[Q] Flashed rom but voice calls not working

I S-off'ed, rooted and then installed [ROM] Android Revolution HD™ 1.1.5 on my cousins phone then left now he's txting me saying in voice calls the call goes threw but no one can hear him and he can't hear them...any ideas? This is on a Bell HTC Incredible S

Did you flash the recommended radio from the ARHD post since this is a Gingerbread ROM? If you rooted the BM IncS and it had the original Froyo 2.2 ROM on it, then you need to flash a GB compatible radio, the Froyo based radios will not work on GB Roms.

use the recommanded radio or the latest one and flash it , the problem should be fixed.

[Q] i have got a problem with the speaker

sometimes all of a sudden the speaker sounds like tcchh
and then the sound is gone until i reboot
ROM: Stock 2.3.4
Kernel: Stock
Rooted: No

I have same problem.. but i have Rooted device

OK I have result.. I chang my stock rom for cm7 and 2 days is OK but today morning have 2 times scratch sound but all my sound or mp3 or video play without problem without restart device

[Q] Problems with call quality

Hello XDA community!
I'm a new user here and fairly new to rooting my HTC IncS.
Well anyway a few days I rooted my phone and flashed it with the latest lacoste 4.1.2 mod. All is running brilliantly except one thing.
When I first tested calling function I was told that i'm echoing and that the background noise is terrible, then I saw that noise suppression setting was off. After I turned it on everything seemed normal again.
Although today the noise and echoing was back, and the suppression was still on. I tried turning it off and it got normal again, no echo no noise.
Unfortunately during the call it got worse again, just randomly, I didn't touch the settings.
I tried searching for that problem with CM10 but seems that nobody has it, can somebody help me ?

Try re flashing the ROM. Or try the unofficial CM10. If this problem still persists, I guess you'll have to S-OFF and flash a different radio.

Okay, ill try reflashing it tomorrow, but if I need to flash another radio, which one to choose. Im currently running 20.74.30.0833U_3831.18.00.11_M.
Is there a newer one out there for jelly bean?

Well it's more dependent on the area you're staying in. I've been using the same one since gb and I have no issues.

No sound when aswering a call

Hi guys, since two weeks i've got some problems with my Z. Sometimes when i'm aswering a call i cant here a thing. But the person who's calling me can hear me fine. Same problem sometimes when i try to make a call. Also sometimes when answering a call the phone switches to hadsfree. When i turn off handsfree mode i also cant hear a thing.
At the moment i'm on exzistenz 6.0 with dooms advanced kernel. Had the same problem with exzistenz 5.0 in combination with all custom kernels and also stock kernel. Also experienced the problem on stock roms(101 & 569)
Can anyone help me with this problem?

well you just found your problem.
custom rom + custom kernel.
try another rom or another kernel.
im running fine on stock rom with stock kernel

Can't agree thats the whole of the problem, I was on stock rom stock kernel and had this problem, ironically just a few weeks ago, I installed existenZ 6.0 with stock kernel to see if I still have the problem. I don't get alot of calls so it will be a while before I know if it solved it for me.

Well yesterday i switched to the latest stock rom and kernel. No root relocked bootloader and no tweaks what so ever. The problem still remains so i'm going to a repair center today because it is most likely a hardware problem

When i run a test in diagnostic app for the internal speaker and i press the right top corner the sound is working. So deffinatly a hardware problem. Going to bring my Z to a repair center.

It's a hardware issue I'm currently having, shaking the phone, or turning on speaker works for me.

i have a serious problem: I have couple of M7 spr here, im doing sim unlock... all is ok, but, when I flash 4.1.2 to do sim unlock, there is no working camera... just black screen and after that, app will fall. So i tried to flash BadBoyz rom (4.4;5) and ViperOne (lolipop) a there is working camera, but no speaker and microphone... i have to use headset if I want to make calls...
Any suggestion what I can do?

Thanks for reply. If I upgrade rom to oficial LP from HTC, my phone will be locked again. or no?
