LTE signal display on cm based ROMs - Motorola Atrix HD

So I've had this Atrix HD for about two weeks. I was flashing threw some ROMs earlier and noticed that while it said 4G the little triangle had no bars in it.
I'm running liquid smooth 2.9, and I have tried the chameleon OS but both have the same issue..
Any ideas the thread I fit it from

That is a known bug with all the new roms man. It's been mentioned dozens of times.

Does this affect the 4G reception in any way? Or is this just a GUI bug?

Very nice find. Works great on my Atrix as well. Noticeably better performance and signal and it seems like my battery life has further improved (didn't think that was possible).

Effects of root

For ppl who have rooted. Have you had any side effects from rooting like reboots and such? I ask bc on my old Article 4G I had side effects like that right after rooting. I just got this phone and really don't wanna have to put up with side effects this time.

Side effects from root alone? Impossible.
Side effects from things you did after root? Possible.

For enhanced battery I'd recommend Golden ROM or Joker. Batakang Rises has pretty good battery also.

[FIX]Proximity Sensor on Custom Roms

Earlier today @Eruditass had the same issue with the proximity sensor we've been having. I suggested adding in the proximity sensor build.prop line, but that didn't help. Instead of saying F it, he messed around with some system values and found a way to make it work correctly, but it didn't persist from boot to boot. He then made an init script, but it didn't work when it should have....I took what he did and added a line to it...instead of just sending "on", I sent "off" then "on" and it worked. Here ya go, flash away.
Directions
Be on a 4.2 or 4.3 rom that has proximity sensor issues.
Flash the attached zip
?????
Profit
Obviously, if your not running a 4.2+ rom and are planning to install one.....install the rom\gapps then the fix.....
Wouldn't install for me. Said there were invalid number of arguments.

Yes, it detects when the phone is up by your ear and turns the screen off to prevent accidental touches from the face or ear. When you move it away from your ear, the screen comes back on. In the latest PAC ROMs and others I'm sure, the proximity sensor hasn't been working, I tested the fix last night and my proximity sensor works on calls now.
EDIT: I'm assuming you're serious.

For real....it was annoying. I haven't applied the fix yet, waiting for the next flash I suppose
This was the main reason why I stopped using TouchWizMod. I really enjoyed that ROM but the Proximity sensor issue was too annoying to overcome...
I'll flash back to it in a few days & see how this fix works
Worked great. I have a question, if I update/flash a new ROM, do I have to re-flash this?

Most likely an app is keeping the device awake. Try rebooting , or look in your battery stats to see if an app is taking up a semi large % of your battery
