It's not possibility, it's a fact. Cyanogenmod team publicly stated that they won't release cm9/10 for armv6.

If you wan't to get official one, try this :
Go to nearestshopinyourplace.com
Search phonethatsupportcm10.com
Done.
You now able to get offcial CM10 without flashing, and downloading.
:laugh::laugh:
-------------------------------------------
Sorry, but mini will never get any perfect ICS/JB because mini not really as fast as a GalaxySIII.

So the hardware in the sgs3 mini is that different.
I just checked the cyanogen mod github and it seems that no development related to this device branch has been created yet.
So well, let's wait and see ^^
This phone doesn't even have custom recovery image. We'll have to wait for that first.
It takes several months for a dev to come up with a working buggy alpha version. Just use Titanium to debloat the phone in the meantime.

I'm thinking about purchasing this device for my girlfriend.
When it will get CM10/CM10.1? She is already using Kindle Fire with CM and loves it...
Stock is so terrible.

Hi folks,
I finally managed how to get HALO into cm10.1.
This is pure cm10.1 by androidarmv6 team with halo.
For sources I succesfully adapted the first commit by Ugoraffaele and all the ParanoidAndroid's commits.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
My sources are on my GitHub, of course patches are welcome.
To do:
-Resize the bubble layout since the text doesn't fit completly.
-Create ldpi drawables. DONE.
-Put all the HALO options in a sub menu. DONE.
-Update to cm10.1.4. DONE.
-Add an option to completly disable HALO.
-Update to HALO 2.0. MAYBE IMPOSSIBLE.
All the credits goes to:
Androidarmv6
ParanoidAndroid
UgoRaffaele
CyanogenMod

Yeah, AOSP 4.2 would be really intesresting too :good:... I tested ur ROM, halo works fine it's great, but it random reboots without BadAss Kernel and doesn't perform very well :crying:

Many people have tried your ROM bro... Even ME
Halo works just fine... Infact I just had one Reboot till now... i am using it.
But the performance of the rom as any are pointing out is not that good because its 4.2.2
And iI am not able to flash performance enhancing scripts... it causes bootloop I tried every possible script out there.
So just my opinion is that Try implementing Halo feature on cm 10 if you are free and willing to do it... it will be amazing...
But THANKS for somehow bringing HALO feature to Mini... I love it... I rarely see notification BAR now...

in order to get official status the dev would need to take steps to making that happen
one of which would be registering their build and sources with the CM team
Maclaw and oliver can do that

Does anybody know why they didn't?
I'm supposing they answered this question an awful lot of times, but I (and suppose other) aren't able to find at least one place to read their answer.
Unluckily, other people's (not directly involved in development) opinions don't count.
Has this soomething to do with NovaThor not releasing sources? Are devs using some code they couldn't "officially" use? They should kill anybody they reveal the truth to?
@New Macław, @OliverG96 ?
Why? I want official cm too.

The GPS has always been qite hit and miss for the S because of hardware faults, although that can be changed (its under the general section)
Any rom based off CM10.2 (which includes Mackay, Helly Bean etc) contains updated GPS libs which apparently have boosted GPS speed/performance
Alternatively some roms contain AngryGPS which does help boost connectivity (in my cases at least, though this will vary)

It is great how many different ROMs are available for our device ...

For me and others of CM 10.2 GPS works fine as possible it could be because of the hardware ...:good:
