[Q] Wifi problem

Hello! I just bought this phone today and I've just managed to unlock the bootloader and install my first rom. However my wifi has been acting very weird. It works when using stock kernel and stock rom but hasn't worked on a single custom rom. I've tried a lot of them as well such as "xenon" and "pac". What is wrong here?

I'm a new user aswell, but I used other phones b4 and I recommend you to factory reset before Installing these roms (If they are not installed over stock rom), if you install them over stock ROM(which means the zip file DOESN'T format your /system partition) you should consider a factory reset after installation.
Before trying these, if ROM developer told you to use a specific kernel, try to flash that kernel back, I had some problems while installing some kernels and could never get my Wifi to work until I reflashed the kernel.
Take a nandroid backup to your external sd card before trying these, better safe then sorry

Maybe e reflash using the lastest original kdz firmware and going to alll the root - > CMW(now is oficial) - > install custom room should be the way.

Is this ALL Wi-Fi connections, or just a particular one that you are having trouble with? Is the Router set to use WEP? If so then you're out of luck as WEP has big problems, but as it is old technology you shouldn't really be using it anyway.

[Q] No network access after nandroid in twrp recovery

Hi guys , I already posted thread here about internet not working after flashing radio because I thought that flashing radio messed up connection on my phone, so i reflash rom and everything was working fine although I didnt figured out what happened.
Today i went to twrp 2.6.0 and did nandroid backup of my current rom (viper one) ,so everything passed fine. After that since I reboot I am not available to access to internet over phone. wifi or 3g doesnt matter.
I have a lot of UnknownHostExceptions in logcat. I dont know what can cause this because I had internet then I did nandroid backup and I rebooted.
Tried to wipe out dalvik but that didnt help .
So exactly happen the same thing that happened to me when i was flashing radio through recovery , just in that case i thought it is related with radio so i reflashed rom. I wouldnt like now to reflash rom , so if someone can give me advice what to try ..

I'd flash the ROM again with a clean install and see if the problem persists. It's not ideal with having to set up everything again but it normally solves any issues.

i would like to try to solve it differently

I already solve same problem last time with reflashing. Wanted to try to solve situation where I have that problems with internet every time when I install something from recovery , I wonder if it is something with twrp 2.6.0
did anyone have similar issue ?
If it is from any help i am using elemetalx kernel .

Well I'd upgrade to the latest version of TWRP for sure but I use the stock Kernel so can't help with that side of it.

Actually I have latest twrp 2.6.0.1 , i couldnt find later on their site ..
It looks like some problem with dns , but I dont get it why as it was working everything fine before going to recovery to do nandroid backup.
I will provide logcat here as well if will be anyone that can help

[Q] [ROM][SlimKat][4.4.2][unofficial] network issue

at first i try to post in the related thread, but i havn't enough posts to do this.

After flashing the latest ROM my phone can't get a network connection. Wifi works. I used CWM 6.0.4.7, SlimKat Build 3.6 and the latest gapps from SlimRom (Build 3). I can't receive baseband, network, phone number or IMEI in the settings. All is unknown. Also when the phone starts, it doesn't ask for my PIN.
Re-install doesn't work. Another SIM doesn't work, too. CM 10.1.3 works fine.
Model: GT-I9305
Provider: Vodafone
Baseband: I9305XXUEMK1
Some ideas?

That is not a rom problem, for sure.. What can I say, you are doing everything right, but I might recommend using Philz recovery, I've never had any problem with it. Reboot recovery, full wipe and then flash

Try to flash with Odin latest stock 4.3 kernel and then try again with wiping everything before.

Today I flashed the new SlimKat 3.8 (still with CWM) and it works Maybe it was a problem with the ROM.

For sure it was problem with ROM. Actually with radio ROM, not the Android itself.
Make a backup of your ROM and save radio image from it.
Then you can flash some other ROM you like and flash this working radio image after that.

My Watch is bricked

Hey guys I unlocked the watchs's bootloader and installed TWRP. Then I downloaded a few ROMs, flashed one of them and now my watch boots straight to TWRP instead of the ROM. I tried flashing other ROMs but same thing happened. Also I was stupid and I didn't do a nandroid backup :/
Any help plz?

Could you tell us which ROMs you flashed? LeeDrOiD's Urbane Port should work fine
You can try the Stock Images provided here if nothing else works

I tried to flash 5.1.1 rooted ZIP file (bricked) and then I tried LeeDroid (still bricked). I'll try that one, thanks. Also, I tried flashing it from Android Wear 4.4. Would that be a problem?

I really need some help to make my LG G4 H811 work.
I flashed latest lineage-14.1-20170404-nightly-h811-signed.zip but my camera app "Keeps Stop Working". I tried other camera apps, none of them work.
I also flashed cm-13.0-20161010-NIGHTLY-h811.zip, same problem
I even flashed stock (but rooted) ROM, LG-G4-H811-20R-Stock-Debloated-Rooted, still the same problem.
I am using twrp-3.0.3-0-h811.img (the latest version for H811) and flash my phonh using ROMs from SD card.
Before I flash anything, the camera worked fine out of box.
Should I bring back stock ROM with LGUP/KDZ? However, I really need some 3rd party ROM working because I need multiple-user feature which is disabled in Stock ROM.
Any suggestion is very much appreciated.

mmmm maybe its twrp.. not sure wich one i used that whenever i flash a rom it gave me errors non stope of camera.. and other stuff... you should use steadyfastx twrp not official.. its a beta..

only thing is missing that i know is reboot to recovery from recovery...

thank you for the kindly reply. The issue has been solved by flash Stock 20p KDZ first in download mode then flash the same LineageOS through TWRP. Not sure which step really fixed the issue though.
I do have issues of video recording for 4K and 1080p, which is OK to me for now.
