Ok I think I'm in trouble....
I unlocked via htc-dev moethod and S-OFFed with moonshine...
after this I wanted to upgrade the firmware to 2.29...
I tried to relock the bootloader to flash via RUU, and said that bootloader was already locked...
ok, flashed the firmware.zip, it was fine...
rebooted to see if system was fine, it was
and now I need the custom recovery...I boot on fastboot and says TAMPERED and RELOCKED...but S-OFF is still there...
now I can't unlock the bootloader...
can anyone help please? thanx
U didn't need to re lock bootloader in the first place if you were s-off.
have u tried s-off again with revone?

I can't do that, I try with htc-dev method flashing unlock_code.bin but doesn't work...do you think I need to make another unlock code? I don't...
EDIT: ok, I did again the unlock code procedure and now my bootloader is unlocked...and S-OFF is still there...
I don't know if everything is ok...but it seems...thanks for your help

I thought once s-off you could just "fastboot oem unlock". But I may have seen that on the GE conversion thread, in which s-off wouldn't matter cause you can just do that anyway...

Trying to relock bootloader so I can run the RUU and return to stock. Something went wrong when I flashed a ROM and now get nothing but bootloops. Tried running the fastboot oem lock command in the folder with the unlock code from htcdev, but it says it's already locked. Hboot still says juopunutbear where it should say re-locked. What should I do?

You need to get back to stock hboot...pretty sure you can, but I don't know how to get it back as I stuck with the stock hboot when I s-offed

Could the stock HBOOT img be extracted from the RUU when its running/idle (just like the other partitions?)
And then flashed via Fastboot?
I ended up just flashing back to wcx's recovery and everything started working again. CWM is such crap on this phone. Thanks for the help anyways guys.

I'm confused here:
"and no i have s-off but my bootloader is locked? could i just unlock my bootloader and root or should i redo the s-off"
So do you have s-off or do you not have s-off
Just unlock the boot loader add a recovery and flash away...if it says s-off on hboot then there is no need to redo s-off, a ruu will not remove s-off

I'm s-off even though I messed up on the wire trick and have to RUU, but my bootloader is locked

lf your s-off just unlock the bl and proceed
Do fast boot OEM relock then flash the ruu and redo everything to get s off and root

How to Relock bootloader, Have "locked" sign, unroot phone. so that i can return it
Can anyone direct/guide me how to Relock my HTC ONE T-mobile bootloader, have a "locked" sign on my screen and unroot my phone totally with complete stock. THANKS MUCH APPRECIATED
AFAIK you cannot make it say "LOCKED" again unless you gain S-off and manually change what it says.
When you relock the bootloader, it says exactly that: "RELOCKED".
Search for S-off Revone..... That way u can

thanks for the reply sir, now after doing the "Lock". What is the next step for me to have a completely stock unrooted device ready to send back to T-mobile?

After doing s off.... And bootloader relocked.... Flash your tmobile RUU..... After that, you can remove the relocked bootloader status, and make it to Locked using revone, and in fastboot mode, you can come back to s on... Its mentioned in the s off revone thread on 2nd post...

Go to another htc thread and find it. All you gotta do is re lock the phone. Run the ruu and then a fast boot command. I think it's fastboot writesecureflag3. Double check. Its doable. I promise.

I have an friends HTC One which is LOCKED & S-off with Stock ROM running on it. I was wondering if there is any method to root this device without UNLOCKING the boot-loader.
Thanks in advance.

Yes. As you are S-OFF, you can flash a RUU based on 1.44 HBOOT, and use Revone to root/unlock bootloader without going with HTC Dev (assuming that is your goal) You will lose all data however.

So I had in the beginning accidentally erased my OS yet had TWRP. Well it took awhile, but I figured it out and I fixed it. Well I had the One S-off, unlocked with TWRP recovery. Not sure what happened, but I ran an RUU and now I am without an OS, stock recovery, locked boot loader, S-on (not sure how that happened) and I have supercid so my unlock.bin won't work. If I do the whole HTC dev would I get a new unlock token with supercid?

I'm not sure about doing the htcdev unlock with supercid. But since you still have super cid, you can flash any RUU you want.

I thought that, but they all fail. I thought they fail because now I'm S-on again.

The only thing you can try is doing the htcdev unlock again. Really strange.

An RUU shouldn't fail with super cid. What's the error message?
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda app-developers app
I can't remember, 155 I think.. supercid didn't seem to do s.... when I was s-off. Anyways I fixed it. Had to go around the block, so to speak. Ran the newest RUU for AT&T (I have T-Mobile) then I got a new unlock token for the stuck supercid. From there I unlocked, installed TWRP, and root. Did s-off and then I flashed the developers RUU and all's well again.
