Hi guys
I've been monitoring my battery for a few days now, and I've seen that my battery drains a lot when it's inactive.
According to these pictures, 43% of my battery came from not using it (under 20 hours).
How can I determine what's draining my battery, because I'm not very skilled in pointing out the process that's draining the battery.
I've included some pics to help you guys (Dutch, sorry, but I hope the icons will help you).

You should install BeterBatteryStats from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
And the let it monitor for a while. Look under partial wakelocks and kernel wakelocks what is draining your battery.
I bet it's face book app. I had same perineum with my note 2. Just uninstall it and I'm fine now
Allright, I'll check that out.
Give me a few days and you'll hear back from me
Install BetterBatteryStats, launch it so it can set it's reference, then start with a full charge.
HTH.
In addition, GSAM Battery Monitor also gives a few hints, using the built in "app sucker"

I've been using the BetterBatteryStats app for a few days now.
Apparently the "msm_hsic_host" and "PowerManagerService" are causing the most wake locks.
After some googling I couldn't find an answer to fix those issues.
The search also revealed that the wake locks are caused by the Snapdragon.
Any suggestions to fix this and extend the battery life?
Thanks!

Search for the free xda special version of better battery stats and install it. Continue using your phone in a normal manner and after a day or two you should be able to tell exactly where your battery goes.

I had a very similar issue on my phone. In the end I had to do a factory reset. My phone went from lasting maybe 4-5 hours to over a day now. Good luck
please post back with app you think is causing this!
No one can tell you which app is causing a drain. Use the link I posted above to look into what is causing it, bit of self help?
It may be your sync settings and waking the phone up in the background like email, fb, twitter, eBay, news apps.
Better battery stats will show you

Check what you have in 'Running Applications' in settings and post the screenshot.

I bet it would be WhatsApp, mostly when you are connected to any internet source.
But when I go to sleep , wifi and data are off :;S
Then I don't know, it may be weird, but I had a battery drain too, that was caused by Maps application, and it drained even with disabled GPS option.
You can still try, disable/kill this app after you stop using it, leave for night and you'll know. For me it worked.
I never use Maps , but I will go to freeze this
Thx
PD: MAPS ARENT INSTALL ON THE CM
alright, so let's clear stuff up in here:
your battery drain is neither caused by whatsapp, nor maps.
the only important information is in the kernel wakelock pic. baseband wakelock is causing your battery drain. nothing else (at least not really, every app causes a bit battery drain ). this is a tegra 3 issue. there's no way to solve it for now.
And not are solutions?
i have the exact same problem, tried everything to solve it, changed the baseband with 20A from HK too, with no results...
randomly run out this issue, still cant settle this proble...
I have SGS4 Active int'l. I'm using stock 4.4.2 rom. Even if I bought Greenify, I have a terrible battery life. What should I do to improve it? I tried battery calibration app but I'm not quite sure I did it right. Is there any other options?
What apps are you running? Reason for me asking, I run a few apps that use the wakelock permission, this causes the phone to never enter a state sleeping when the screen is off, thus draining the battery.
Things like livewallpapers will also create a battery drain. Just disabling my livewallpaper gave me about another hour of run time.

First of all: identify your battery eaters! Try something like better battery stats http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809 or similar. Wakelocks, apps running amok or something else could be part of your problem. Or it could be wrong expectations? You didn't state your battery stats... A screenshot of battery usage would be the first step

Is my battery life doing okay? I mean. It lasts for a day but sometimes it doesn't. Tell me if it's doing okay.
There's nothing wrong with ZR battery...it's how it's used individually & will vary from user to user. I recently added https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.avast.android.batterysaver to my apps & will keep any misbehaving apps from overusing battery plus you may even get an improvement on longevity between charges. I usually get a few hours short of a day and half now.

How does the app save your battery?

I've already set the app to run on high priority, but it still doesn't properly track usage. This may have something to do with lollipops aggressive memory management, but I had no issue on lollipop with both last year's Moto x and the s4.
Ps I'm on the free version.

GSam says the time reported is from "custom reference". Change the GSam setting to be something else...
Since last full charge would probably be the most obvious. But some people prefer since last unplugged.
Touch the 'delta' symbol (triangle) at the bottom of the GSam screen.

I know I specifically set it to custom because it reportes the last charge was 2 days ago

Well I don't know what to tell you then...
When I have GSam set to 'since last full charge' it matches the usage of the built in battery stats (which are also calculated based on 'since last full charge').
If you use a different reference point in GSam, of course it won't match the stats on the built in app...
