battery work in the D3?

Was wondering if it would work? Can't find any info.
Dont think so, photon and defy work though

source: Dealextreme.. about 2,5 weeks wait, but it's worth a lot!
what do you exactly mean? That the bionic extended battery fits in the droid 3 battery slot?

The Bionic battery is considerably larger than the Droid 3 battery and will definitely not fit in the Droid 3.
what did he mean so?

I think he meant that the battery from the Motorola Photon and Defy work in the Droid 3. Attached are some pictures of a Bionic battery next to a Droid 3 battery, and the Bionic battery sitting on the battery slot of a Droid 3.

So was it better at least battery wise before root?
Just simply rooting doesn't do jack squat. Any change in performance or battery life is just a coincidence/fluke.
Galaxy Nexus GSM
I'm rooting tomorrow .....I just wanted to show a base line test .... I drained the battery when I got it.. ..and then charged to 100 percent. ...this is a record of my first full battery cycle and benchmark results
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
before I fully charged, quadrant reported my device running At 1300 now I can't get past 1200 but it does read a Max CPU of 1300 I thought this was a 1200 device. ... we'll see what the devs can do. if any ANY of the guys from the epic4g touch come to this thread I have super high hopes .
And yes you are correct rooting alone doesn't do anything for performance. ...now custom kernels one the other hand...

This. It does nothing by itself. It adds two files that don't do anything unless called upon by another app.

This is why I love my N7

6 hours at work today. 7m screen time on my gnex. Use tablet talk for my texts. Epic!

Lmao.
Gnex = Cellular modem lol
Poor Gnex. I still use mine though but not as much. The N7 for emails, Gtalk, XDA, and internet. Really saves my Gnex from dying so soon.

Does Tablet Talk consume much battery on the phone and tablet?
I don't think so at all, but I'll double check today. I don't get a ton of texts and it operates over bluetooth so I wouldn't imagine it is much of a drain.
My photon has been downgraded to a wifi hotspot for my 7. Its been very neglected

LOL, n7's battery is very impressive. It stays alive for a long time after I hook it up with WiFi.

My GSM GNex is getting no love since the N7 arrived...
Same here, my Gnex only saw 12 min of screen on time lol. Gotta love tablet talk!!!

The screen eats up the battery like nothing else, and it looks like during most of your battery drain, you had it on. Make sure you don't have the brightness set high, or even just set to minimum is plenty bright most of the time.
Thanks I will adjust my settings.

. 223 leak.... Same issue.
I have battery issues on 223 leak. Says android Os uses more battery than the screen... That is scary. Any ideas why?
In my case I have the "Bionic on tmobile" GSM/HSDPA hack activated and the signal is very weak (apparently this issue is only on ICS ROMs and not GB ROMs). The struggle to find a good signal drains my battery a lot even when the screen is off. When the signal is on, it shows up as "Android OS" using more battery than the screen. I find myself more often using airplane mode to conserve.
