Hi all!
Just wondering if there is any way to close all open web pages (tabs) in HTC stock browser on the H1?
If I want to close them I've only found the method of tapping on the X in top right on the tab window on the pages separately.

Hello
I have more than one browser installed. I want to be able to use all of them, så I have not set a default one.
When I open the standard browser, each time I click a link I get a prompt for which browser I want to open the link with. Extremely annoying.
Is there any way to make the browser use the current session/app to open a link without the prompt?
Nobody gets this - or is there no solution?
The browser does that automaticly. You can set another browser as default but if you open the standard browser it opens the URL with it and not with the one set as default. The same with other browser like firefox, opera and dolpfin hd.

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a good task switch er, something like ctrl tab in windows that can be controlled by the notification, gesture or long press of home key that works on the kindle hd ?
I would like to use it to capture notes into one note and easily switch between one note and the ebook reading apps.
Thanks in advance

A better idea may be to get aNdClip. It allows you to store multiple items in your clipboard (up to 100 for the free version) to called back whenever you want. It would prevent you from having to switch back and forth between apps.
Put your frequently used apps in favorites. You have to do it in stock launcher I think, but that favorites is accessible everywhere and you can switch apps via it.
Thanks for the tips and suggestions!

The title might be a little misleading, but links are not opening in Chrome custom tabs, but the full browser instead. I have tried on CM and on stock. Meanwhile, just about everything opens in the Chrome tabs on my wife's phone (Galaxy S5), and this includes the news feed in the Google Now app. At first, it would open them intermittently, and now, it completely stopped opening custom tabs.
Did any of you get it to work consistently?

Chrome app provide the necessary stuff to apps to make them open their link into custom tabs
As an exemple the Google search remove this feature from time to time (don't know why in the last update the features is in it)
But It is an option in Google+ app check if it is ticked
In Google news and weather app it is force enabled now
So it's really depending on app i guess our nexus receive more update or maybe you're in the beta build of Google now?
Well...after no, and I mean, NO app updates, Chrome custom tabs are working on my phone from both the search results and the Now cards. Whatever...
And I wasn't referring to custom tabs from apps...I was referring to custom tabs from Google Now itself. Still doesn't make sense to me, but whatever.
Edit: But using the custom tabs for Google searches...it works a lot faster than opening the full app. The loading speeds are awesome!

Click to collapse
I don't understand if you want them enable or disable
Anyway go to parameters -> account (the first one) look at the pic now the arrowed one is the switch for this
I wanted them enabled. I checked those settings, and it was enabled. I toggled it off and back on, and they started to work after a few minutes.
Thanks, though. Fixed the problem since my last post.

Here's another way for you to use custom chrome tabs. Just download this app from Google Play : Chromer
It's not a browser app but it forces links to be opened on custom chrome tabs. I'm using it and it works perfectly.
