Chrome browser. - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys. Does anyone knows why everytime I access or browse at any web page via Chrome it always reloads and reloads the page... even when it already loaded fully. Like cycling every page.
Thanks in advance!

if you mean changing from tabs to tabs, then its just chrome fetching it again from cache

[Q] Opera Mobile slow start and google images

Recently my Opera Mobile has been dragging at start up. I cleaned up my cookies, cached, history and still slow. Anybody know why?
Also, try searching any image on google images and the browser goes crazy.

Turn off use http and use https in the proxy settings by opening opera:config
Cured most if not all the weird browsing errors for me.
I am sorry, I've had the phone for almost a week now and still dont know everything about it. How do I get there? Thanks.
in the url type opera:config erase the http://www.
Thanks, I checked that, and it seems to be working fine now.

Unable to set browser homepage

It keeps starting up with google.com even if it's set to another page under setting. I already shut off all location based features (GPS, etc), but not sure if this relates.
Is there any fix on this or it's a common bug?
Set home page then shut down phone, then restart phone, it should load now.

Tried already. Actually, in the settings, it displays the url as the one I set as a homepage, but even that it will still load google.com when the browser is launched.
Everytime when going back to the browser, it will load a new window and go to google.com
Is there a file in the system's directory that can be deleted to clear the cache? Not sure if this is possible if the phone is not root.
Try clearing cache, history, etc. in the browser settings, then remove the battery, install battery and see if that works.

Still no help, already tried the following:
Cleared all cache, set browser to factory setting, removed battery, removed SD card. Rebooted still loading google.com
Any other method besides going for the last step which is a hard reset? If there is a file in the browser's system directory that can be deleted to reset the preferences.
Are you typing in a valid url, if not it goes straight to Google, just a thought.
Download Dolphin Browser from the market, see if it works ok from that browser. It sets your homepage correctly. I had the same problem as you with the stock browser, but my instructions worked fine for me.

I tried firefox, opera mobile, dolphin all started up with google.com (same as the stock browser), even I set it with another "valid" url, they all ignored it.
I guess there is not a choice but a hard reset.
And of course the url is valid, it's a major one, which I have to enter manually each time because the browser ignores it.
Does anyone have an idea if this has to do with the location setting for GPS?

Google virus?!

I have a slight problem which I can't fix. Whenever I open dolphin browser hd the Google homepage opens up even though I have the homepage set as new tab. Also Google will randomly open on a new tab while I am browsing on another tab. I tried changing all various settings and it didn't fix it. I even tried downloading Firefox and that worked fine until when I closed and then opened it again it came up with the Google homepage!
I have no idea what the problem could be. I need help please!

I know there is a manual way of clearing cache and history, but even that doesn't make the browser forget the previous session...

The simple solution is to install Dolphin HD Browser from Google Play and set it as the default browser. There are loads of cool plug-ins for Dolphin won Play too. Like the Evernote plug-in that lets you post directly from Dolphin.

I'm using Chrome and don't have those issues. Have you tried clearing the cache and data from the Chrome app and rebooted?

Are you using any kind of ad blocker that uses a dns server that might have blacklisted some sites? Just a thought.
Been getting this issue as well. Are you using Chrome canary by chance? Canary is technically the alpha version of Chrome so these kinds of issues aren't uncommon
The problem is not there when connected to a VPN
