Cherry pick list
* CyanogenMod's latest merges: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-12.1,n,z
* CyanogenMod's Github: http://github.com/cyanogenmod
This is a kang of CM12 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod’s Gerrit Instance, compiled by a group of volunteers that enjoy learning about and building CyanogenMod and Android in general. All credit goes to cyanogen, #teamdouche and the coders who submit to Gerrit. Thank you to @RyanMacG for providing Euroskank hosting.
These builds are bleeding-edge, most comparable to a nightly build, and are not meant for inexperienced users. Things will be broken and crash from time to time, you need to accept that this isn't stable by any means before flashing. Nandroid as often as possible.
How to post useful, informative bug reports:
Sometimes dev's actually check out our threads, or sometimes we have a good relationship with a dev or two. These bleeding-edge builds will have issues, and having good information on what's broken is great feedback before a feature is merged. Here are some good bug reporting tips:
* No bug reports while using custom kernels or add-ons:
CyangenMod's own bug reporting tool does not accept bug reports from people using non-stock kernels for a reason, so why should we? CM can merge changes to their kernel causing custom kernels to break things until they catch up. Therefore, please do not post any bug reports while using a custom kernel or add-on such as Xposed Framework. Post your issues with custom kernels in their own respective threads as they are the ones who need to play catch up. Any bug report posted in this thread should be while running CM's stock framework and kernel, as this prevents unnecessary clutter.
* Gapps are not a CM issue:
CyanogenMod is built to run without the assistance of Google's proprietary apps (gapps). Having issues with your Google account and syncing is a gapps issue, not a CM issue. Please do not post about any gapps related issues, just wipe data and try a different gapps package.
* Posting about the same bug every build:
Beating a dead horse with "bug X still isn't fixed" posts just adds unnecessary clutter and provides no help into actually fixing the issue. Some bugs take days to squash, some take weeks. Please don't report the same bug every time a build is uploaded.
* Logs:
Provide logcats when applicable. Use a service like Pastebin and put a link to the log in the post. Please do not post logs directly to the forum.
If these requests are too demanding, there's good news! CyanogenMod is open source, so please feel free to download the source code, compile your own builds volunteering your time and resources, then start a thread and run it however you see fit. All we simply ask is that people post good, reliable information that can be passed on to a developer that can actually do something with it, making CM a better product for everyone involved.

First off I want to say that I’m not building this port, I'm just posting it here. x0xhellx0x is building it for you. This is in open beta stages as I don’t have a p990. But I do want to share the wealth again. The good folks of the p990 community should be intertwined with G2x... and idk why we aren’t... So here is our ROM for you all...
This is ported from the g2x version listed here by x0xhellx0x.
This a Rom Built for CM9 Working libs and bin from source (listed below). Thank you CM_Arcee and the rest Of Cyanogenmod Team

Please follow the guide listed above if you have any problems. Usual story here when going to flash this ROM. Wipe all including /system then flash our ROM. Also make sure to flash gapps and then fix permissions.
Also being that I don’t have a p990 I want to add my disclaimer. This is a ROM for personal use so if you brick your phone flashing this ROM don’t blame me or the DEV. However we are more than happy to provide support for this ROM.
Since its in BETA, I DONT WANT ANY ONE SAYING THIS OR THAT DONT WORK UNLESS YOU POST A LOGCAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks go to x0xhellx0x for dev'in this ROM. And to Owain94 for his support on our ROMs. Also thanks go to the whole CM team for them just being awesome! And last but not least thanks to you, the end users. Without you all we wouldn’t have this awesome ROM to share with. I hope y’all enjoy and let’s continue to rock good roms for the p990!!!!
Also I'm not looking for beta testers as I’m taking the open beta approach. However if anyone would like to be then maybe I might consider putting a team together or also if I get enough people asking for such then ill consider it as well....
.:Screen Shots:.
Hope you all enjoy and please keep me posted if there are any issues.

short answer, its some good tweaks that Hell has put together for us... but its Linaro plus tweaks actually.
So basically it STILL has the same issues as all the ICS roms found in the O2X threads... no hardware acceleration, camcorder not working, etc..., right?

But are you sure it belongs to Original Development ?
It definitely doesn't fit to an Original Development Forum.

Take a guess why there is this forum order? You didn't get to know the old "order", right? It was more like a chaos.

What do you call "instantly fails"?
Does it give you a bootloop?
Can you even flash it?
Did you wipe before installing it?
Which firmware are you running?
Right now it'd take too long to download this rom as the place where I'm currently has a very bad internet connection - otherwise I could try to reproduce your problems.
But anyway, the more details you give on a problem the easier it get's to help you.
First thing's first I know I'm off topic with this but you Sir need to calm down there is no reason for you to come on this thread and start flaming anyone who doesn't do what you want them to do. With that being said not everyone is German so we're no living with strict rules or order so take that into consideration. People are different so just relax and accept that.
Have a good day

Ah I don't have it anymore, sorry. I'll redownload and provide an md5 if I can't flash again. I'm using twrp if it makes any difference (I know some phones had an issue with the updater binary previously).
As for goo.im, I don't know why people keep complaining about it lately.. I'm still getting great download speeds from them. I did donate 10$ to be upgraded to a sponsor, though, so that's probably why I haven't hit the wall yet.

Fantastic, Carbon was my favorite rom for the Optimus G. So far running very smoothly, not a single lag. Will HALO be implemented eventually?

ROM OS Version: 4.4.x KitKat
Based On: AOSP
Version Information
Status: Stable
Current Beta Version: 4.2
Beta Release Date: 2014-03-25
Created 2014-01-31

That image with Halo is false advertising lol
Also, cj360 has builds for our family:
http://www.drdevs.com/devs/?dir=cj360/Aospa-remix
UPDATE: Halo is dead. Also TabletUI is impossible due to 4.4 code, and there is no PIE as of 2/23/2014. A lot of features are missing compared to 4.3 PA, so be advised, flash addicts.
Lol true but the ROM is still in beta. And I didn't knew he build one for us...my next project I am working on is omni ROM. It just sucks that Ubuntu does not run well on some APUs

Here the good news is that you finely did it bro. Great to see more users learning the long run which is developing. Great job.

Haha I've also been looking into setting up a build environment for Omni since cj360 has PA covered already, but it's a lot to learn for setting up the manifests and device trees. Great job on getting a working build BTW!
Yeah I have everything set up. I already I did a quick build which it runs like butter but radio is not working so I got to wait and see if I can fix the PA lightbulb app before I start again with omni ROM ...its just hard with my system right now as I had to buy a budget PC because so low life broke into my house a few days before the holidays

Sweet, thanks for the rom man, I installed it works very smooth but maybe I missed something there is no paranoid preferences at all

It's true he does have builds up, but I just flashed his and the screen doesn't work whatsoever. It showed the initial choose language screen but I couldn't tap anything. The power button was the only thing that worked.

FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK
THE DEV TEAM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE YOU CAUSE TO YOUR PHONE
** Please be aware some builds may not work, and be patient with the Vanir team as they continue to sort stuff out **
DIRECTIONS
Boot to Recovery
BACKUP
Wipe System/Data/Davlik/Cache
Install Rom
Install Gapps
Wipe Davlik/Cache
Profit!
°°For those flashing custom kernels°°
Be aware- Vanir includes a script that enables their own kernel tweaks. This script does not play well with flashing custom kernels. The solution!
Flash ROM
Navigate to- /system/etc/init.d/
Delete the file- 00kernelcompat
Reboot to recovery
Flash kernel
Profit!
You can also open the ROM zip on your PC before flashing and remove the file from the same directory then flash the ROM and you're good to flash the kernel.
**If you dirty flash between nighties, DO NOT wipe system or data before flashing the ROM. It will wipe gapps and the ROM install script won't be able to restore them**
That said, a clean flash is always recommended

I just searched the Xda thread for the N7 (2012) and could not find a discussion on the Vanir ROM. It would be cool to run the same Rom on my N7 and S4.
Where can I find the Vanir ROM for the N7?

There isnt a thread for every device supported by Vanir. 48 to be precise. If you click the download link then go to the parent directory you'll see downloads for all supported devices. Here's the link to make it even easier: http://www.emccann.net/nuclearmistake/VanirAOSPNightlies/:good:
