I do get it in some 1900 reframed areas. I have an international running trickdroid with the tmo baseband.

According to the spec sheet at HTC, they use different LTE radios:
4G - LTE:
Europe/ Middle East/ Africa: 800/1800/2600 MHz
Asia: 1800/2600 MHz
T-Mobile (US)/ AT&T/ Canada/ Latin America: 700 MHz and AWS band
Sprint: 1900 MHz
EDIT: You said "international model", I assume you don't mean the unlocked developer and 32 Gb model. Those use the ATT radio and should pick up LTE on TMO.
Looks like I can't get it then, no 1900mhz in my area

because one was released in the UK and one in the US.
and no.
very much the same. only different is the 3g baseband.
thrill has 850, 1900
o3d p920 has 2 versions: 1. 900 / 1900 / 2100
2. 850 / 1700 / 2100
check your phone provider baseband use so that you buy the right one to get 3g/4g

I thought the Thrill has 850/1900/2100 WCDMA band and the O3D has 900/2100 WCDMA band. O3D will not work with US 3G but Thrill will work with Eu/Asia 3G.

you are right about thrill with 850/1900/2100
http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_thrill_4g-3886.php
for some reason phone arena post different lacking 2100
http://www.phonearena.com/phones/LG-Thrill-4G_id5327
i am sorry about that
as for o3d, i have a version that has 850 / 1700 / 2100 and confirm it works with u.s 3g/4g tmobile
They are the same except one is made for Europe the other for ATT USA. You can use both roms interchangeably.

Yes, and there are 2 types in Australia The GT-I9305 which is the one you can get in europe and is classified the International/Europe Version.. etc.....
And then..
You Have Telstra which brought out the GT-I9305T which is basically the same thing, I really dont think there is a difference, And IF there is a difference (a big IF) it maybe does not have the 2100mhz 3G frequency as telstra has shutdown that part of the 3G network in August.
But other then that it should be exactly the same as the I9305. Everything is compatible between the 2, Kernels, Firmware etccccc
Hope this helps.
Hmm - the service menu in my i9305T shows a choice of WCDMA 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and "IMT2000" - no 2100. Not sure whether that means much....
My unit bought from Clove won't work with HSPA 850 MHz band, despite the specsheet saying that it does indeed support such a frequency. I tried 3 different SIMs from 2 carriers in Thailand and couldn't get any signal. The phone doesn't have any problem with HSPA 900/2100 MHz though. I'm not sure if I have a faulty hardware, or the phone simply doesn't support HSPA 850 MHz networks.
I also tried factory resetting the phone several times, but in vain.
Is there anything that I can try to make it work? All of the RUUs available for download here have older version of radio.
Thanks!
Same problem in Australia

Thanks for your reply. At least I'm not the only one. Please share with me if you ever find a solution.
I'm not sure if the issue lies in the hardware. Would really like to try flashing different radios and see if it unlocks the band in question.
We are hoping it is firmware related as well. Will have to wait for S_Off before the radio can be flashed though

How do you know the phone u have is EU version and not from other region which not support 850MHZ?
The EU Version (which is what you will get from Clove or Expansys) doesn't support 850Mhz. There is a thread on here somewhere which details this, but I'm on mobile and can't find it right now.

As far as I've ever head the GSM is limited to the edge network, which leads back to my previous point.
