I am having issues with the latest Skype version. I am not allowed to switch between different logins, so I am going to downgrade. Does anyone have a link to an older version of Skype I can install on my phone? Thanks.

I just bought T Mobile G1 2 days ago, and I want to update it from 1.1 to 1.5
But I have different phone information from the tutorial that I read, so I'm still using 1.1 version.
This is the description:
Baseband version
62.33.20.08u_1.22.12.29
Kernel version
2.6.25-01843-gfea26b0
[email protected] #6
Build number
123099
I have no idea what RC number that I'm using.
Please Help mem I really want to update this phone to access some new application.
Thank you.
Are you rooted and in the US? If it is a stock US phone 1.5 should come OTA.
If you don't want to wait, see this: http://www.androidcentral.com/how-manually-install-android-15-cupcake-us-version

Nope, I'm at Germany. OTA?! What is that?! Sorry, I new at this.
Is it the process save?Because I'm afraid it is only for US or UK.
OTA = over the air. Basically your phone service provider will automatically send you the update in a few days.
However, I am not knowledgeable about Germany, and don't know what OS version is used there, how OTA updates work, and most of all whether or not that link is a US only version (99% sure it is - especially because the link says "US version").
Good luck finding help.
you would probably just be better off rooting and getting the newest ROM.
here is the information i found most useful for me when i first rooted.
here are the links to Cyanogen's stable & experimental roms, i've used both and i personally love the experimental version.
hope this helps.
Use THIS guide. It is based on the one linked by davidchill but it has pics, updated links, changed wording for better clarification, and a few steps added to avoid confusion. Also when you are done with that there is a program in post #2 that will walk you through partitioning and do all the math for you.
the two 5.xx versions are from korean roms, would the older versions work better for canada? can i install it on a rom that uses a later version?

Though they first appeared in Korean Roms, the 5.XX radio's are not Korea specific. In fact, the 5.08 radio was included in the Gingerbread OTA from Google. Gingerbread had a requirement for 5.XX radios but CM removed this for CM7 which allowed older radios to work.
Different people have different results. Try both radios and determine which works best for you. I personally use the 5.12 radio.
thanks. ill try out other radios and see how it goes. my hspa goes on and off while in use and i have to restart the browser or app which gets annoying.
i had the same problem...i had to restart the phone in order for it to work...then i uninstalled the update on the new android market and my hspa somehow is working fine now.

As far as I understand (which isn't very much, to be honest), you probably can't flash the ATT version to your phone. But if you're interested in rooting your phone and all that, you can probably flash different ROMs that will keep you up to date with the newest Android releases, like CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android, AOKP, OmniROM, etc. I don't have all the technical know-how, and I won't tell you which ROMs are "best" or even which are available; you can always check out the Android Development section for that stuff.
push
can anyone give me some information about that
Does somebody know where I can find the T819 official stock rom?
I tried to search for it with google but I'm not sure if I can trust the sites that have it (also, many of them have the latest version of the rom, I want the old version, not the latest). Is there a site where it's safe to get it? (better if from Samsung itself).
P.S. I need the IT version.
Thanks.
