I compiled CM 10.2 for the Tablet Z LTE Version. So far everything seems to work. Do not forget to make a Backup before flashing this.
I wiped data before I tried it, so I don't know if you can flash this over CM 10.1.
Working:
- Bluetooth (sending a file)
- GPS (Going outside getting a fix in 5 seconds)
- LTE (Internet with WiFi off)
- WiFi (Internet with WiFi on)
- Sound (Played Youtube Video)
- Graphics (Epic Citadel Benchmark
- Touchscreen
- SDCard
Not Working:
- Nothing I noticed

I built the official tree, but added a few binary blobs updated from the 307 firmware and the Xperia Z 4.2.2 release. Its not an official nightly from CM hence the UNOFFICIAL
How is it with bugs? Its stable enought for daily use? You said you added some stuff from the .307 Firmware... Is the better touchscreen Performance included?

The Touchscreen Fix is included. The only bug I encountered yesterday was a rendering issue with the keyboard in Chrome. But with the Update today this is gone for me. I used it for a day now and for me its as stable as CM 10.1 was. But that is subjective, your opinion may differ.
New build uploaded. Also a Screenshot for your viewing pleasure Epic Citadel with Ultra High Quality running at Full Resolution with 33.4 FPS
Thank you much for your build. I installed it with no issues and until now, everything seems under control.
Good job.
Thanks a lot for throwing this together... everything is working great besides the (previously mentioned) screen issue in chrome. The only thing besides that that I've been struggling with is the absence of tablet UI, but it's a small price to pay for the jump from Sony's 4.1.2 to a functional 4.3 Rom.

Anybody that can confirm of you turn NFC off you cannot turn it on again?
Does it work....
Been using this ROM for a few days. It works quite well. It seems to be much faster then the older CM versions.
I have only found a few problems with this.
First is the keyboard. It cliches some times. This happens mostly when using chrome or other browsers. Part of the screen goes black and then comes back to life. After this happening sometimes the keyboard is not visible at all . No biggie, the buttons still work so you can just press the arrow down to get rid of the keyboard and then open it again.
The clock crashes. This has happened at least 3 times. Does not seem to effect the ROM however.
The biggest problems actually seem to be with the gpu. I play real racing 3...A LOT. There are often problems with the graphics that I have never seen before with the older CM versions. The cars simply won´t show at all and sometimes the textures are in the wrong places. This might however be a problem with the game and not the rom itself
I have installed the ROM twice and both times I have suffered from the same problems. Nevertheless I like this ROM and I think it is one of the best at the moment. I will continue to use it and hope that it will be updated to be even greater in the future.

If it is wanted I could upload a new build. The Problem is, it would be untested, because I am experimenting with something Stock ATM and so you would need to backup and try if it works and then report here. Would some of you be willing to test? If so, PM me and I will send you a link with a current UNTESTED build. You would need to give me feedback, and if it works (as good or better as the last one) I would publish it. Otherwise I will provide one tested by me in two or more weeks, after my Project with the Stock ROM is completed.

When clicking Settings- Storage: "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped." Apparently, usb storage is set to mass storage by default since the PC detects both removable storage and internal storage, so no problem really unless you want to change the usb storage setting.

Havent tested. 911. GPS works for me.
I am looking forward to development where in I could get the blinking BLN working so that my phone doesn't have to vibrate when i receive a message or mail when I put it in silent mode.
So far so good, still can't get the swipe feature to work on the keyboard. Shows the trace but no words appear.
GPS works about same as in CM10.
Any solutions for the swipe keyboard?

I think the American versions of the Galaxy S do have a gyroscope (or something close enough).
Here are some sources.
Thanks Pawitp and FE! Is there a phone that is just as old or even older than the Galaxy S that can still run the newest versions of Android so smoothly?
Although its "something close" its not a gyroscope, which is required for photosphere. Thanks for sharing this though.

This is a general discussion thread for "Cyanogen Mod 10.1 (CM10.1)" for the Sony Xperia T (LT30p)
Development thread here
I started this thread as there are some differences between CM10 and CM10.1. The aim for it is to disucss CM 10.1 for Xperia T roms, to ask questions, share knowledge or just state an opinion - so long as you are not inconsiderate, condescending or outright rude - anything goes! Just follow XDA rules.
Be aware that at at this stage CM 10.1 is work in progress and the build available is still a test build. I don't think that the ROM developers will follow this thread regularly so any questions to them might not be answered here

HDMI is not working for me... it was working in CM 10 so I don't think my MHL convertor is the issue (tried on both TV sets I have at home). For sure it's phone related because I cannot charge through the MHL adapter. Is there any setting that I need to do in the phone that I'm missing?

No, CM10.1 is not released, it's a I-am-so-nice-you-may-have-a-preliminary-look-at-how-we-progress-but-we-are-still-not-nearly-done kind of release by the FXP group. Feedback is not endorsed (as mentioned earlier) and instructions definitely do NOT exist, apart from being identical with CM10.
As soon as you see 10.1 builds appear on get.cm you may pose your question again, before that it has to be looked at as - probably best described as - "internal project"...

Usually, the only difference is that they're built by different people. They might have small little local changes, but all in all your not really missing out on flashing on over the other.

Vanir - Android 7.1.2
vanir_mako_7.1.071917.zip
First Vanir with Android 7, which finally managed to run me.
This ROM uses the kernel lineage.
In addition, it is very underdeveloped, because it does not work properly debugging, so you can not connect through adb and install applications.
There is also no possibility of a normal apk installation (message: Package installer has stopped).
I checked and I can confirm that the navigation buttons work very well in Vanir ROM, for Nexus 4 with an inactive touch pad at the bottom of the screen.
I can add a ROM to the compatibility list.

Thank you for your attention. My opinion was premature.
I installed ROM again (the same file without re-downloading) and adb works normally.
Installation through
Settings -> Storage -> Explore
also works as it should.
Probably the first installation was damaged.
Unfortunately, I have to retract my opinion regarding the operation of navigation buttons on the inactive bottom of the touch screen.
Previously I tested on my second N4, where the inactive touch screen I have in the middle of the screen.

A clear difference is speed. No more lags in opening anything which is the major drawback of official jb.

Battery is quite good for me. A good start considering the rom is not optimized yet.
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda app-developers app
Battery life is amazing, considering cm10.1 is still quite raw. I've just plugged my phone in after 2 days.. 15% battery left. Some whatsapp, some messaging, some browsing, some music... the usual stuff. Wifi on 100% of the time.
So is speed, smooth as butter. The only drawback I was able to find so far is benchmark results... ran antutu and scored 5030 points, while the better stock JB roms are near or at 7000 points. Mind you, if I hadn't run that benchmark, I wouldn't have noticed there was a performance deficiency.. no lags, no hiccups, nothing.
If you don't use video recording, and don't mind turning the volume down then up during a call to solve the low volume problem... then yes, go with CM10.1 as it is right now, it doesn't dissapoint. It can only get better!
So wich cm Rom version comes out best out of the box here. And can i flash it over all fw versions?

Well, there are a lot of CM10.1 nightlies... Have a look in the archive, I've personally had excellent results with the 20130621 one. Don't flash the latest 20130627 since it's corrupted (it weights 94 MB and a full rom is about 165-170MB)
From what I've read so far, CM10.1 works just fine if flashed over XXLQE firmware, but could have problems if using another one as base. I used polish XXLQE as base and it worked perfectly, apart from the two or three bugs CM10.1 still has.
I think cm 10.1 and pac 23.0 works well with any other base too. I'm using indian ddulp8 and got no issue at all. But better install from fresh stock firmware to avoid any problems.

Hmm wonder if it works to place the updater script from the fixed 3.8.2 version that can be flashed on Lollipop on this one and then flash. Probably not but I would have no idea. Might try it.
edit: yes successfully flashed and booted on Lollipop bootloader by changing the updater script. If anyone wants it I have attached the updater-script file to the post. Just replace the file in "META-INF/COM/GOOGLE/ANDROID/" with the one in the zip.

I`m not so impressed with this release personally. The home button does not work sometimes, some icons (for example google + and photos) are the same and when I change the dpi(cause the UI looks to big for our screens) to 400 the back icon on the navigation bar is alot bigger than home and recents app. But I know it`s in Beta state and alot of bugs could be fixed.
But the Deal-braker for me is the buggy home-button that does not work everytime.
It's quite buggy I would say. I have also encountered the home button that does not work. Also the recent button did this to me at one boot. Often the lockscreen does not work and have to reboot. This boot the statusbar can not be pulled down. I can't set system wallpapers on homescreen properly they stretch outside the screen. Seems full of small bugs so I'll happily go back to the 3.8.2 version for the time being.
Also it's a shame they made the navbar white. I really hate it when it's white. And the ROM does not feel as smooth as the other version I used. Tapatalk is choppy as hell in 4.1 where it was very smooth in 3.8.
edit: about the home button not working, I've noticed it works badly when it's set to turn off the screen when holding it. If you have that feature enabled you really have to tap it Quickly to make it work. Turning off that feature and it's working as it should again.

But the Deal-braker for me is the buggy home-button that does not work everytime.

For the icons, turn off flyme icons. Not sure about your home button. Mine is fine

I`ve flashed the rom several times cause of the gapps issue and during each test I had the issue that the home button sometimes doesn`t work or after the 2nd or 3rd press. I didn`t have the issue on any other rom here on xda and clean flashed 4.4 via fastboot before I wiped the partitions and flashed FlymeOS4.
So from my side I couldn`t recommend the rom during this state as a daily driver.

Me either. I've ran into a handful of small bugs in just about an hour. It was a fun test drive though.
However there are some things I prefer from the older version like the vertically scrollable homepages in the lancher and the expanded statusbar that ended with the notifications that gave it a unique look and it felt like you sort of don't leave the app you're in. I also liked the scrolling better in the older version. It had less "friction" and felt smoother (which it also is). And the shortcuts in recents on 3.8 they have removed that in 4.1 unfortunately.
When the bugs has been squashed and the ROM fine tuned it could be awesome but for now I'll pass I enjoy the older stable one as it is now.
Ok, Thanks for your answers
Also, this rom doesn't support 4g
