[Q] DSP Manager Controls Do Nothing - HTC Vivid, Raider, Velocity

When I change the settings in DSP Manager it does nothing to the sound. I am on the Kang 4.2.2 ROM CM 10.1 and the built in DSP controls do nothing. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

I had the same problem i googled the download for the soundfx files for DSPManager and replaced the ones on my device and that helped a bit the best thing to use is the Equalizer if you raise the first two they are bass :3
Here is a link follow the instructions. http://iandrohacker.blogspot.com/2013/02/how-to-install-dspmanager.html

Its because our device hates audio mods.. aka dsp manager.. and other audio things..

Maybe use DSP manager or volume plus?
I think some kernels have some volume boosting functionality too, such as Unity V10
Also what rom are you on?

DSP manager attached
Not sure where I got it from, but I think it worked on Trinity 4.5
You may need extra libs and stuff if it doesn't work

[Q] Noob - how to install Beats audio on GT-N7000

Hey guys whats up
i'm a noob but i have installed on my GNOTE RocketRom v7 and i noticed an app called awesomeBEATS.apk but i cant install it like a normal app , can u help me install it on my device ???
Thnaks
the awesome beats mod should come in a zip file, which you flash.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/69014495/SoundPackage_RocketRom.zip
^^ flash that in recovery, It will also install walkman music app which you need to use to get the effects, Use the Awesome beats app (will install when flashed) to change the sound
is there any other awesome mods i should have ???
Rocket ROM is full of mods anyway. You could try the carbon tweaks app and rocket mod so for some other cool features.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

Have you tried this on RRv3? I really miss the good sound enchantment from v2, yesterday i've tried this mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1983561 but it affect my cpu to work always on 1400 or 800mhz and never go to deep sleep no matter how i tweak kerner or governor. I'll try this .zip with a nandroid ready to revert changes, but if you have further information it will be nice.
wow, that worked pretty fine on RRv3, my hearphones was suffering.. without it sound is so compressed..

Only Xloud and maybe BRAVIA are usable in your zip. All other mods breaks good sound condidtion.
It seems that this mod brokes the dsp manager ,but who cares?
People, who like listening to clear music LOL...

Org.Theard:-RwoksomeEngine
this addon does really seem to improve audio quality and bass, but it also makes every equalizer i tried so far or even audio player stop working except for apollo

New question - Audio

Changed up my questions because I just did it.
Anyone else on Jelly Bean notice that the audio is messed up? It almost sounds like there is dynamic compression going on. It hits the lows and suddenly muffles out and some with the highs. I tried using the built in EQ but that didnt help (Not to mention I can't customize the sliders, only use presets.I tried an EQ app that I used on Liquid and it does not behave correctly either. So for now I am back on Liquid Smooth.
Try to use audio engine, like beats audio, ac!d audio, dolby mobile and etc.

How would I do that on stock JB? Plus I don't think that will help since the audio is barely affected by any aftermarket EQ apps.

Full deSense - possible?

Hi everyone
I'd like to make full desense of my HTC one, but I want to keep beats audio.
I don't want to make s off and change cid to install gpe.
I tried to do sth on cm11 but the result wasn't very well...
So... Is it possible or not?

just use any AOSP based rom. GPE rom will require s-off. For Beats audio, this is only an EQ that boost bass and treble to max and can easily be replaced (even have better audio) with any other 3rd party EQ.

there are so many, try some and choose the one you prefer. IIRC, there is already an EQ in Cyanogenmod. I used it a lot on my htc one x. Its called DSP manager.
