[Q] Notification bar shadow (?) - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hello. I have just started to try out some custom ROMs and I did fond 2 I actually like. They are both CM 7.2 but there is one thing that bothers me the most that is probably not a big deal to most.
Whenever I tap on the notification bar, I see a transparent shadow following it down. It keeps on following when dragging down and stops about when in the middle of the dockbar icons of the ADW launcher. That shadow gets random sizes and it's hard to not notice while screen is white.
It might not be very visible on the picture but it was the best sample I could get.
Is there a way to hide it or to just make it less visible?

A very noob question

If your using Manila 2D and you use the bar at the bottom to navigate away from the home screen, the pic that I made as my backround dissapears. Is there a way to fix this, or tell me how to change them without changing my whole theme. I have already added a clock I really like, and neon icons. I just want to change the backrounds in places other than the home screen and maybe change the color or style or the bar itself.

N1 Image burn on the status bar

Has anyone notice the image burn on the status bar? Have you tried either with Launcher Pro BETA or ADW Launcher without status bar and with lighter background to see if your Nexus One showing the image bar burn on the display?
Its a known issue and has been discussed a million times.
There's nothing you can do about it. I've heard if you let your screen on for hours with a white image it will go away in time, but you need to combine this with a launcher that hides the notification bar.
Nothing new. Darker status bar and rotating the screen helps to keep this from hassle happening.

[Q] Looking for static live wallpaper app

Hi
I have launcher pro and ive made the status bar transparent. My problem is that launcher pro crops the wallpaper and so there is a black bar at the top of the screen(status/notification bar). The only way around this is to use a live wallpaper.
Ive found multi live picture wallpaper but there are a few issues. First it doesnt let you scroll the image left and right as you can with a normal wallpaper. Second it is extremely slow and laggy. When rotating the screen it takes at least a second or two to load the wallpaper back in.
All I want is a live wallpaper that is exactly the same as the normal static wallpaper chooser but it is instead a live wallpaper so it actually fills teh screen behind my status/notification bar. Anyone know of such an app?
Maybe try switching launchers? I use the ADW Launcher and I have to say it works much smoother. The above errors you stated, I don't even recognise.
You can find it in the market
I've already paid for launcher pro. I cannot find the widgets that come with it else where and id rather not pay for them individually if they exist.
Launcher pro is brilliant, apart from this one flaw. Its just finding a fix...
I use launcher pro and I don't see any black bar when I hide the notification bar. Are you sure your wallpaper is of the right size?

Hi snapper,
I'm not hiding the notification/status bar. I've made it transparent, "glass like" so that you can see through it.

[Q] Need help with wallpaper behind translucent notification bar

Hey Guys,
I know there is a lot of interest in having a translucent notification bar, and so I've MetaMorphed mine to translucent from droidpirate. It is translucent, but looks black because the wallpaper does not extend to behind the notification bar. I've found workarounds to extend the wallpaper behind the status bar in custom launchers for other phones, but none of them have worked for me on the Bionic.
I'm new to skinning and I've tried to read up on this particular issue, but I'm hoping someone with more experience can put me on the correct path.
Edit* I'm starting to think the issue is with the stock gallery app requiring you to crop an image before apply it as a wallpaper...
Thanks,
Jason

[Q] xposed modules question

So im loving the exposed stuff got my phone looking snazzzzzyyyy
except i have changed the status bar to white (to give a bit of contrast) however the notifications drawer (when you pull it down) sort of conflicts with the colors (the notifciations is black and only goes about 3/4 the way over the status bar) is there anyway of changing the parameters of the notifications? (not the status bar because i tried reducing the size of it and in some apps there is grey areas and it looks daft)
any help would be hella awesome!
thanks
chris
