[ROM] [4.3.1][Discontinued] Touchwizmod - Motorola Atrix HD

Now with Arrrggh Kernel
Flashable: This is a flashable just flash like anyother rom. . Boot and setup and then go to settings then choose themes and click apply. A warming dialog will appear choose apply anyway and then reboot. The icons will now be touchwiz icons.
Includes Halo, pie and is zipaligned and odexed and has great battery life. I fixed the issue with apps not being compatable just download and flash the zip below
Thanks @CarbonDev , @skeevydude, and @arrrghhh
Do not flash gapps
4.3:
Will re up as soon as possible

Nice! Will give it a run later.
Any specific flashing instructions when coming from custom 4.2.2 rom?

Just restore it by extracting it and then put the backup folder from the .zip into the clockworkmod folder and choose restore in clockworkmod. It will reboot and be
ready. Also follow my instructions from the first post to install the theme
I would also appreciate if you leave feedback

First off, I had a hard time trying to download it from mega. When I finally figured it out, I extracted it, place the folder in my recovery directory and proceeded to run. I got an md5 error... Any suggestions?

ROM factory on the play store should be able to make that into a flashable zip for you.

Most likely a build.prop branding issue. PAC had a similar issue back in the day because I changed it from mb886 to qinara...You can also install a hacked play will all apps available. Gotta search for it cause I don't have a link handy for that one.
I lol when I see the name Candy Crush. The name reminds me of things ya do with a razor blade and a rolled up dollar bill....

Question What are the differences in deodex and odex? Which one should perform the best or is there a trade off between battery?

Every stock rom released is odex meaning that a system apk will have two files, the apk and the odex. The advantage is claimed by some that apps run smoother and overall performence is better but I think that is the placebo effect.
Deodex is both the apk and odex combined into 1 file leaving the apk. It is easier for a theme to be created on deodex rom as well as making other mods and tweaks.
One being better than the other is subjective and will vary in arguement from one user to the other. There is no difference in battery.

OC / Supercharger Script
This is sweet - thank you Dutch Danny.
Anyone know if it's ok to OC this stock rom, or run the V6 supercharger script, or both?
Edit: I just realized for the V6 Supercharger script, a rom has to have an "init.d" folder under system/etc, which this rom does not.

i believe there is no problem in OC..
even the orginal KH8 got OC with no problems at all..
i will do that soon..
though KH8 by itself is very fast,.
another thing worth adding is to get spare parts app and tick windows animations Fast and transition animation Fast..and it makes a difference IMHO

pershoots kernel works great with it. I do not recommend V6 because of instability. I had issues with it while back when I tried it and I have seen people report issues with it installed and removed it and everything was fine. Use at you own risk

Gummy rom 5/19/2012

what soars through the air? eats poptarts? and poops rainbows? its not a bird, its not a plane, its....its....its.... GUMMY ROM!!!
this is a port of the gummy rom found here
put into jokersax cm9 found here
another project brought to you by:
TEAM-MOTO-TEGRA
instructions:
requires a full wipe and same recovery used to flash jokers cm9
format system, data, cache
flash rom, flash rom, flash standard gapps, fix permissions, reboot phone
if you can't get it to boot try this:
thanks to punkrocknerd for this:
yes i got it working
so i used this ->>>>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421261
its an auto script for a full fastboot wipe
then i rebooted into recovery (i'm using RomRacer's)
flashed rom, flashed rom again, flash "universal gapps" (4/29), fixed permissions, reboot. reboot takes awhile guys, i just turned off my screen for 5-10min after the boot animation stopped. eventually the activation complete came up and i went from there.
technically we're supposed to fastboot wipe EVERYTIME we flash a rom There are leftover files even when factory data reseting via recovery...
hope i helped everyone!
changelog: based on gummy 1.2.1 and jokersax cm9 6.1
GUMMY ROM LINK

No flames here. I like respect. All Fix Permissions is boils down to this: It's setting how the files in the system can be used, and who (user, root, etc) can use them.
To do it, go into recovery, choose advanced, then fix permissions:
VOILA!

Aokpcb rom 5/26/2012

hello everyone,
this is a port of the AOKPCB ROM
put into jokers cm9
brought to you by
Team Moto Tegra
instructions:
flash on top of an already running cna, aokp, gummy, or jokers cm9 with just wiping caches.... coming from any other rom will require a full wipe (turl,miui,cm7,stock any of these will require full wipe)
for fresh install: for best results a fresh flash is recommended
format, system, data, cache,
flash rom, flash rom, flash gapps,
fix permissions then reboot phone
trouble installing using that method? try this one found here
known issues:
you tell me
current build: based on jokers cm9 6.9.1 and aokpcb build 37 nightly 05/26/2012
AOKPCB-Olympus-Team-Moto-Tegra
or can go here: to the aokpcb website, look for team moto tegra

The only differences between this and AOKP Milestone, for example... I guess would be the theme and some other customisation options.

[MOD] Navigation Bar for Epic on CM10

I really like the Nexus-style NavBar, but the default height when I set the "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" value in build.prop is too high at 48 px. I created a flashable zip for the Epic on CM10 that sets the height to 36px. It does not automatically add the "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" value though, you have to do that yourself.
This mod was created using the framework-res.apk from the cm-10-20130120-NIGHTLY-epicmtd build.I can confirm it works with that one, but it may (or may not) work with earlier builds. Make sure you have a backup
Installation
Edit system/build.prop to add qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Reboot/flash the zip
Hope you like it.
Special thanks to Ahmedabad for the guide on editing framework-res.apk and to Jamshedpur for the guide on using apktool.
Another cool thing I discovered is that once you add "qemu-hw.mainkeys=0" to build.prop and reboot, the System settings > System menu now displays a "Navigation Bar" option. You can add and modify your buttons there!
I added a search button, and made the menu button display all the time, and not by application. I'm loving CM10 more every day!
I'm using cm-10-20130120-NIGHTLY-epicmtd and when I flash this my phone won't boot :/ :silly:

Sorry about that - I have it on two Epics, mine and my wife's, and it worked on both. I've flashed it using CWM and TWRP. I even went back from 10.1 to 10 and reflashed it.
Let me check it out and get back to you.

That will do it! I have a zip for that one too - the only problem is that in landscape mode, the buttons think the screen is taller than it is, and the buttons seem far apart. It works great in regular portrait mode, though. Here, give it a try and let me know if you like it.

Edit system/build.prop file and change qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 to 1, then reboot your phone.
I dunno why my build.prop can't be edited using root explore, even I've made the permission become R/W..
any solution editing my build.prop?

I always use the editor that comes with the CM 10 File explorer. You just have to make sure you go into Settings and enable root access.
Thanks bro, my problem is solved

There was already a mod linked in the 10.1 thread. It looks like a case of multiple people working on it. When there wasn't a link to a working framework-res the one in this thread worked. When there wasn't one in this thread, the one in the 10.1 worked.

Thanks for the tip - I'll try and flash my original first to see if it works before I start making a new one!

I just added a new zip for the latest (experimental) 10.1 to the OP.
