[Q] can't connect data connection

hi, i just fix my 3 button problem
but now i cant connect to data, both 3g and edge
i dont know why,
is there any setting after i installed samsung canada version to my phone to enable the data?
it works fine with wifi
i'm using optus.

You are missing the APN information. APN settings are needed to connect over cellular data. Look over internet for the settings or call your phone company to send you the settings.

Wifi reconnection problem.

I just got a Tmobile galaxy tab refurb, and when ever the tab is in sleep mode for over an hour and I turn it on the tab won't connect to my router. I wold have to turn off my wifi and then turn it back on for it to connect. Any works around this?

Go ti settings and tell ur tab to never turn off wifi wile sleeping

Are you having reconnection issues with other WiFi devices on your network? Because this is usually a Wifi/router problem. I don't think it has anything to do with your galaxy tab.

I have the same problem and extremely unstable wifi performance and it looses connection even with very good reception. I havea netgear 3300 router with both 2.4 and 5 kHz networks and the only device that works badly is the tab. I have 20+ other devices with no problems at all of which 4 are other android devices.
I live in an area with 15-20 other wifi networks and perhaps it would help to disable all other networks but the settings for wifi is very basic and not many options exist. I have a DBT device with stock JMG FW.

JMG/JMF problem. I had none of this issue while my firmware was JK5. Now it sucks and still waiting for Gingerbread to come to Kies.

Wifi problem with ICS and JB roms!?

I currently have 2.3.6 GB on my phone(I9000) with this I can use hidden Wifi networks! But ICS and JB roms I cannot use hidden Wifi networks, they always stop at authentication and give authentication error, normal Wifi networks work perfectly. My friend has ICS on his Galaxy S III and he can use this hidden Wifi. What can be the problem?

I'm sorry for you, but at home and at work i have hidden SSID's and never got a problem with that. Neither with CM9 nor with CM10. But other networks (it appears nearly random for me) never worked for me for ICS and JB. I think it's maybe driver related and will never be fixed
If you have access to that network, try changing security settings and try to connect your phone again.

Wifi Issue in Emanon rom

hello thr xda i am a newbie here and have just rooted my mini and flashed emanon rom v7 and am facing wifi issues in my mini now...
wifi is not being detected but wifi is on..
sorry if my question is stupid...

what you want to do, connect to data through on mobile through wifi or want to give your data connection to another wifi device or want to enable ad-hoc wifi

im having the same problem....just turn of the wifi and turn it back on...it works for me

Wifi Issue
I am having a issue where if the wifi is restarted a second time(using toggle buttons in status bar)...the phone reboots or if its done through the wifi settings page it shows 'error' under the wifi text(instead of 'turning on')......what can be the problem...plz help.me solve this....Thanks!!

I need help.I use my phone to scan for wifi ,my phone can't scan my own wifi but other wifi signal.I thought maybe it's my own router got problem but when i use my ipad to scan,it can scan yet connect to it.So,what's the problem?

sometimes this happens to me too, but after switching the wlan off amd on again my ace find the wlan

Try to flash the lastest stock rom via odin
